"Killa Cam" [8.10.19]
Written by: Steven Seaman
Do you like MVP winning quarterbacks? Do you like top 3 upside for a cheap price? If so, Cam Newton is your guy.
I understand the shoulder concerns coming into this year but the later we get into August, the more it looks like Newton is ready to return to full form. Remember how scared everyone was of Andrew Luck last season because of the shoulder? He won so many people leagues drafting him at a similar price and made everyone who passed on him look foolish.
Before his injury, Cam had an 11 game span averaging 250+ passing yards and 2 or more touchdowns. He was near the top of the fantasy QB list a majority of the year and still finished at 10 with a bum shoulder and limited rushing playbook.
Newton has finished in the top 10 six times since his rookie season and has finished as the QB1 during his MVP season. He's performed at an elite level before and there is no reason to think he can't perform that way again with this Panthers roster.
He is a dominant rusher which gives him a great floor, especially in leagues where passing touchdowns are worth 4 points instead of 6.This also could very well be the best group of weapons Cam has ever had with CMC, DJ Moore, Curtis Samuel, and a healthy Greg Olsen.
Elite production in the 8th round of Fantasy drafts are what championships are made of. Put all the concern aside and draft this potential league winner for a bargain price.

"No Love" [8.10.19]
Written by: Steven Seaman
Jared Goff surprised us all last year! He was exceptional for most of the season and was the QB2 over the first eleven games. Things got a bit more difficult towards the end when he went up against some of the best passing defenses in the league, but he still managed to finish with QB1 numbers (QB7).
Mostly everyone has Cooks, Woods, and Kupp being drafted in the top 50 but are failing to show much love to the man getting them the ball based on Goffs’ current ADP. Something's gotta give.
Jared is still young and has a chance to improve even more in this prolific Rams’ offense. Put some respect on his name and consider him one of the biggest draft day steals at the QB position.

"Marky Mark" [8.10.19]
Written by: Steven Seaman
I look at Mark Andrews and see a lot of similarities between him and George Kittle of last season: a big dude with great speed for his size along with a young QB who is in need of a reliable safety blanket as he tries to become a better passer and make a giant leap in his second year.
Since Lamar Jackson took over, Mark Andrews has looked great. He was the number 2 TE in yards per reception only behind OJ Howard. It's rare for rookie tight ends to come into the league and instantly make a splash, but Andrews proved it’s not impossible having one of the best rookie seasons at his position this decade has seen.
He was only on the field for about 35% of the offensive snaps and I expect that number to shoot up drastically this season.
History shows us that the true elite guys at the tight end position usually make that next level jump in year two. It’s been reported that Jackson already looks way better as a passer and has an instant connection with Andrews in camp, especially in the red zone, continuing their chemistry from last season.
On a team with a second year QB and bunch of rookie receivers, expect Andrews to be the go to target as the rookies adapt to this Ravens’ offense. I'm not betting the house that Andrews is this year’s Kittle but for a guy that is pretty much free at the end of drafts, he's certainly worth taking a shot.

"Sony PlayStation" [8.9.19]
Written by: Steven Seaman
When 2019 mock drafts started up, Sony Michel was being drafted in the first three rounds. We all witnessed how dominant he was during that playoff push on a run first Patriots team. How fast things have changed.
The Patriots used a 3rd round pick on Damien Harris which instantly hurt Michel’s value in the eyes of many fantasy players. Add a history of knee issues, an off-season knee scope, and starting camp on the PUP list, and Michel quickly found his name on many "experts" bust/do not draft lists.
The talent is most certainly there; we all saw what he could do when he’s healthy and fed the rock. The more people stay away and drop him in the rankings, the more inclined I am to buy in. Sony holds the most value in standard scoring leagues but the latest news out of Patriots camp is that he’s performing extremely well as a pass catcher and blowing past coverage. If he can perform well as a dual threat back, Sony could easily be the steal of your draft and finish as a high-end RB2 with upside. Scared money don't make money folks! Risk it for biscuit and give me Sony Michel at his 5th round ADP all day long.

"Dalvin Cook Hype Train" [8.7.19]
Written by: Steven Seaman
I know what you're thinking... why would I use an early second round pick on a guy who has only played 15 games in 2 seasons? I get it; but fact of the matter is that Dalvin Cook is one hell of a talent and a shifty back on a solid offense with a good line. He excels in the passing game and should see a great target share. The only competition he has is rookie Alexander Mattison and zone-running game guru, Gary Kubiak, has emphasized that he wants to be a run-first team and his plan is to use Cook heavily, especially on the goal line.
Cook is finally in camp 100% healthy and with two stud wide receivers in Minnesota, it’s going to be very difficult to stack the box and focus on the run as much as opposing defenses would like to.  If the injuries concern you that much, make it a focal point to handcuff Cook with Mattison in the double digit rounds. If Cook were to go down again, Mattison should step right up and be a solid RB2 filling in.
If (and when) Dalvin Cook plays every game in 2019, he will be a top 6 RB and a first round pick in next year’s fantasy drafts. His ceiling is one of the best in league right now!
Get your ticket for the Dalvin Cook hype train in 2019! Admission will never be this cheap again...

"Flossing" [8.7.19]
Written by: Steven Seaman
In fantasy football, volume and situation are everything. Take JuJu Smith-Schuster for example: the perfect player for both of these components as well as my dark horse pick for #1 WR for the upcoming 2019 season. Since entering the league, the 22-year-old Smith-Schuster has been nothing short of electric regardless of playing in the shadow of future hall of famer, Antonio Brown.
Last season, JuJu put up WR1 numbers while being the WR2 on his team catching 111 passes for 1,426 yards and 7 scores. If you're a logical thinker you will know that there has to be some regression coming from Big Bens 675 pass attempts from last year, but also keep in mind that the 168 vacated Antonio Brown targets have to go somewhere and Big Ben is known to force-feed his #1 WR.
While it is only a small sample size, keep in mind that in the 3 games without AB, JuJu has recorded 20 grabs for 255 yards and 3 scores, proving he can perform well as the top dog of this Steelers offense.
JuJu turns 23 in November and already has just under 500 fantasy points in his 30 game career. The only WR who has put up more points before turning 23 is the great Randy Moss. For perspective, Larry Fitzgerald is number 3. That's some elite company if you ask me.
Start practicing your Fortnite dances because JuJu is about to floss on his doubters all year long. The sky truly is the limit for this young stud.

"Bling Bling" [8.6.19]
Written by: Steven Seaman
Picture this: you walk into a jewelry store and see a beautiful, refurbished diamond bracelet with the price cut in half. You ask the sales associate why it's so cheap and he responds that “people are just paranoid and have way too many concerns around it so we are just going to keep dropping the price until we sell it.” Don’t be that paranoid customer on draft day.
Since entering the league, Ezekiel Elliott has averaged the most rushing yards on a per-game basis. He has proven he can handle a massive bell cow workload and has also demonstrated that the best may still be ahead when he found his place in the passing game last season reeling in 77 of 97 targets. It's hard to believe but he actually saw a higher workload in the passing game when the Cowboys brought in Amari Cooper. Jerry Jones is not stupid and is constantly under a lot of pressure being the owner of “Americas Team” who have not won a Super Bowl since Zeke was a one year old toddler; this team runs and succeeds through Zeke. You know it, I know it, Jerry knows it, and Zeke definitely knows it. He is a special, generational talent that rarely shows up in today's NFL with the majority of teams going RBBC these days. The Cowboys are in win-now mode and Jerry Jones knows that he stands a snowball's chance in hell of winning another Super Bowl any time soon with Tony Pollard or Alfred Morris as his starting running back. This deal will get done before week one and Zeke will continue to feast. BOOK IT. Jerry Jones is a notorious spender and has even said himself “when have I not been able to get a deal done?”
If any of the paranoid drafters in your fantasy league want to let Zeke slip past the top 5, I have some advice for you: get out your nicest crop top and buy that diamond bracelet, cause it’s gonna shine all season long.
