How to deal with a Grumpus

So for any of you who have ever driven through downtown of any big city in America you know that it's a hassle and it's definitely not the most fun thing in the world to do. It's even worse riding passenger seat with a grumpy ass boyfriend. I can't even tell you to this day now what he was moping about or being a butt-head about. But I remember it really pissed me off. Isn't that how it always goes? So I'm not a fan of fighting it out in the car, so I get quiet for about a quarter of a mile. And then I just yell, "DUCKKKKK!!!!" I don't know that it really helped in the moment but we laughed about it later.

What it's like to be a parent

My cat is outside of the bathroom door meowing at me. "I'm just trying to use the restroom; I'm sorry I cannot give you attention right now. Just a little privacy would be great. I promise I love you but could you shut up for like one minute?"

I don't understand

I don't understand why 2 jobs and school is not enough. Busting ass is not enough. I don't understand how I have friends who have been to all these exotic places and the most exotic place I go is the petsmart. I don't understand how I'm alive after eating crap for months. I don't understand why some people are living with more money than they know what to with while we are just trying not to let ours run out.
