What differences would there be in a 145 and 154 INFJ? (Also 1w9 core and sp/so) By the way, I really enjoy reading your blog. Thank you!

Ok, so both of these INFJs are probably very introverted and cautious, almost always choosing to withdraw from the world in order to deal with it rather than just jumping right into things. The perfectionistic nature of Type 1 combined with the singular vision of dominant Ni indicates a tendency toward a singular idea of what “should be”, which likely manifests as a tendency to think like an idealistic reformer of yourself, others, or society. 

The 4 and the 5 emphasis indicate secondary fears of being insignificant and incompetent. Your definition of insignificance is likely contextualized by your relationships to the people around you due to your auxiliary Fe’s outward emphasis. You perhaps wonder how you are different from (or better than) others and do what you can to ensure that you have a unique, significant identity. You also look to make sense of the world around you, which is evidenced by your type 5 fix and tertiary Ti, and are likely prone to “overthinking”. 

I’m guessing that this INFJ with a stronger 4 will be more trusting of their Fe than an INFJ with the stronger 5, while the INFJ with the stronger 5 will experience a constant, consistent battle between their Ti and Fe. The more type 5 INFJ might have even mistyped themselves as a thinker at first. The INFJ with the stronger 4 will experience this battle as well, but would likely allow their Fe take the reins with a little less resistance. Both of these types are likely prone to Ni-Ti loops. 

To get a quick idea of whether 4 of 5 is stronger in your tritype, think about what’s more important to you: having a unique personal identity (4), or being able to make sense of and understand the world around you (5)? Which of these ends does your tendency toward rightness, correctness, and perfectionism hope to allow you to achieve?
