Shutdown Story

‪I’ve worked for the Federal government for almost 33 years (anniversary in March). I’ve been a loyal employee and I work my butt off every day. For the last several years, I’ve been required to do the same quality and amount of work with fewer resources. My job is currently being held hostage (over something the majority of Americans don’t want) by a domestic terrorist who has the nerve to call himself POTUS, and suggest that I do “odd jobs” until the shutdown is over.

Holidays 2018

My parents both died in 2015 - my father on September 22nd, my mom three months later in Christmas Eve. As you can imagine, this time of year is now hard for me. I miss them more and more every day. Take my advice - tell your loved ones that you love them. Talk to them every day. Don’t take anything for granted.
