Because I have a one-track mind, a small detail stuck out to me in chapter 1124:

The narration boxes specifically state the Straw Hats are going northeast to Elbaf. That struck me as odd; why add in the northeast part? Why not just say they're going to Elbaf?

Could it be because someone else happened to go northeast and may be in need of some help?

He got a mention in this chapter, after all.
