Secret Sanders Summerbang: The Minibang With a Twist

MAY 1ST, 2023, TO SEPTEMBER 1ST, 2023 

OVERVIEW

Welcome, my dearest Anders fuckers and platonic lovers, to the Secret Sandersbang summer collaboration event! The goal of this event is to match authors and artists to create a project together in the spirit of teamwork and collaboration for our beloved Anders Dragonage. Every participant will submit one to three Anders ships ranked by preference. Writers and artists will then be matched by ships. Some writers will likely be doubled into teams of three (two writers and one artist), and preferences for this are indicated in the sign up sheet. Once matching has concluded, each team is responsible for creating an illustrated work together based on their match(es) to be posted at the end of the event. The word count minimum for writers is at 5000 words, and the minimum for artists is one fully rendered illustration. Anything more than this is welcome and encouraged. 

Teams have free reign over their works. There will be three check-ins by the mods: a concept check-in on June 1st and two progress check-ins on July 1st and August 1st. The submission deadline is August 21st. If you or your team are unable to make this deadline, please let a mod know at your earliest convenience.

FAQ

Teams are not required to stick to their matched pairing. If you and your partner get a stroke of inspiration for a different Anders pairing, just shoot the mods a message to let us know, then go wild! 

There is an option to indicate your willingness to take on pinch hits. Pinch hitters will be expected to produce their portion of a work quickly during the final month of the creation period, and may not necessarily be contributing to the concept design for their project. 

This event accepts all themes that fit under the category of Anders ships. If you are not comfortable with any particular themes, please list them in the DNW section of the signup form. If there are disagreements within your team, let the mods know asap so we can handle it to the best of our ability.
