I absolutely loved this movie.

Yeah, it is an overplayed trope of let's put a "monster" with one weakness we've seen before in Birdbox or Quiet Place.. instead of not being able to look at them or make a sound.. they can't go below 3000 feet. With

Anthony Mackie as the lead, I was intrigued, it's the Twisted Metal obsession to be quite frank with you, I really wanted to watch.

The sceneries were quite stunning for this type of movie and made me wanna pack up and move to Colorado.

I love movies with twists and this takes the cake, not as much as Heretic but still one at the end, needs a prequel back story show of how the creatures came to be and why they are there.

The raw emotions of the characters in the apocalyptic setting and how it affects each individual person and the desperate need of community even at the risk of their own lives.

There is plenty of action as well.

A24 has done it again, produced an amazing movie with twists and turns I definitely didn't see coming.

The trailer seems to give it away, but it barely touches the surface. Hugh Grant plays an amazing bad guy in this movie and stunning performances by Chloe East and Sophia Thatcher as the protagonists. I am left on my toes as everything is not what it seems at every chance, and you think one girl is definitely the final girl, and it ends up another. A great take on modern religion and how easy it is to control people with a lie.
