Lots happening over last couple of months here..!

My Swedish friend Anna took some amazing maternity photos of me, and I was completely blown away at how gorgeous they turned out. Can't believe it! Such a special momento to have of me and the belly 😍

Mike's mum has arrived to Whistler with her super cute dog, Lucy, and slowly getting settled in.

I had a lovely baby shower marathon just this past weekend, and got super spoilt by my amazing Whistler family of women. Wow, so lucky to be surrounded by such great people here, it sure helps realizing this when I'm so far away from my family back home in Norway ❤️

Lovely reunion with Mike's brother Alex this past week! Had a great time ripping around in his brand new Toyota Tacoma and going on some great hikes. We were blessed with sunny weather the whole time he was here too! 🌞

So nice finally being able to see some family again. Very grateful he was able to make it here before moving to Quebec! Every day was full of adventure, we went to bed happy and tired every day.

On the same day as Alex arrived, a package of baby clothes from Norway and Ontario arrived! The little baby girl is already getting so spoilt 👶❤️

We've been slowly getting the apartment ready for the baby, working on a few space saving solutions to maximise our storage and layout.

Mike started out by building us a fancy new King size bed frame with room for storage underneath. We went to Ikea to get storage boxes to fit under under it, and lucky for Mike they fit perfectly! 😂

We also bought a dresser to double as a changing table. Mike and I built the dresser together, and I have to say I love our teambuilding abilities when it comes to these things!! No discussions or arguments while building 💪

Been able to get lots of baby stuff used from the "Whistler buy & sell" Facebook group. Such a great community here in Whistler for people in similar situations with families abroad or far away. We've gotten so many helpful tips and advice from people we've met. We bought a car seat, stroller and just got the bassinet stroller attachment the other day. All in nearly new condition at a fraction of the price to buy it new! Gotta love a good deal!

Big news from us here in Whistler 💕

Mike and I are expecting a little girl in November and we are so excited for this new phase in our lifes together.

This big life change has made us feel like it's more important than ever to stay in touch with our family and friends near and far.. So I (Ina) decided on a whim to create this little photo blog for our closest friends and family to follow us as we welcome our newest Scandi-canadian into the world 🇨🇦❤️🇳🇴
