Do other people in the world really believe the genocide is over or that conditions have improved? They began starving the North in March last year and then continued to starve the whole Strip for a year and now they are starving the whole Gaza Strip again this March, in Ramadan.
Genocide is an act of collective punishment and neglect of the most essential life sources.
In reality they began committing genocide against the people of Gaza the day that the siege on Gaza was imposed. What we continue to witness since Oct 7th is only the same genocide accelerated which I will never stop repeating.
Not only that, the murder by aircraft has not stopped. israel's fascist death machines are still hovering and threatening and firing and killing people in their tents, in their damaged homes, in cars, at people trying to rebuild...their thirst for Palestinian blood is literally infinite.
Even if the fire stopped, it would still be genocide. There is no such thing as an israeli ceasefire because they practice murder by freezing and starving and medically neglecting and physically and psychologically torturing Palestinians too.

It's with a heavy but hopeful heart that I watch Palestinian families fundraise on here, slowly accumulating the precious little money to go around that they need to survive. However, not everyone is so lucky. A lot of Palestinians that have not had that kind of luck, that did not get early verification, that did not get massive platforms behind them from large bloggers, have approached me in my inbox, asking me kindly to do what I can for them. It kills me that I have so little to give myself, but I've seen this platform collectively raise enough to change someone's life. I've made a list of Palestinian fundraisers that are extremely low on funds, in the hope that drawing attention to people who have not been lucky at all can help turn that luck around. I know most of us can't possibly give enough to get all of these families safe in one go. But please, reblog this list. Pick one or two fundraisers, give what you can, and then keep track of it. Slowly, collectively, we can make a difference in these people's lives. Share and donate as much as you can.

Help a disabled family get home
With the announcement of a ceasefire and plans to reopen a safe route back to north Gaza, the Al-Habil family are getting ready to go back home!
But the way ahead is still very difficult. Ibtisam's son Mohammed needs an urgent surgery to try to save his leg, and her daughter Nour needs ongoing medical care and a nutritious diet to live with her heart condition. Ibtisam herself is also still trying to treat severe back pain after a herniated disc.
In addition to all of this, the costs to travel back to their home in the north of Gaza are extremely high. Due to having multiple disabled individuals in their party, traveling by foot is impossible. This means they will have to hire a transport, which will cost thousands. The fact that disabled people are being exploited with such exorbitant prices is disappointing, but there is nothing we can do right now.
To meet the family's needs and arrange safe and accessible transportation, we will need about $6000 USD (about $8,619) CAD. We will raise it increments of $1,000 USD or $1,440 CAD.
Without your support, Ibtisam and her family are stranded in central Gaza, with no way to get home. They still have no income, and likely will not for some time. They should not be forced to remain in displacement, living in limbo on the streets of central Gaza, because of disability.

In a moment of internet disconnection, I was looking for something to entertain me, and I found myself playing with the dinosaur in Google Chrome. The more I thought about it, the more I realized that our lives in Gaza are just like this game — we keep pushing forward, trying to survive despite the many obstacles, just like the dinosaur jumping over them. 🦖💔
But here, the obstacles are much bigger than just pixelated ones on a screen.
But despite these small moments of entertainment, the reality in Gaza is far from fun. We live day by day in complete darkness, no electricity, no internet, and no aid reaching us.
The crossing is closed, and we watch as hope slips away day by day. Nothing is coming. We are stuck in these tragic circumstances. There is no food to keep our children alive, and we have nothing but pain and fear. Hunger is tearing us apart, and we watch our children suffer in front of us, unable to do anything.

I am Kareman, a Palestinian mother from Gaza and a teacher. I used to be awarded "Best Teacher" every year, always striving to be an inspiration for my students. But today, even education has become a distant dream because of the dire situation we face. We are truly living in a catastrophe, and hunger and fear are overwhelming our lives.
I need you now more than ever. Our lives are in danger, our children are hungry, and we are waiting for anything to save us from this darkness. If your heart has compassion, and if you can help with any amount, even a small contribution, it will change our lives.

I am Ahmed from Gaza, 26 years old. I stand before you as a person trying to support my family of 7: me, my father, my mother and my sisters, in our miserable circumstances, which we live in after the occupation launched the war on Gaza. We were displaced from our home and it was completely destroyed. We are now living in shelters. Due to the circumstances and low income, we are unable to provide the necessary benefits such as food and drink due to the crazy increase in prices. Thus, my source of livelihood has been destroyed, but it has been completely destroyed, as we are no longer entitled to work; and we expect to live in miserable conditions in the shelters. It is difficult for me to find the words to describe what we face every day in the shelters; without food, medicine or clean drinking water; with the oppression, helplessness, psychological pressures, doubts and daily shocks caused by everything around us and the inability to care for our loved ones. The fear of danger, disease and death never leaves us.
Now, I find myself in this difficult situation, and I humbly ask for your help to save the lives of my family, especially my father and mother, by getting us out of Gaza to Egypt and building a new life outside Gaza or helping us get money to buy the necessities that we may be able to afford. Asking for help is not easy, but we had no choice because we want to survive and strive to rebuild our shattered lives. We are very grateful for any help you can offer, no matter how small, as your help will go a long way in alleviating our suffering. I hope you will share my story with your family and friends.”

Very slow campaign!
Ahmed @ahmednaserfamily reached out to me as he has been trying to raise funds on Tumblr for 3 months but his campaign has barely raised anything. They have been verified by gaza-evacuation-funds and gazavetters (#37). So far, only €797 has been raised of the €100,000 goal despite making the GFM months ago back in August.
They are a family of 20 approximately 20 people (details under the cut), including Ahmed's twin brother who was taken by the IOF and was released 2 months ago.
Several members of their family urgently need treatment abroad. Ahmed's son, Kenan, age 8, needs eye surgery. You can see him in this post. Ahmed's brothers Anas (29) and Zakaria (25) were also injured.
Tala, who is 12, was injured in a bombing, sustaining fractures on her third rib and on her right forearm, requiring thoracic and plastic surgery. Mahmoud, who is 2, has cleft palate and needs plastic surgery as well, as cleft palate causes feeding and speech difficulties and surgery is usually done before 2 years old, depending on the child's weight. Tala and Mahmoud are the children of Ahmed's twin brother. Ahmed sent me their medical reports which he has given me permission to post as we hope it will help boost the campaign (pictures under the cut).

A Cry from the Rubble: A Family Torn Apart by War

Hello,
My name is Ghada, a 32-year-old Palestinian woman from Gaza. I once lived a life filled with hope and ambition ✨. I studied Information Technology 🎓, earned a bachelor's degree, and worked at a private company where I believed my future was taking shape 🌟. But in a single moment, war destroyed everything.
Our home, the place that held our dreams and memories 🏡, my job that I was proud of 💼, and the future my family worked so hard to build—all reduced to rubble under relentless bombing 💔.

Our Home... Reduced to Rubble💔
When the bombing intensified, our lives turned into an endless nightmare 😔. Our home, once a sanctuary of safety and warmth, was completely destroyed, forcing us to flee to Rafah in southern Gaza ⛺. There, we lived in a tiny tent that barely protected us from the harsh winter ❄️ or the scorching summer heat ☀️.


But even that was not the end of our suffering. We were displaced again, this time to central Gaza, where we now live in an overcrowded school for displaced families. Here, we have no clean water 🚰, insufficient food 🍞, and no safety to speak of.

My Father and Brother... Victims of Economic Destruction 💔😑
My father, Nabil, 62 years old, worked tirelessly in his small aluminum workshop 🔨. It was our only source of income, but the war destroyed it completely, leaving him helpless in the face of this devastation 💔.
My brother Khaled, 23 years old, graduated with a degree in accounting 📚 and started his career in a construction company 🏗️. But like many others in Gaza, he lost his job and dreams to the war 💼. Today, he bears the heavy burden of providing our family with basic necessities like food and water 🍞💧, despite the unbearable conditions.


Our Children... Innocence Lost to War 💔😢
The children in our family—Lama, Nabil, Amir, Fatima, Iman, and Noor—are the true victims of this war 🧒👧.

They live without schools 🎒, without toys 🧸, and without any hope for a safe future. Diseases are everywhere 🦠, and recently, polio has begun to spread, adding to their suffering. These children, who should be learning and playing, are now trapped in fear, hunger, and illness 😢.

Life Here... A Slow Death 💔🥺
We are living in conditions unfit for humanity. The water is polluted 💧, food is scarce 🍽️, and diseases are rampant 🩺. Our children go to bed hungry, and every day, we wake up to more pain and despair.

We Plead for Life... Before It’s Too Late 🙏💔
All we want now is to escape this nightmare 🛑. Crossing the Rafah border into Egypt is our only chance for survival 🌍, but it costs $5,000 to $7,000 per person 💸—an amount we cannot afford.

Lina @linagaza0 is a Palestinian mother of two children, living in Gaza and doing her best to care for her family despite the cruel occupation that has displaced them from their home and keeps them in constant danger.
She and her family have made the difficult decision to leave their homeland so they can live on in safety, and are fundraising so they can cover their travel expenses. Additionally, with high costs in Gaza, their family needs donations so they can afford basics like food and clothes.
Here's the life Lina is living now, in her own words:
"Hello, I hope you and your loved ones are well. I am not well. I live under war in difficult conditions after losing part of my family and my home as well. I gave birth to my baby girl in these conditions by caesarean section without any care. My children need your support and donations. I hope you can do that. My baby girl recently suffered from a serious illness and rash due to pollution, contaminated food and contaminated water. Health is deteriorating. Today they told us that we have to evacuate and that our area is a danger zone. Where will we go? We do not know. We are directly targeted. There are no necessities. Everything is obtained with difficulty. Water, medicine, food. Here they kill us. 🙏🏻❤️😢😢"
