I'm a full-time college student living in Lancaster, PA and soon moving to Philadelphia. I enjoy a good cup of coffee and locking myself in my room to play Grand Theft Auto for five hours straight. Sometimes I write things. I wrote a book called "American Zero", its kind of an anti-"Fight Club". I'm currently rewriting that. I'm also working on an urban fantasy of sorts, its like a cynical "Harry Potter"

On minimum wage..
I've dabbled in both ends of the political spectrum before I realized a year ago that politics are more or less a joke and my time would be spent much more wisely in other endeavors. That's not to say I'm no longer interested in politics, quite the contrary, I've just given up the on the idea that I, or any other one voter, can really make a difference. That being said, I still tend to come across as a little conservative and what I'm about to say will probably add fuel to that fire.
I'm 100% against minimum wage increases, but before you label me as a heartless bastard please allow me to elaborate. I don't believe that the free-market will magically solve all of our nation's problems, there's no denying that a large percentage of corporations are exploiting and mistreating their workforces. The average American is working more for less and that is not cool. However, sometimes we need disregard ethics and look at issues at a rational standpoint.
I understand that the working man wants more money, I understand that the times are tough, and I certainly understand that many families are barely getting by making $7.25. Regardless, what I feel a lot of people forget is that it is not the working man that is making jobs. Corporations are the foundation of our country, without them the prosperity that people associate with America would not exist. No matter how unethical these corporations may be the fact is that we need them or quite simply we would not have jobs. Many people argue that the corporations generate more than enough profit to raise their employees wages and honestly that is probably true, but the fact remains that is that if we force them to pay their employees more than they will simply hire less. Ultimately what we need is a reduction in the unemployment rate and then maybe we can start to fight for larger salaries (however, I think it would also be a good idea to stop bitching for more money and instead learn to cut luxuries and put what we are earning to better use).
just my thoughts.

Yggdrasil, the tree that held the universe together in Norse mythology. The idea of a Tree of Life has fascinated me since childhood. It's probably the one thing I would ever consider getting a tattoo of.

On blogging..
Remember Xanga? Yeah neither do I really, but apparently it was really cool 7 years ago. Then Myspace came and nobody cared about Xanga anymore. Then of course Facebook came and then Myspace kind of died off. I figured Facebook would have a good four or so years before kids moved on to the next thing. I guess the next thing is Tumblr. I'm not sure that I like it, it does kind of look cool but it's awfully clunky and I just spent 30 minutes trying to change my tagline. I must be getting old, I used to be good at such things.
On Facebook I tended to be sort of an ass. Frankly giving a bored, opinionated guy the access to 700 different peoples thoughts and beliefs is a recipe for disaster. I'd like to stay away from such things on Tumblr. I'm not saying I won't be an opinionated asshole, I'm still going to troll the hell out of people, however I'm going to try and stay away from attacking my friends and sticking it to people who deserve it (Politicians, Oprah, Paula Deen...). In addition to my typical rants, I'll also throw up some samples from my two books and maybe a short story or poem now and then. I'd also like to make a food blog that chronicles my search for America's best burrito.

WHAT IS YOUR EARLIEST HUMAN MEMORY?
Honestly, I'm not sure. I do remember getting bit by a spider at a neighbor's home at a very young age. It was very funny, imagine a two year old with an ear that's swollen up to 3 times its size.
