Breast has always been best. This whole uproar is literally only occurring because of the silly resistance individuals choose to place on that one decision someone else is making for themselves and their child. What the literal heck did mother’s do before bottles, formula, and online forums where a mom can purchase breast milk if her supply comes in late, or not at all, or etc.!? I find this whole movement sooo bizarre; not the women fighting for their bodies to be unsexualized so they can feed their children, but the actual fight itself is bizarre. Seriously, American culture has been preaching sex and selling sex for a loooong time, so what is the problem here? Men seeing boobs being used for a real purpose? Religious groups hating on mother’s for using their body the way their God intended? Yea, their are lot’s of silly humans who actually just feel uncomfortable and cover up their feelings with excuses and point their whiny fingers at someone who is more vulnerable in that moment then themselves.... mother’s simply feeding their children. So, the next time you see a hater or feel that whiny vibe of discomfort radiate from a human walking by... sit next to that mom and smile, hold a pleasant conversation with her, just be expressive in your compassion and all around understanding for that mom... oh, and let’s it shine from you like the sun so whoever is being a nay sayer will just keep on stepping by...buh-bye!

8.14.2018 Ahh, one of Rupi Kaur’s gemstones to sift through. Her opener clutches you, then you follow down the poetic path until you reach the end and feel like a Goddess has just delivered a divine message; love takes strength, but so few are willing to practice love fully. We fall fast and move on fast nowadays, which for some might be the best or only kind of love they want or need. For another part of us, it’s just not satisfying to jump from one being to the next, sure making friends is always wonderful, but having that connection that can withstand time- that is worth the work. Others are still drawing the lines of our boundaries and wondering what to even label those lines as! (Which I love and enjoy many conversations on the array of relationship dynamics there are today). As always I enjoy her poetry’s guilt free openness and ease of word usage. I enjoy simple, but concise writing. That is Rupi Kaur in a nutshell...well as a poet in my eyes. Thank you Rupi Kaur, and always Bless Up.

JMB Introduction for this Tumblr
Hello, Welcome to my tumblr page where I will be posting daily/weekly poems, personal writing regarding my ‘child’ ‘hood’ confessions, dropping new mom bombs, and will leave quotes (or whole pages) of my detailed thoughts/feelings and or stumbling blocks to my own personal growth. I am writing in a an online platform to reach more people who feel out of sync with this funky fast paced world or for moms who feel like they can’t make a mistake in public because someone might post it (guess what, mom’s make mistakes too). For all the kids out there who were pigeon-holed by their parents, and for anyone who enjoys a human on the never ending journey of personal growth. I am a wife and mother who currently is in the middle of a job transition. I am moving from regular employee to a freelance writer and general proof reader. My hobbies include, but are not limited to; reading, writing, singing, drawing, water coloring, spirographing, running, yoga, cooking allergy awareness recipes, and being full of unconditional love for myself, my family, and most humans I meet on a day to day basis.
I look forward to hearing from you and hope you enjoy what I put out.
Thank you & Bless Up
