This pissed me off so much. We get to see the Benitoitian King be an asshat in Silvio’s route, but these interactions really drive it home.

It also broke my heart to see Silvio not even have a second to himself to mourn without someone not only trying to finesse him out of money, but ignoring the fact that he’s going through some heavy stuff at the moment:

i do unironically think the best artists of our generation are posting to get 20 notes and 3 reblogs btw. that fanfic with like 45 kudos is some of the best stuff ever written. those OCs you carry around have some of the richest backstories and worldbuilding someone has ever seen. please do not think that reaching only a few people when you post means your art isn't worth celebrating.

I havent finished the current ikepri event but it's making me think again about how Gilbert's life was.

We got this dude, struggling plenty as a child but trying to still keep a positive attitude. Outside of his room is his father, killing people on a whim. So much so that looking outside some windows to where the entrance is visible, is viscera at any given moment. His father will kill anywhere, and the castle itself is a hunting grounds if other members of his family so wish it. They attempt to poison each other, hire assassins on each other,kill each other, trap each other, etc for the throne. Daily(?)

And there's Gilbert, the youngest and weakest for various reasons. And at one of his weakest moments he's sent away with a promise it'll be fine, just to return to find the only people he trusted (sans Walter) are dead because of him. (Not 100%, but he's involved in it to a degree and of course he internalizes it as such)

And at that moment he caves into the violence the rest of his family had been committing. Blood on his hands, killing any other complicit family member aside from his father, because he's not strong enough yet.

And despite being the only remaining son left, despite climbing the ranks and establishing he's got some worth, his father and other nobles still try to kill him on a regular basis.

How can you get close to anyone in an environment like that. Everything had been taken away once before, and theres never a promise it cant be taken away again. We look at his actions in yhe current year of the game, and we're like "oh, he's obsessive again. At least he's learning?" But how often are we fully unpacking *why* he's so cagey with mc and her ability to be with others in obsidian.

The emperor stuff wasnt that long ago. It was about ten years before him and mc get back together, meanwhile how long do you think it took to weed out any other schemeing soldiers or others in the castle? Those with grudges against the royal family that would be fully willing to take it out on Gilbert? Those biding their time, pretending to be loyal to him? Do you think he could weed out every bit of corruption in ten years, including the outside forces as well? The rest of the noble families outside of the castle, who are still willing to be as cruel as the royal family was?

I feel like he's not getting enough credit for trying to be more rational given all the trauma he went through sometimes. I get swept up in the sillies and the romance that sometimes I forget the lengths he likely needs to go through to trust that she'll be safe doing xyz.

Not to mention all the OTHER trauma of the awful shit he's done, regardless on if it was for the betterment of the country or not. The trauma of his father praising him as a 'you really are my child!' At the last moment. The trauma of learning so many awful things from his father via unwillingly witnessing cruel acts. Jesus christ.

Testing out wooacry's products! I have wanted to try them out sometime ago and I was thinking of getting myself a keycharm of IkePri : D I was in mood for Yves because he really needs some love! ^^ Gonna update this once I get the actual product from wooacry :3 So maybe in a week or so! The ones I put here are only mock-ups o.o ( I would have wanted a pink tassel of Yves, but... that beige is fine.) If these turnout good I was thinking of doing more designs of IkePri suitors (and maybe some TWST charms too because...)!

I am here to help defeat the enemy known as Writer's Block!

Have been on a bit of a Silvio kick lately, so let's start with the Ex's to Lover's prompt: “you get one more date…one more chance"

Thank you Krys!! This probably didn't go as planned but this was fun to write. I appreciate the request and the help to combat my writers block!

You didn’t really ask to see him today. In fact, you distinctly remember looking at yourself in the mirror, begging for the opposite. Yet there Silvio sat before you, doing his best to avoid meeting your gaze.

It had been a few months since the two of you ended things- messily, blocked numbers after vague threats towards one another- and until this point you had managed to avoid each other. Stupidly, perhaps, you decided to venture back into an old date spot haunt. Silvio had never been fond of the place, so you had thought the cafe to be ‘SFS’ (Safe From Silvio).

But after just five minutes of settling down with your coffee, you heard a familiar jangle behind you. Initially you brushed it off to be paranoia, but sure enough, your gut proved to be right. Again.

Despite his bravado, he hadn’t mustered any to speak to you after sitting down. Refusing to look you in the eye, looking out the window as he lazily swirled his to-go coffee cup. You knew from experience that this meant he was working up the courage to say something, but honestly, did you feel like sitting around to hear it?

No.

“Listen, I’ve already wasted enough time with you, so unless you’re planning on giving me something I managed to leave at your place-”

Bristles. Immediately. At the mention of wasted endeavors, Silvio’s eyes flicked towards you in annoyance, face reddened as he took in a sharp breath, struggling to keep his voice in check.

“That ain’t-” He huffed as you moved your chair back to leave, reaching across the table to catch your wrist. Firm, but not harsh, “just wait a damn second.”

“I already told you-”

“Hell, woman, just…” He took in another sharp breath, “you get one more chance.”

You paused, quirking a brow, and he continued.

“You get one more date… One more chance.”

You stared. Openly. Mouth slightly agape as you processed his words.

You get a chance? You??

As it always was when Silvio, your hands acted out faster than your mind could process the swirl of emotions bubbling within you, and in a flash Silvio’s white shirt - too expensive for its own good -  was splashed tan. Luckily for him, you had ordered an iced drink today.

“What the hell-”

“I get another chance? After what YOU did to me?!”

“Not this again…”

“Yes, ‘this again’. The audacity of you to come in here like you’re the one hurt by all of this-”

“The hell -  I’m allowed!”

“And I’m ‘allowed’ to kick your-”

Unfortunately, this ‘exes to lovers’ arc requires more time to cook in the oven… much to the dismay of the other cafe goers.

I made the Ikevamp cast into women for my Wattpad, and I go in better details about it there but I kinda wished I did more with their clothes; also the reason why there's another drawing of Vlad is because I didn't like the previous concept I drew so I just redrew him entirely.

I feel like writing today, but I also feel like bashing my head in and doing papercrafts. Maybe I can find a ye old prompt generator and see how it goes. My sadness with not writing is turning into frustration. I tried to find a fic for a different fandom and got frustrated I couldnt find exactly what I wanted, and it reminded me why I write a smidge.

(The fics I found were fine and perfectly well written, I just wanted a very specific scenario and couldnt find it.)

....... that was not worth the money. I dont know what it is with these stories sometimes. Sometimes they're great, and other times its like "this is a walking cardboard cutout of this character."

It's 3k diamonds and first off, this tidbit?

This is the spiciest thing to happen in here. It does the "he pushed me onto the couch and then we spent the night in each other's embrace..." fade to black.

But hey, not everyone is into spice right? I went through this expecting bland spice and wanted fluff, and I was right about that i guess. But the fluff is just...rehashed.

He does make a sweet plan for her birthday, but mc sounds strange in this and gives me elbert vibes really. Gilbert spoils her as per usual, but like. Theres nothing. No depth or anything. Just him giving a lot of gifts and trying to make the day feel like its lasting forever through tricks casinos use. And its just. Shrugs. Thats it. Most event stories have more depth to them.

I mean he was nice??? But. Shrug?????? Im kinda glad I didnt read this on my bday day itself, actually, i would have been bummed being super excited and realizing I wasted 3k diamond on this instead of the current event.

Finally reading the gilbert bday story and. What is this background. Why is it so different than everything else in ikepri.

Entirely not the thing to focus on but this looks bad and almost like an avatar room bg with the style.
