While this is an interesting head Canon, it just can't be. Margo from Despicable Me is a Universal Pictures made movie while Inside Out is Disney Pixar. If they were in the same universe, the head Canon would be accepted by me. It might be accepted for a lot of other people, but I'm not completely satisfied. Now, maybe I'm nitpicking and not completely accurate, but their eyes aren't even the same shape. So whoever and their brother that came up with this, it was an interesting concept, just not plausible, in my opinion.

Disney Relationship Thoughts
Okay, so I said I was gonna do a post about the family trees in Disney, so I'm gonna take a quick crack at it. I've decided to kind of start with Once Upon a Time. Mostly because I'm watching that series again, and they have quite a few twists on family relationships.
So let's start with..... Peter Pan.
He had a relationship with a dark fairy. Their relationship produced Rumplestiltskin.
Rumple and Milah had Baelfire/Neal.
Neal got together with Emma who was Snow White's and Prince Charming's daughter.
Snow White was the daughter of Ava and whoever she married. I can't remember his name. Leopold? I'll have to think on that one, but I'm gonna call him Leopold for now.
Now Ava dies and Regina/Evil Queen marries Leopold, making her Snow White's stepmother.
In the real world, because of her curse, Regina adopts Henry, the grandson of Rumple, great grandson of Peter Pan.
Regina's mother Cora, married prince Henry, but before that, she had another daughter. Zelena. The green witch from Oz. So the Evil Queen and the Wicked Witch of the East are sisters.
Now Zelena tricks Robin Hood into getting her pregnant by disguising herself as Maid Marian. So now Regina is an aunt.
Whew. Just this story line alone has a lot of family connections. But we're not done yet.
Rumple gets with Belle, and they have a baby. Which means that Neal has a brother. This would make Henry older than his uncle.
Snow White and Charming have another baby, whom they name Neal. So Emma is way old enough to be her little brother's mother.
Now we know that Ariel is the daughter of Triton who is related to the gods. This includes Hades. Ariel's uncle maybe?
And Hades falls in love with.... Was it Cora? I don't remember right now. But in any case. Ariel is cousins with Hercules. Who is most definitely the nephew of Hades. This is some fun shit, isn't it?
Elsa and Anna show up later in the show. We know they're sisters, and that they're related to Rapunzel. Which makes me wonder.... Was that her name given at birth or did mother Gothel change it after she was kidnapped? That's for another day.
Now where was I? Oh yes. Elsa's and Anna's parents decided to travel to see if they could cure Elsa's powers. However, their ship crashed, but not before they possibly had a son. They managed to survive and make a makeshift home in the jungle. They end up killed by a jaguar, but their son Tarzan survived. He's another one who's name is not 100% known. Tarzan was given that name by his adoptive gorilla mother Kala. What was his real name?
Now Tarzan meets Jane who wears a yellow dress and has a love of books and learning. Which sounds very familiar to Belle, Rumple's wife. Is there a chance that her and Rumple's son later had Jane?? Or one of Jane's parents?
Then there's Malificent who had a daughter that later met Emma and was reunited with her mother.
Ursula had a sister named Morgana.
Ariel and Eric had a daughter named Melody.
Then there's Aladdin who's father was the prince of thieves. And Jasmine was the daughter of the Sultan. Who were Aladdin's and Jasmine's mother's?
Then there's the genie of the lamp. One genie falls in love with Alice from Alice in Wonderland. The other genie falls in love with Regina.
And we know Cora was the queen of hearts, but there was another queen of hearts. The Knave of Hearts was in love with her, and she chose the crown and riches over him.
Ruby/Red Hiding Hood is related to Granny, and her mother was also a wolf.
Cinderella's father was King Midas, and she was ultimately raised by her wicked step mother with her two wicked step sisters. Cinderella falls in love with Frederick, though I have no idea who that is or who he might be related to.
So many characters and story lines. They intersect at so many points. It's hard to keep it in line just by writing. I need paper and pencil to make a map of all of this.
To be continued...

Disney Villains
Shall we look at some of the Disney Villains we've had?
Snow White - step mother
Cinderella - step mother
Sleeping Beauty - pissed off evil fairy
Belle - Gaston
Enchanted - step mother
Tangled - kidnapper/adopted mom
Frozen - Hans (I personally think it was the trolls more than him)
Alice - Queen of Hearts
Aladdin - Jafar
Tiana - voodoo guy
Mulan - the Huns
Do you see a pattern? Lot of evil women, specifically step moms. I had a thought. Where are the evil MOTHERS-IN-LAW?? There are plenty of jokes about them, because as many women will tell you, they are TRUE! Mothers-in-law are evil. They're rude and demanding. They're stuck up and cruel. Wouldn't it be lovely if the next movie that Disney came up with was about an evil mother-in-law?
I would watch the shit out of that! The movie could start at the wedding scene. "I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride." Camera pans to the mother-in-law, who isn't smiling, but instead has a look of disgust on her face.
And all throughout the movie, all she does is make the princess miserable. The family sits down by the fire to enjoy an evening of quiet reading. The princess tucks her feet under herself in her favorite comfy chair. The mother-in-law (who lives in the same castle with them), starts shifting in her seat across the room, struggling to get comfortale. Finally she looks at the princess and asks her not to sit that way (with her feet tucked under herself) because it was hurting her back and making her uncomfortable and difficult to read. The princess does as requested. The mother-in-law smiles smugly at getting her way.
This kind of thing goes on for years, until the princess has had enough. She starts talking to her husband, the prince. But all he does is stick up for his mother. Every time. The princess feels isolated, alone, and just beaten down. Finally it becomes clear, as her husband starts acting more like his mother, that she needs to leave. The prince and princess get divorced.
The princess later finds the perfect person for herself. Someone who is nothing like her husband, with a mother who lives far away in another kingdom, and all she ever does is send her son money all the time. The princess is finally happy. Happier than she had been in years.
What a wonderful story that would be! I'd watch the shit out of that. It would teach kids that although divorce happens, it's not a bad thing. It also shows that there is not always ONE true love or love at first sight. That sometimes people get a second chance. Oh please Disney. Make this happen.

I just have to wonder why Disney (or any other company) deletes AWESOME scenes like this. I mean sure, it doesn't add a whole to the plot, and it is extra time added to the movie, but.... It's funny. It's cute. It gives more insight into Lilo. It shouldn't have been cut. Disney needs to stop doing this. Please. Think before you delete.

Okay, so I absolutely LOVE this idea. I would also love to see Lilo and Boo working on their family tree. Like is Boo, who had a Jessie doll, Andy's mom!? We do also see the Pizza Planet truck in Monster's Inc. Lilo I believe is most likely related to Moana. And we already know quite a few princesses are related.
Ooh. Maybe while Boo and Lilo are working on their family trees in college and saving Stitch and find Sully and Mike, they also find a door that leads to another dimension or reality or alternate universe that helps to tie each of their family trees together with all the other family trees in the Disney world.
I kind of want to work on a giant tree and timeline. See how to tie families together. Ooh. I bet Mulan is related to Tadashi and Hero. That would be cool. I would even want to tie in other characters from Disney's movies. Roger, Anita, Penny.... Which reminds me. I wonder if the bad guy from Oliver Company is possibly related to the bad guy in the Rescuers Down Under.... If the princesses are related, the villains could be too. We already know Ursula and Morgana were sisters. Hercules is related to Ariel, which means that Hades and Triton could be related too.
Speaking of the underwater princess... In the TV show, Ariel introduced me to a deaf mermaid. There are not enough TV shows or movies that have deaf people incorporated. There really should be more. I also saw an idea for a princess that can't sing but can rap. That would be awesome too.
We have seen princesses go from damsels in distress to rebels to saving themselves. More diversity, more empowering women. I just want my daughters to grow up similar to Elsa and Mulan and Jasmine and Merida and Moana.
Those are all my thoughts for now. Until next time...

Remaking of Cartoons to Live Action
Beauty and the Best was great. Not gonna lie. Little worried about the Lion King. OUAT did a great job with sooooo many characters and stroy lines. I haven't seen the last season of OUAT yet, but I'm almost thinking it didn't cover Up. Now, that would make a great live action movie. Would love to see what the CGI version of Kevin would look like. What's another movie that would make a good live action movie? Monsters, Inc. That would be a good one.

I like how it says unknown for Nala's father. Lol. Mufasa is her father. There were only two male lions in Mufasa's pride, him and Scar. And Scar wouldn't have done anything with Sarafina. He had three kids with Zira, so I think that was the only lion that liked him. His brother put up with him and loved him cuz he was family, but the other lionesses of the pride, didn't really have anything to do with him. They all slept in the same room with Mufasa. That's why when you see Scar with the mouse, he's all alone in his own little cavern in the rocks. You see that too when Simba talks to him. Also, a female lion will disappear to have her cubs and start to come back without the cub but with its scent on her, so that the king of the pride gets used to it. After a while, she'll bring the cub, and the king will either accept it or kill it. So it makes sense you never see Zira. Her first born son wouldn't have been king either, and Mufasa had exiled her. So she lived somewhere else with Scar's children. And I think when Scar rose to power, he just didn't bring Zira back for whatever reason. Probably didn't want to share the power with her or with his own son. Doesn't help that Nuka is... Well, Nuka. Kind of retarded, that one. Then of course he had Vitani, and I'm pretty sure she's a girl since she has NO mane. Then there was Kovu who would have made Scar proud if he hadn't fallen for Kiara. I don't know. These are just my musings on the whole thing.

Maybe the reason they all look the same is because they really are all related...

Lilo in Hawaiian means lost. Stitch came and stitched her broken family together. Lilo had lost her parents, her friends, even her sister who became more like her mom in trying to take care of Lilo. Then there was her thing about feeding Pudge the fish a peanut butter sandwich because he controlled the weather. Her parents had died in a car crash on a rainy night. This is by far my all time favorite Disney movie.

Crossovers
OUAT is my favorite TV show because it combines my love for Disney and those characters meeting up with each other. I used to love seeing Lilo and Stitch in other TV shows like Kim Possible. So I'd like to see more Disney movies like that. Like Rapunzel being in Frozen and actually being a cousin to Elsa and Anna. With my last post about all the princesses being related (I forgot Belle!!!), I'd like to see them all meet up. Have Merida and Mulan shoot together. Have Belle show Rapunzel her library. Have Cinderella and Snow White hang out and discuss cleaning techniques and animal friends. Have Flounder help Dory and Nemo find Marlin. I bet I could write some crossovers. Hmmm..... Which characters would get along well and which ones would butt heads? This could be fun. Might have to seriously think about it. After all, like that famous saying goes, "Write what you know." I do know Disney. I love Disney. As far as Belle goes. She's French. So isn't Cinderella, I believe. I wouldn't be surprised if they were cousins. If I'm being honest...

Disney Relations
So... Elsa's and Anna's mom and dad were lost at sea. Their ship sank. They were lost at sea long enough for her to have a son on an island inhabited by gorillas. They get killed by a jaguar and their son, Tarzan, is raised by gorillas. Elsa and Anna's cousin is Rapunzel because you see Rapunzel and Eugene going to Elsa's coronation. Cool so far, right? Let's keep going. So you have Tarzan who married Jane. Clearly, he's a prince. Him and Jane leave the island of gorillas and have a son. Guess who? Prince Eric. Prince Eric who is constantly at sea cuz his parents visit the island regularly. That's why he's such a good sailor. We all know that Prince Eric married Ariel and had a daughter, Melody. So now you have Prince Eric son of Tarzan brother to Elsa and Anna cousins of Rapunzel. Since princesses, queens, princes, and kings are usually all related, let's see just how much further we can go, shall we? So then you have Prince Phillip who marries Princess Aurora, daughter of King Stefan. What if Stefan was Prince Eric's brother? That would make him Tarzan and Jane's other son. Why not? Same black hair for both. Which they got from their grandfather. Let's not forget Cinderella who wasn't a princess but married a prince. Same with Snow White. In fact, if you look at Snow White's prince, he looks a lot like Cinderella's prince. So clearly Snow White and her prince had a son. They're probably related to Prince Phillip's father or mother. So far, I've connected them all fairly well, and I'm not even done yet. King Triton had seven daughters. One of whom had red hair. Do you suppose that after Ariel found true love on land her sister did too? And to a Scottish King no doubt. Hence you have.... Merida! Now Aladdin and Jasmine are in Egypt. And again, Triton had seven daughters. Including one with black hair. She could have very well married the Sultan and had Jasmine. Why not? Jasmine and Aladdin could have very well had Naveen who loved to travel (maybe by magic carpet) and found America, specifically New Orleans where he finds Tiana. And yes Naveen being Aladdin and Jasmine's son makes sense because he's neither white nor black but looks somewhat Egyptian. Not so much like his mother, but more like his father, though his face is sharper, kind of like Aladdin's father. Am I missing any Disney princesses? I know that Pocahontas and Mulan are counted as Disney princesses but technically they aren't. Mulan and her man (forgive me but I can't spell his name so I'm not even gonna try lest I offend someone) weren't of any kind of royalty. Just a son and a daughter of soldiers that became soldiers as well and fell in love. Pocahontas was daughter of the chief, so she's more royalty than Mulan, but still isn't considered a princess. Even after she married John Rolfe, he wasn't a prince, just a regular man, a sailor. They're still both important figures in Disney though. They definitely get more recognition than say Alice from Alice in Wonderland. But you know. I think I did forget one princess. Does anyone remember The Black Cauldron? Yeah. The girl from that movie was a Disney princess that seems to get forgotten even more so that Alice. With her blond hair, she's either Cinderella's or Aurora's daughter. That would be my best guess anyway. One final note: although they aren't princesses, they deserve recognition simply because they are awesome and my favorites. Nani and Lilo. Yup. And David. No, he's not a prince, but he didn't give up. He was a good friend who was there for Nani. Great movie. That's all. Hope you had fun. :-)
