Not that I didn’t already have tremendous respect for artists, but these exercises have made me understand and respect them even more. I think 75% of my time was just shading.

I will probably continue doing these because I want to draw people and fanart eventually. I have a shit ton of screenshots I’ve taken over the last year so why not? Still traced like yesterday’s until I get better.

Thing I learned: I’m afraid of drawing shadows. Need to get over it.
