Horrible evil phan dream last night: was watching a dnpg video and dan kissed phils cheek for no fucking reason and in the edit they replayed it like 10x calling it "mommy's cheek cam" fucking hell

Tonight on Scuddles Cooks Dinner: Penne with All-the-open-veggies-in-the-freezer Marinara!

I used penne, Aldi marinara (my favorite one), some tomato basil chicken sausages, leftover onion and bell pepper, and half a bag of frozen spinach that was getting kind of icebergy.

I hesitate to call this a lazy meal because I did have to boil pasta and slice up the chicken sausages, but it was less effort than a lot of the things I like to make. It was good! (It's pasta so that's not hard) It was quick to throw together and has lots of veggies, which I like.

Bonus dessert (not pictured): banana pudding pie. Look, they put a big display of pudding and pie crusts next to the bananas at the store and I am nothing if not suggestable.

Hello good morning. I had a dream that Dan stood up at the end of yesterday's video and he wasn't wearing trousers and phil started, like, jokingly complaining, "oh no people are going to see your thighs," and Dan's hoe on main instincts took over and he turned around and lifted the shirt up and he was wearing boxers that were the same pattern as Phil's old bedsheets.

I feel you. I had a similar list for myself last year and it took months! I have lived places with ass internet and laundry rooms that were bad enough to force me to drive to the laundromat and literally 25 year old appliances that mgmt refuses to fix. One winter I had to put all my perishables in a cooler outside because the fridge couldn't cool below 50 degrees, and then I had to fend off stray cats on the back porch. And I was like, I'm not doing that anymore!

It's hard. Here, they all either cost 300% more than they used to, or there's a waiting list 2 years long, or it's a shoebox...that also costs too much and has a waiting list.

also am I a snob for having these as non-negotiables with apartment hunting? for context: I work from home and also cook most of my own food, often from scratch

2 bedrooms, or a living area large enough / with enough wall space that I can separate out an "office." I do not have this currently and it sucks

enough natural light that I don't feel like I'm living in a cave. I do not have this currently and it sucks

a kitchen that is not ugly, has decent counter/cabinet space, and features a real kitchen sink of reasonable size. my current kitchen hits #2 and #3 but it is, tragically, very ugly

cats allowed. you see, The Boy is an integral part of my household

air conditioning. idc if it's just a couple of window units, but I cannot fall asleep if it's warmer than about 75f inside and I have passed out from heat before in temps of 85f

a safe place to put my car. that safe place may even be the street, depending on the neighborhood

a safe place to wash my laundry

electricity is reliable. again, I work from home

management hasn't made design choices for the walls or floors that inherently clash with all of my furniture

management is not literally a shell company for the local slumlord
