As she pulled the bottle towards her drink, she gave a soft smile at the blonde. “Gotta get what you want, you know? Especially when I think they have been hitting on that girl for like over an hour. How else are we supposed to get drinks, right?” A pause formed a she looked over at the woman. “Want some?”
Savannah looked over to see the bartender indeed flirting with a girl down at the end of the bar. The blonde took a mental note that she was quite pretty before turning to the hotter woman that impressed her. When she offered her some, she smirked and nodded. “Yeah, I would. Thanks.” Her tongue ran over her lips as she ran her fingers through her hair. “I’m Savannah by the way.”

“I love you so much, little Bubble,” the blonde beamed at the labradoodle puppy, nuzzling the fur on the back of his neck with her nose. And one additional affectionate scratch later, Lara straightened her back and her gaze shifted to the veterinarian who had just finished examining the puppy. “So everything’s alright, Vet? He’s healthy?” Asked the woman hopefully. “He seems happy, especially when we give him cuddles. And!” Her blue eyes lit up as she was excited to share the following with the other blonde. “He loves the beach! The sand! Digging up seashells, running around, even chasing seagulls.”
“Yes, he’s very healthy!” Savannah confirmed with a grin as she looked at the owner of the cute pup in front of her. A soft laugh escaped her lips from the other’s excitement from what her puppy enjoyed doing and she ran her fingers over his soft fur one last time. “I’m glad to hear that and the energy he has, he won’t stop loving all of those things anytime soon,” she chuckled. “He’s all good for his shots which is perfect and my next question is, did you want to get him neutered in a couple more months when he’s a little older?” She asked before shaking her head. “You don’t need to answer that now if you don’t want to, no pressure. Do you have any questions for me about him and future appointments?”

“Yes, I suppose that’s true! My son is quite interested in American sports like football and baseball, too. I don’t understand them, but I’m supportive regardless,” Cecelia said, shrugging her shoulders as she glanced at her older boy. “They love it out here. It’s definitely one of their favorite places in the city. Although, we are having a pool put in our backyard, so I’m sure that’s where they’ll want to be all summer.”
“I grew up watching football with my old man so if you need help better understanding that and baseball, I’d be happy to help,” Savannah offered with a grin. “Also, I’m going to take a big guess here and assume that you’re from the UK? I haven’t spent any time there, but your accent seems pretty strong so far,” she said with a soft chuckle before nodding. “I think that’s awesome, I’m sure they’ll love the pool, especially when it really gets hot.”

“I’d argue those who get scared are the weak links of the chair food and by definition not worth your time or energy, unless you’re into that in which case I won’t shame you, I can appreciate that helplessness sometimes” the music producer granted, lips curled up into a playful smile. The brunette sat next to the blonde, her shit-eating expression growing as the stranger now identified as Sav, continued talking. “A beer is a good start, I wanna be sober enough to remember this and not say something stupid which is bound to happen, but I have more control over my mouth if I’m conscious. Now beautiful is a nickname I can get used to, Sav.”
Savannah laughed softly to her words and nodded her head. “Gorgeous and funny, I’m starting to really like you already,” she half teased before licking her lips and waving the bartender over. “As much as I love to get trashy drunk, I think being sober is going to be best for us tonight just while getting to know each other,” she said before smiling at the bartender and ordering their drinks, ordering herself a beer as well. Turning back to Jo, she smirked. “Now that you know my name, I’d love to know yours.”

Lila couldn’t help but give the lovely blonde her most skeptic look. “Nice save, Savannah, but we all know I look like an old rag standing next to you. I’m curious though, how often does that line work for you?” The brunette nudged Sav playfully with her elbow, yet she remained close. Truth be told, Lila did feel pretty, all dolled up but more importantly since the meeting went well, she did feel a bit lighter on her feet and less tired. “What will you do about those super creeps, turned on by our little games?” It was an offer she couldn’t refuse though, greasy food and drinks. “I do hope you know, by the way, I’d be lost with you woman.” Lila remarked honestly, but quickly as she wasn’t used to showing affection. “What are you in the mood for? I’d be content with a cool craft beer,”
Savannah dramatically gasped as she placed a hand over her chest as she teased her dear friend. “Now I’m hurt that you would think I’d use that line on other people,” she teased, laughing softly to her nudge as they walked to the nearest bar. “Oh, you know, there’d be some hand holding and I could kiss you on the cheek. If only you floated over to enjoying the same gender, I’d kiss you on the lips,” she teased, wagging her eyebrows playfully as they entered the bar the blonde chose for them. Walking inside, she ran her fingers through her hair and started towards the bar. “I love you too, friend,” she responded, shooting her a grin before releasing her arm and leaning her body against the bar top a bit. “I’ll order one as well, it sounds good for tonight, especially with greasy food.” She then waved the bartender over and ordered their drinks.

A shake exchanged, Soo took up alongside this Savannah to be lead wherever she had in mind. “So,” she began, maintaining a rather flirtatious expression. “Do you always ask strangers out for drinks or am I just incredibly lucky?” This would no doubt be the start of what she considered a fun questionnaire to get to know the woman better.
Savannah couldn’t help chuckle to the woman’s question and she turned her head over to look at her beautiful face as they walked together. “Honestly, I’m never usually this forward and as much as I wanted to go home and watch stupid reality TV alone, I thought drinking with strangers would be fun,” she admitted with a smile as she lead them to the bar that was across the street. It looked crowded, but she was sure to find them a table where they could talk more. “What would you be doing if I didn’t ask you to go get a drink with me?”

Rarely did Josie ever go out. Yet, she was feeling a bit more free and going to the bar seemed to be more fun for the night. With two drinks in, the petite brunette tried to motion to the bartender, pouting. “I got this,” she spoke more to herself as she reached over the bar, grabbing the bottle of vodka from behind the bar. Seeing someone stare at her, she gave a small shrug. “I’ll pay for it, I promise.” @cityofdreamsstarters
Savannah usually was the kind to stay in and read her romance books or watch trashy reality TV, but she found herself in a bar drinking a vodka soda to start out. She was sitting next to this beautiful woman who she had been sneakily checking out and before she knew it, she was watching her bend over the bar top to grab liquor and she couldn’t help but smirk. She also couldn’t help but look at her ass but that was bound to happen. “I’m not going to rat you out, I promise,” she responded with a smirk before licking her lips. “I’m impressed...and that was hot.”

“That sounds terribly unpleasant, but I suppose you don’t mind it much when you’re playing a sport you love.” She understood that much. She was fairly athletic herself but simply hadn’t been allowed to participate in many sports, which was why she was giving her own children the freedom to choose what they wanted. “Equestrianism, tennis, and ballet. No team sports, though.” In response to the woman’s words about her children, a smile spread across her facial features. She seemed incredibly friendly. “Thank you! It’s lovely to meet you Savannah, I’m Cecelia,” she said before gesturing to her child, toddler, and baby. “And this is Jack, Penny, and Theo.”
“While those are individual sports, they are still just as intense and sports that you have to have major skills for,” Savannah pointed out with a grin before looking back to her children and nodding some. “It’s nice to meet you as well,” she said knowing well that the children weren’t going to talk much to her. She was a stranger after all. “I’m loving that you are all enjoying your time out here together. It’s a beautiful day and if I had kids, I would be doing the same thing.”

“You’re an excellent judge of character, Savannah. A beautiful name, I have to say.” A few steps took her closer to the blonde. Pearly whites still shining bright in her smile. “I’m Sooyoung, Soo for short, if you’d like. I’ll be your fun drinking company for the night and who knows what else.” A light flirtatious tone underlain within her words. Hand extended to the other for a proper greeting.
“And you are very sweet,” Savannah responded and let her eyes roam her body quickly. “And attractive,” she added with a chuckle before taking her hand and giving it a gentle shake. “It’s nice to meet you, Sooyoung, Soo for short,” she grinned. “Who knows what else indeed.” As much as she wanted to keep holding her and looking into her beautiful eyes, the blonde let go and motioned her head towards the nearest bar. “Shall we?”

Bright green eyes looked to the woman as well as his dark orbs. “They’re obviously a Maine Coon.” What really did he have to say that he didn’t when he made the appointment. Didn’t the receptionist do their job and jot that down or was this an attempt at conversation? Chances were equal. “I found them in an alley walking along in Brooklyn. Got them some food and water. A bath as well, they were filthy. “Nose scrunching as he thought of the dirt clumped in the long beautiful fur of the feline that had been there. “Since they’re pure bred, they have to belong to someone, right? I want to make sure they’re healthy and check for a chip as well.” If there was an owner, they would get one of his vicious lectures upon the cat’s return.
Ignoring the sass that came from the young man in front of her, Savannah focused on the furry, curious looking patient in front of her. She glanced up at him to listen to his words and she smiled as she started to examine the cat and feel around it’s body. “Well, this cat is a female and you did a great job taking care of her,” she complimented, peeking up at him to show another smile before getting back to work. Feeling in between her shoulder blades, she found the chip and continued to examine every part of her body to make sure she was healthy. “She is chipped, her eyes are bright, her ears have no discharge or odor so she is owned by someone and is quite healthy,” she said, looking back up to him before looking back down to the cat. “I’m sure she is very thankful for your care to her.”

The heir wasn’t always a patient man. Such was the case today as he fidgeted in the room he was brought into at the Vet clinic with the now clean and fed Maine Coon cat on the sterile table. Stroking his fingers over the long fur, he grumbled about the absurdity of having to wait for the examination to begin. Judging from the surface level, the creature at least looked healthy. There was the matter of inner workings, however, on top of potential chips to see if they were claimed yet or not. Both things were something he had been wondering about since he had spotted the animal.
@savxlockwood
Savannah was having a busy, but good day so far and while she wanted to kick her feet up and drink a cup of coffee, she had more furry patients to take care of. Walking into the next private room, she smiled at both the man and cat in front of her. “Hi there, Yichen. Tell me a bit about this cat you’re holding here,” she said in a cheerful tone while putting gloves on to be safe.

declanmcgrath:
declan had closed the daycare and was headed home for the day. beatrice was spending the weekend with her grandparents ( his late wife’s family ) and his step-daughter was going too. which left declan alone by himself. it had been a long time since he’d been on his own.
he was thinking of what to do to keep himself entertained, when a random stranger came up to him, asking him if he wanted to go for a drink.
declan stopped with a frown and looked behind him, wondering if she was talking to somebody else.
‘ me ? ’ he asked, looking back at the stranger. ‘ uhm… sure !! okay. ’
Savannah couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow as she watched the male look behind him but she found herself smiling again a moment later. “Yeah? I’m glad,” she said before starting to walk towards the nearest bar. “My name is Savannah, and you are?”

Cecelia was thankful that the woman didn’t seem bothered by her son’s soccer ball coming in her direction. As she kicked the ball back, Jack happily ran towards it. “Did you? That’s amazing! I wish I would have, but I never got the chance,” Cecelia said simply. Around people who didn’t know who she was, she preferred not to go into too many details that would give her royal status away. “I’m sure my son will get the hang of it the older he gets. He’s been all about sports for the past couple of years. He eats, sleeps, and breathes them,” she laughed.
“While it gave me bruises all over my body, I still had fun playing the sport for a while,” Savannah said with a soft laugh as she looked more at the woman in front of her. “What did you enjoy doing growing up?” She asked, wanting to get to know her. It was easy for Sav to make friends as she was an easy, outgoing person and she loved that part about her. “Oh yes, I bet,” she said, laughing once again as she let her gaze fall onto each of her kids. “You have really cute children by the way. And for that not to sound so creepy, I’ll introduce myself. My name is Savannah, and you are?”

Jo’s day had been less than optimal and there was nothing she wanted (or needed) more than a drink and something to get her mind out of the clusterfuck her life had turned out to be, or had always been. Alas, the music producer found herself in the first bar she could find, ready to forgo of all that troubled her the minute he crossed the door. The petite brunette walked towards the bar, ready to order her first drink of the night (a beer, in case she needed to change her mind and go home without touching an ounce of real alcohol) when a voice nearby called for her attention, a brow raised towards the blonde’s direction. “You’ve got balls, I’ve always liked that on a woman, how can I say no to that? Only if I can get the second round though. Do I get a name with that drink?”
Savannah couldn’t help but smirk to the woman’s words and she let her tongue run along her lips before responding. “My forwardness either scares the shit out of people or some, like yourself, think it’s impressive. Plus, gotta love a woman with some balls,” she teased. The vet could already tell that these two were going to have some fun together and it didn’t hurt that she was quite attractive as well. “My name is Savannah, or Sav, and yes, you can get the second round of drinks,” she said, leading her over to the bar and taking seats. “What do you want to drink, beautiful?” And here goes the flirting.

The woman’s feet hurt and her body was thoroughly worked out after long hours of dance put into it which made the sensation rather satisfying in its own right. Slow steps carrying her along the busy payment when she stopped at a light. Not expecting to be propositioned at that point in time and most certainly not from such an attractive woman. “I could probably use a drink, if this means I get your company with it. It would be kinda weird to offer one to a stranger just to buy without some conversation involved.” Plump lips curved into a little boy smile. “And on the terms I learn your name, too.”
Savannah couldn’t help but smirk at the woman’s words as she spoke. Not only was she attractive, but she seemed flirty and fun too. “As much as I love drinking alone, I’d much prefer company and I feel like you’re a fun person and we’re going to have a fun time,” she responded before starting to walk in the direction to the nearest bar with her. “I’m Savannah, and you are?”

Lila met the blonde halfway and halted in her steps to give her a look over her sunglasses. “Whoa, I have my hair blown out once and you don’t recognize me anymore? You wound me, Savannah,” to be fair, Lila didn’t look her usual self– there was no leather and only black on her was her jewelry to match her white pantsuit. The brunette was coming from a long and exhausting meeting so she wouldn’t say no to the blonde’s offer– not like she would say no to her even if there was no meeting, but still. “Where to, miss? Did you have anything in mind? Let me warn you– I have zero tolerance for creeps today and I could eat something that’s bad for me.” At least she’d be double motivated on her morning run the next day.
“It wasn’t that I didn’t recognize you, it’s that you stunned me with your beauty, Lila,” Savannah responded with a grin as she looked at her friend. “Plus, you look like you’re in need of some Sav time,” she teased, reaching out to link her arm through her friend’s as they started walking towards the nearest bar. Listening to her words, she found herself chuckling to them and nodded. “Well, thankfully for you, I know just the bar to go to for greasy food and good drinks. For the creeps, I’ll just flirt with you like I always do and they’ll go away soon enough.”

As Savannah closed up at work, she took a deep breath and ran her fingers through her hair. As much as she wanted to go home, change into her pjs, pour herself a large glass of wine and watch reality TV shows on Netflix, she felt adventurous tonight and wanted to go out and have some fun instead. It was the weekend after all. Walking out of the animal hospital in a slim skirt, heels and a nice blouse, she began her walk towards the nearest bar she could find, excited to have a drink or two. Turning a corner and letting her eyes set on the person walking towards her, she approached with a smile. “Hey there. I know this is random and I might be coming off a bit strong, but would you like to go get a drink with me?”
