Take Photo of the Food Mod

I love when sims take pictures of food, but sadly it’s only done on experimental meals from dine out pack… Well, I decided I was going to add an interaction to every in-game meal!

This mod comes with 13 buffs when the sim takes a picture and your sim will have a notification on when they took the picture of the meal, plus your sim will have automatically posted it on simstagram, so you’ll gain some followers as a result 💕 XML INJECTOR IS REQUIRED

How does the mod work? You grab a plate and place it on an object with a chair slot like a table, kitchen island counter, Tomorang market stall, bench, or bar, and the interaction will appear. Take the food picture FIRST! Then have your sim eat. Sometimes, the interaction may not appear and it is probably because the sim ate it or something, and it just won’t appear as an option. However, it may appear after some time though. After your sim takes the picture, there will be a notification about gaining followers on social media and a notification that your sim took the pic. Read the moodlet after and your sim will get one of 12 moodlets. Young Adult to Elder have a special flirty buff ONLY when they're in a restaurant Child and Teen sims have a unique scared buff because they will feel nervous posting

Y’all this mod was a bit tedious because I had to copy my coding id to every in-game food whewww 💀. I did this for us though because I always wanted this to be a mod. Yes, the mod is a bit heavy, but you now know why ♥ I DID NOT ADD THE BUFFS TO EXPERIMENTAL DISHES*

So far, I know it's compatible with food overrides ex: Apricot Rush Food Retexture*
 Honestly, I don’t know if this mod will conflict anything, but if you know, please tell me😇

It is starting to feel like summer and I’m missing unhinged gameplay 😝

 HEARTBREAKER CHALLENGE 💔

I was inspired to do a different gameplay and the heartbreaker challenge ideas came to me as I wanted to create a mini LP to explore the new sims 4 expansion pack Lovestruck, so I made it into a whole challenge 😂

The goal is to become the ultimate heartbreaker 

What you must complete ✅

You must be heartbroken first to embark on this journey!

As a result of the heartbreak, your Sim must have either the erratic trait or the evil trait plus one of the new traits from lovestruck!

It’s recommended your Sims to have another not so savory trait (ex: noncommittal, paranoid, hates children, snob, kleptomaniac..)

Keep breaking Sims’s hearts until until one of them passes away from heartbreak

Summon the ghost of a heartbroken sim, win their heart back just to break it again 

Extra tasks✨

Complete the Villainous Valentine aspiration

Make sure to have a horrible date to the point the Sim wants to cancel the date

Make sure majority of your friends list hates you

Witness the death of 3 sims and get outlived my enemy moodlet at least one time

Make a sim’s partner die from a heartbreak (not your love interest)

Try to have a romantic dynamic with one sim to see what they bring out you

Change the mind of a sim who doesn’t find your sim attractive and break their heart for even thinking that 

Set up sims to date using hook up feature from city living then when they get hooked up, start flirting with said sim and have the friend who you hooked up catch you guys in the act!

Vlog your messy life like it’s a reality tv show and see if you can get banned from switch mod

Steal money after you stole someone’s heart

Add a strange quirk to your sim to make them unique

Use extreme violence mod or life's drama to spice it up!

UPDATE Jan 5/2025: Thank you SonozakiSisters for catching some minor errors ♥ 1. I have updated some stuff like the interaction appearing for all sims when it's meant for bookworm sims only. 2. The interaction won't complete on its own unless you cancel it, so I fixed that, too. 3. I also fixed the inspired moodlet to have +3. 4. Lastly, I created a cute custom buff for sims who complete the want! (look at the second last pic to see the buff) I hope your weekend is/was amazing ♥

Growing up in Ontario Canada, I loved reading manga. My library had many for me to read and I used to get so excited! Recently, while I was playing with a cringe sim [For Rent], I noticed an interaction called scour for memes and it's when a sim is feeling playful, they can search for memes online. I was so shocked at how cute the screen looked while my sim was looking at these memes because it reminded me of the manga I would scroll and read.

Long story short, I found out it's an override after going into the vanilla game LOL! However, I still felt it would be nice for bookworm sims to have this and to share it for storytelling purposes.

How does the mod work?

You click the PC, and go to the web section, and click "Read Manga". Then your sim will read a manga and have one of 6 moodlets (4 positive & 2 negative as seen in the last picture). There's a custom want your sim can have too and it only shows up for bookworm sims. This mod is for child to elder sims. All ages have the same moodlets, except I removed the confident buff for the child sim.

Don't forget to download Simkatu's override and XML injector mod for it to show up in the game.

At this point... Bookworm Overhaul mod may just be a thing, and I will combine analyze books, read manga, and a future wip all into one mod LOL!!!

Fun fact: I made the icon for the custom want by using two in-game icons and combining them (I used base game and hsy icon I believe). I think this is my first interaction mod too? I love how much I'm learning with this journey of modding. Thank you for being patient with me♥

Noelle can’t stay here anymore. Julian tries to stop her, but she breaks up with him on the spot which pissed him off. Julian was confused especially since they had just woohoo’d. Noelle reassured him it was just woohoo, the same thing he said to her when she asked him about his affair.

It was all happening just a bit too quick for Julian and he asked Noelle at least to talk to the kids before leaving. He knew there was no convincing Noelle to stay with him especially since he didn’t want to cut his affair partner off either… Noelle obliges and waits for the kids to come back from school to tell them she’s going to San Myshuno to stay with her sister Noemi and perhaps permanently moving there

Knox follows his wife and sees she’s still meeting with Julian and now that Knox knows Julian is married and where he lives, he approached Noelle and told her to follow him because he knew where her husband was. Noelle was skeptical, but she followed him. And was shocked to see him in the arms of another woman. An argument erupts between the two and sadly it’s Harvestfest day, so Noelle has to act okay for the sake of the kids to give them one last good holiday 🥹

I love the new pack's business branding feature with logos to choose from, but the options are soooo limited, whereas the possibilities are endless with the new mechanics. Zerbu added his icons for the small businesses, but I think the icons don't fit the "logo" language even though I use them for clubs and holidays.

Huge credit to Zerbu because I played with his more icons file to figure out how to do this on my own in a separate package.

If you use Zerbu's more icons mod, you have to remove the small businesses tuning from the package file (unless he has a without logos option, idk).

I am not the 100% original creator for some of these logos and illustrations. They are from Canva Pro, and all credit goes to their respective designers.

It won't work if you have or use other cc that adds custom logos for small businesses.

I've tested this in my game and have been playing with these since the release. I haven't run into any issues. Lmk if you encounter something
