         ❝ this is the second time i've been through this. ❞  pushing her hands into the pockets of nest jacket, dohwa kicks at the ground idly.  last that she remembers was trying to help huijin by creating a distraction with hyeseong and acting like some drunkard.  ❝ pisses me off.  couldn't even put me in the same house as last time.  instead they put me in the one next to it. ❞  all is said under her breath as she then takes into consideration  ..  complexes. right ..

         ❝  i can only feel vibrations ..  you got nerfed as well, huh ? ❞  at least she still had her stinger.  it was only unfortunate that her exoskeleton and the neurotoxins in her stinger were long gone, as well as her strength. of course, maybe it was for the best for now.  dohwa had that tendency to be aggressive and a little too rough for her own good at times.

        hand reaches out, balled into a fist before it connects with his chest, her expression smug and taunting.  even if she was once again stuck in this predicament, at least it was with someone she considered a friend.  last time had been lonely.  ❝ if someone messes with you, i'll kick their ass.  it's a good thing you have me around. ❞  this, however, brings to mind something she was told the last time she was around,  ❝ i was told that it all can return, but that's all i know. ❞

Junhyeong too took a few seconds to look over the young woman before him. Dual colored hair? Check. Scorpion tail? Check. Constant use of abraisive language? Yeah, this was definitely his dear childhood friend.

So these people can just take whomever, huh? Junhyeong inwardly bit his lip at that, uncomfortable at the thought. Not too long ago, he used to belong to an organization that does the exact same thing.

"Just a few days ago," he answered truthfully, his expression softening somewhat. Adjusting to a new environment was often awful, but now that he's with a familiar face, Junhyeong felt a little more at ease. "Wasn't easy getting my bearings. Or this whole limitation they have going with my complex. I don't like it."

            ❝ huh ?  i should be asking  you  that. ❞  squinting, dohwa scrutinizes for a few seconds.  that's definitely her friend.  she would know.  ❝ oh.  shit, they really did get you. ❞  if the situation didn't leave her feeling so agitated, she might have actually been able to laugh at it.  unfortunately, being spirited away without warning against her own will  –  well, it always left her feeling sour.  this was the second time, and she hadn't even had a break from this place for long before she was once again pulled back.  ❝ so .. when the hell did you get here ? ❞

"Dohwa...?" He thought that voice sounded familiar. Who knew he'd run into Dohwa of all people while on his way from buying groceries-- wait. "Wait, what are you doing here?"

             ❝ really ?  this shit again ? ❞  at least the scenery hasn't changed, given that she's literally next door to the last place she lived at last time.

if the stranger had been trying to find trouble, it certainly had been found. yet more than trouble, it at least made dohwa's day a little more lively even at the expense of having to step into a swamp. it certainly had been a while since she was able to let off a little steam and energy, and she was full of it.

there was no hesitation in her movements. she was not armed with any weapons, and all she had was her basic strength, as well as her tail .. but that was good enough for her. what was a bag of bones going to do to her, anyway ? " hey, dumbass ! " she whistles to get the skeleton's attention, " over here, loser ! " dohwa calls once more. her steps through the murky, thick water are heavy but fast enough that she's able to make it to the skeleton before it is able to even throw the spear in its hands.

she quickly turns as she reaches the skeleton and falin, enough that her tail collides with the enemy and is enough to temporarily knock them off their own feet. " if you're going to start trouble, at least stay on your feet. " this time, she addresses the other woman, reaching a hand out to help get her back to her feet before the skeleton can do the same.

✤ There was something almost homely about Cotes, Falin had decided. Well she did come from a fantasy world herself. She'd heard rumours about animated skeletons in the swamp and, being a cleric with a high resistance against spirits and the undead, she had curiously decided to check it out even though she didn't have much in the way of a means to defend herself.

"Oh..." She was unaware of the fact that she was being observed by another person, but it didn't take her long to bump into what she had been looking for. A skeleton armed with a sharp spear rising out of the waters.

She stumbled back and landed in her butt in the water, nearly dropping her wooden mace in the process. This was probably not the best situation to be in. At least not with the skeleton drawing ever closer.

im mobile right now but forever thinking about dohwa and how she sometimes wraps her scorpion tail around people .. its only happened a few times, but ..

" she missed group a .. she missed nest university .. she missed the class president, and hyeseong, suchan, and junhyeong. the booze parties, and everything else. it was always too quiet, even back at her assigned home. only one other person lived there, and they were .. well, she had yet to even meet them. however, dohwa was forcefully yanked from her thoughts as she heard a strange noise from nearby.

was that .. was that someone going into the swamp ? for a moment, she stares with an eyebrow drawing upward. for far too long, she must have stared, but she eventually broke the silence. " the hell .. ? " she stands at the edge of land, where the swamp and land met. unlike this strange person, she was remaining dry and not about to look like a fool. from her observation, they looked like they were searching. did they .. lose something ?

" she hadn't been prepared to be whisked away to some strange place like this. even if it's been a while, she is well aware she's not great with people or social situations in the first place .. " my strength is nothing to scoff at. " or it hadn't been, but the limitations she had placed on her happened to nerf her full strength. " .. and i can hold my own in a fight, easy. " no one was even talking about fighting.

💧 "Well it would depend on the type of work you're looking for... wouldn't it? Do you have any experience in the theatre? Acting? Singing? Dancing? Behind the stage? If you're strong there's plenty you could do without performing!" Furina should really not try to recruit people when she barely has any money to feed herself.
