SO, as you will have noticed…. I haven’t been very active on here! I decided to give Ez a wee break and let her sleep. Now that she’s waking up, I intend on moving blogs soon && PROBABLY changing URLS. I will 100% let you all know when this move will take place, which probably won’t be until i’m caught up on drafts on Rey, but ye!

sO THAT INFLUENTIAL MUSE DEAL?? Lmao first of all pls ignore these graphics i-tried.jpeg. These are my ultimate babies right here && I’ve had a LOT of fictional babies (that sounded a lot less weird in my head) They are all from  VASTLY different fandoms. Some of them have similar characteristics, some of them have the exact opposite. The main factor between them I believe is that they are INCREDIBLY strong women. I honestly have no idea how they all came to be or WHY I decided to play them (the wand chooses the wizard, Harry) I guess see pieces of myself in them, or pieces I wish to emulate in some way (pls take that with a grain of salt where my badie’s are concerned though lol) Each of them has taught me valuable lessons. I’ve become a better writer and storyteller and I’ve met incredible and talented people.

ANYA & EZRA KAVANAGH: Original characters, initially set in the DC universe upon creation in 2012, now firmly planted in Marvel.

MY FIRST BORNS!! THE BABIES THAT GOT ME INTO THIS WONDERFUL WORLD. A lot of my muses seem to stem from fanfictions tbh. I had just seen TDKR and was bursting to write about it, but it just…. wasn’t enough ya know? I had heard of tumblr rp around the time the first Avengers came out, I had stumbled across a Loki blog that was pretty fantastic, which sparked my interest. BANE was the villain that actually drove me to make my muses though. That asshole has a special place in my heart and I will forever be grateful I got to interact with such a brilliant one, if only for a short time. Since then, my girls have grown and expanded in directions I never dreamed they would. They have raced shooting stars, dancing in the northern lights, kissed dragons, and fought wars. Their story, and the story of every character i’ve created in their world as become so abundant and richly detailed it fills my heart to bursting. They are pieces of my soul and I love them with every fiber of my being.

REY: 

okay listen, I know I play a very specific canon divergent Rey and it’s only been like two weeks, but seriously guys, s e r i o u s l y. Every single version of Rey is important to me, not just the one I chose to play. Before I saw the movie I just KNEW I was going to love her. She went above and beyond my expectations and I just?? I honestly don’t recall the last time I’ve loved a canon character this passionately and I can’t even begin to explain why or what it is about her that draws me in. She is everything I needed and wanted to be when I was a little girl. She embodies strength and vulnerability in such a REAL and relatable way. I want to give Daisy Ridley every award ever for her spectacular performance and for coaxing Baby!Summer out of hiding. 

GAELETH AMDIRIELL: A canon original character, the Elven Queen of Mirkwood inspired by the work of Tolkien

Ahhhhh my sweet Elvenqueen. She usually demands attention in the winter (probably because that’s when all of the Hobbit movies were released) Out of all of my (longterm-ish) muses I had the most trouble with her. She’s finicky as hell, which is probably because I’m not used to writing a character with no grey areas. Despite that though, she is incredibly dear to me. She the epitome of compassion and beauty and possesses this gracefulness that makes me weepy. I wanted her to embody a tender mother figure to all she met and I think I achieved that over the years. However taxing it could sometimes be, there was also something refreshing about writing a muse that harbored no ulterior motives. She is good and kind simply because that is how she IS.

JENNIFER CHECK: 

My Succubitch… SO, storytime! Back in 09 when this shit came out, a friend and I thought about sneaking in to see Jennifer’s Body. Our fifteen year old asses weren’t old enough to see it yet && I was a wuss so it never happened (We bought tickets to see the ultra cute Penelope ft James Mcavoy & Christina Ricci which is one of my faves okay ) FAST FORWARD ALMOST EIGHT YEARS, I finally get around to watching it. Y’all don’t know how mad I am that I waited this long cuz it’s honestly amazing. Despite bad reviews, I adored it. I didn’t think Jennifer lacked depth, I didn’t think she was as  superficial like a majority of other people did. There are little hints throughout the film that tell another story, one that’s all too common && heartbreaking. That piqued my interest, thus she became one of my babies <3
