Lucifer had been at his desk since returning from RAD when Diavolo approached him, asking for help with paperwork. Reluctantly agreeing, knowing Diavolo should handle it himself, he found himself amidst a pile of documents needing revision by tomorrow afternoon.

He had worked through half the stack, pausing only for dinner, bathroom breaks, or to scold his brothers. Well past midnight, an unusual exhaustion and a looming migraine plagued him. Rubbing his temples, he continued with his pen, suddenly feeling a chill down his spine—a feeling that drew him to check the kitchen. Perhaps Beel was sneaking another midnight snack? Ignoring his fatigue, he headed downstairs, intending to give Beel a piece of his mind.

Approaching the kitchen, an eerie silence surrounded him, broken only by faint huffs and whispers inside. “whatthefuckwhatthefuckwhatthefuck,” a voice muttered urgently.

“Mc, what are you doing here so late?” he called out sternly, eyes adjusting to find you huddled on the counter. “Why are perched on the counter?”

“I wanted water, but then that thing showed up behind me,” you whispered hastily. Lucifer followed your gaze, spotting a sizable rat staring from the floor.

“You're on the counter clutching a ladle because of a rat?”

“Where I come from, rats aren't this gargantuan!” you retorted, not amused by Lucifer’s playful tone. He smirked before scaring off the rat, earning a disbelieving look from you. Was he seriously letting it go? You swung your legs down as the creature scurried away. “Are you just letting it run off?”

“No, I’ll have Barbatos handle it,” he said matter-of-factly.

“Oh great, as if my suffrage wasn’t enough; now you're dragging poor Barb into it,” you hopped off the counter, grabbing your glass of water before turning to him. “Why did you come down here at this hour?” You checked the kitchen clock, realizing with a small gasp that it was 2 AM.

“To be honest, I felt compelled to come. It was... intriguing,” he explained, guiding you out of the kitchen and into the hall, his touch lingering on the small of your back.

“You so sensed I was in danger.”

“Sure I did,” he cracked a small smile, quickly glancing behind him—hoping you hadn’t caught his amusement at your less-than-hilarious joke that still managed to tickle him. “Almost like spidey-senses.”

“Spidey, what?"

You feel the rough patter of rain against your skin, each drop a cool kiss from the sky. Beneath you, the cold stone floor presses into your arms, its chill seeping into your skin. It's dark and chilly and... wait a minute, HUHH?? You were just in your room! How did you get here!? You lift your gaze to a small, dimly lit cottage, tendrils of smoke curling from its chimney into the twilight sky. Suddenly, an unseen force stirs within you, and you find yourself rising, your steps guided by an invisible hand toward the cottage. Each footfall feels dreamlike, as if your body moves with a will of its own, drawn irresistibly to the warm glow ahead. You open the door, enveloped by the warmth of the... LIBRARY?!? It's huge inside compared to outside, what kind of place is this??! "Yoo hoo! Welcome to my bookshop, I'm Jules. Have a seat!"

As for race, I am Mexican-American so on occasion I'll write a blurb or two with a reader who is Latin (mostly Mexican). I'll gladly write for amab reader and other races, just specify in your ask!

I will forever keep my inbox open cause I love to read everyone's requests, but that being said if I feel uncomfortable with any of the material in your request/ask I will ignore it. I'm all for experimenting and writing different kinks as well, but anything glorifying r@pe or pedophilia will be deleted and blocked!

please reblog this. i've talked about this twice before, but obviously not everyone has seen it. i am calling for anyone who writes fanfiction or posts about a certain game/show/universe in any connective manner to please, please- PLEASE, copy this memo below comprising links to supporting palestine, education on the situation in gaza, and a must-need for those who engage in TLOU tumblr; links regarding the creators (neil druckmann) zionism, and how the plot of tlou2 is based on the israeli occupation of palestine. i don't care if what you write seems "insignificant" or "small" in the grouping of larger fics. no. everything that is not related to palestine in any form NEEDS these links. because, when we stray away from reblogging, or writing up our own posts in support of palestine/sharing journalists stories/etc. even for a SINGLE piece of writing, we could be missing people who are unaware (which, shouldn't be the case atp, but..) and fucking especially because in these fandoms, fics are the most popular thing. not reblogs about palestine, unfortunately; there are so many fanfiction accounts who very clearly don't give a fuck about the whole situation, seeping in silence, posting fics during strikes, not taking accountability for it now, so on and so forth. please, for the love of all that is good- CALL THEM OUT! people gaining hundreds of notes, tens of reblogs, supportive comments on a post that completely disregards what is happening SO BOLDLY right now, should irk you. i swear, if i see one more fuckass "i didn't know!" apology from an author who is CONSTANTLY on tumblr, REGULARLY posting fanfiction, i'm going to fucking lose it. if you are on tumblr to begin with, being this active- you have time to reblog. actually, educating yourself and reblogging is way quicker than writing up fanfiction of any length. are you fucking kidding me? you are laughable. comical, not real, and i have nay an ounce of respect for you. ever. but besdies that; the memo. i want everyone to copy this, or make something similar. put this above your summaries, authors note, whatever comes before the writing. every post you make should link back to supporting palestine, cause you never know how many eyes it will reach. it could change a lot of things. on pc, i believe copying it completely will preserve the links, but i'm not sure if mobile will. again. do whatever you can to add it. don't be lazy. put this in ur masterlists/navigation too.

Lucifer OM! Crack Headcanons

These are a super late birthday present for Lucifer.

He watched the Twilight Saga. The whole thing for his enjoyment. At first glance, he looks like a person who has watched 365 Days or Fifty Shades of Grey, but he's a Twilight guy. In the beginning, he didn’t even want to watch it or associate himself with it cause his pride is so big, but when Asmo returned from the human world who watched the saga with Solomon he convinced Lucifer to watch it. Also, somewhere deep in his desk, he has every single book of it as well.

If you’ve watched the Twilight Saga and had a phase of it as well he will admire you, for being so open about your phase. If you haven’t watched the Twilight saga, watch it, so he doesn’t feel alone. (and also so Belphegor can’t bully him about it)

He’s not known for laughing a lot but if you’re making fun of his brothers and sprinkle in some Twilight references in the jokes at the dinner table he will laugh, snort, or even giggle.

Also, saying that he’s sparkling whenever he’s sweating will boost his ego by 100%

For all my “dumps spices into food” people, let me tell you, this man is PICKY with his spices, anything that is spicy and gets him to start panting is a no for him ESPECIALLY during dinners with other people. His pride people his pride.

He 100% wears socks to bed, and he has those beige grandpa slippers.

He thinks racism is childish and dumb. Unless Diavolo tells him he has to be nice to people like that he will definitely treat them like trash.

He definitely has a pet peeve of crumby fingers, like, if you love Takis or dump chamoy and salsas on your chips or popcorn and you just like your fingers. That’s a pet peeve of his, “why would you put your fingers in your mouth?” “cause it tastes good. Obviously. Why else?” He’s confused.

Controversial headcanon, but he doesn’t like anime. You can blame Leviathan for that mindset of his.

On the flip side, he LOVES capcut edits. And he would love to make some of his own, of Diavolo obviously, but he doesn’t know how to.

Those are all my lovely crack headcanons of Lucifer. These were all inspired by the voice messages I sent to my friend for Lucifer's birthday. Anyways Happy Late Birthday to Lucifer the one and only.
