it's not really true that the otakudom presented in the show is centered around incest. Kirino is a siscon, but Saori is a mecha fan and Kuroneko likes things in the vein of Boogiepop; of which, there really isn't a reason to take moral opposition towards
true. i guess i failed to take perspective into account: of course otakudom looks like a siscon club to the reader, the pov character hangs out with a siscon all the time.

im watching oreimo and i get it. i see why people are like this about it. there's something obviously special about it but it's also all wrong.
#this is a very good thread#I'll never forget when oreimo season 2 came out and ended because I was still just a kid right#but my friend on skype was so incredibly outraged that the incest was canon#so if you were wondering- the vibe was indeed dl enough for people to watch it not really expecting it#i still think it was a bit silly not to expect it on some level years later but season 1 and the ova handle the characters better than s2#like. significantly better
