I'm fascinated (and concerned) by popcorn machine implications in the cartoon universe.

Oh no! Shag 'n' Scoob are about to be cornered!

So? What's their first instinct?

"Great idea, Scoob! We'll hide in a pile of popcorn!"

So he, uh… puts in one coin…

…and… yeah.

This is 25¢ of popcorn in the Scooby-Doo universe.

Or, adjusting for inflation, a buck 42 today gets you a popcorn tsunami.

But the bigger concern is how, upon entering the breakroom in a factory…

…the gang thinks nothing of the waist-high pile of popcorn.

This is just another Tuesday.

People purchase several cubic meters of floor popcorn all the time.

You don't even get a container for it. I hope they mop a lot.

The animators accidentally left Daphne half-blinking for 27 frames.

…I can't tell if she looks high, or just incredibly disappointed in us.

And let's not ignore the extremely-valid possibility known as "both."

I thought the way Fred was frozen in the wide shot was kind of uncanny.

Then I paused during the close-up.

Potentially Possessed Rigor Mortis Fred was a direct improvement over Definitely Has No Soul Fred. I regret everything.

Every once in a while I'll randomly click the activity feed of the blog, and go "huh, guess that has 30,000 notes now."
