Lucie Rie Bowl
I found out recently that my runny metallic glazes are just doing how they do. That I shouldn’t expect them not to run, and to work out ways to use them that works with their characteristics.
The artist Lucie Rie often used metallic glazes to highlight the edges of her bowls, so was recommended to me as inspiration. The rim here is highlighted in manganese and bronze. I think my glazes, especially the golden one, could work quite well to get a similar effect as this.
