Considerations:

Responses will not be shown lined up to any of the other data, so don't worry about that. Only concern is style/writing quirks and details (like people mentioning titles they've worked on)

Whoa a pretty high number of non-religious scanlators so far

lmao a rainbow of "other". 64% of respondents so far are translators in some capacity, which is super interesting! With how hard they are to recruit, I imagined there'd be less. Maybe translators are more likely to work on their own or stick to fewer groups?

Hi! I'm conducting a survey on the scanlation community to better understand community makeup and scanlator opinions. Please fill it out and spread it around if you can! I would really appreciate it, and I think it would be useful for the whole community to have some idea of who is in it and who thinks what. Info: - It takes 10-20 minutes to fill out - Some example questions the survey asks include: length of time scanlating, roles performed, posting platform, opinion on mtl, retl, watermarks, etcetera - The survey is completely anonymous, and any questions about demographics are optional - Results will be posted sometime in early 2023.
