So this happened more than three decades ago,two days before Christmas,a couple tied their vows as the priest pronounced them man and wife…
The event was so wonderful.Everyone was celebrating and the couple couldn’t be happier.Everything was totally perfect that day.
The long wait for the groom was over,since he’ll have the woman of his dreams for a lifetime.He could still remember travelling kilometers away just to visit his other half bringing gifts and foods in order to impress the family.Sometimes,whenever he comes walking past the road,a teenager would run in a hurry and shout,”The policeman is here!”
Since the bride lives in the countryside and the man’s from the city,everyone would wonder how did they met.During the 1970’s countrysides were already fond of celebrating feasts in their place annually.They met when the man went with his friends who happened to be the soundsmen,while the woman happened to be there just to have fun and dance.
When their eyes met,enchanting melodies began and sparksfly existed.At that very moment they both realized that they’ll end up with each other.
Many years passed and the journey of this couple wasn’t as smooth as everyone expected it to be.Their lives together were full of challenges,hardships,and melancholic events,but despite all that,they never ceased to be happy.They always find reasons to smile because they have each others back.
They were not perfect as individuals but they were perfect as a couple.They embraced their differences and understood each others weaknesses.They made sure no one is left behind.That’s how their unconditional love worked out.
Two partners should try
To be honest without being vicious
To be open without undermining
To be mutual without invading the other’s privacy
To be trusting without being blind
To be respectful without idolizing
To share without controlling
To love without possessing.

Everybody is busy finding the right love instead of finding the right person to love.It’s never an issue whether how one person met his or her other half,or whether they met at an early age or later age…When true love comes,either one has to grab it or regret it later.
If I were to idolize one lady,she would be the bride wearing an old fashioned white dress with her long black hair in the old photograph.I wanna have the same smile she had while walking down the aisle with her eyes gleaming with tears.All eyes on her as if she’s a queen.I wanted a guy who shows full efforts like how the groom travelled for his lady.I want the same love they had,or even more.I want the same joy in the future when the right time comes.

What are the various reasons for making DIY gifts?First of all,these are cheap compared to those things from malls,supermarkets,and boutiques.Today,shoppers can choose from thousands of products including stickers,stamps,papers,die cuts and pens,which open windows to creative opportunity(Editors of Memory Makers,2003,p.14).Second,it is eco-friendly.Reusing,reducing and recycling things like old magazines,shoe boxes,empty bottles and etc. should be exercised.Crafting can be really good for the soul-and it can also be extremely good for the planet.A project that uses materials that would otherwise be thrown away means that there is less dump in landfill sites and more to decorate your home.It is all about turning trash into treasures-so join the eco-craft revolution(Beatty & Warren,2012,p. 225).Third,it is the flexibility and convenience that makes DIY gifts more likeable.One can create it inside the house while watching t.v or while listening to music.Changing styles,patching-up mistakes and planning for more designs is possible.Customizing wouldn’t be that difficult.
Examples of DIY gift ideas are Jars of Love,Exploding Boxes,and Stylish Shirts.A Jar of Love can be a jar of candies,sticks or chocolates.Adding some letters and notes wouldn’t be bad to remind the person how much he/she means.A surprise box can be an exploding box wherein pasting pictures and memories would be easy.A movie box can be a shoe box wrapped in a colorful paper.Putting some coke in can,popcorns,and DVD tapes inside the box will make any movie lover smile.Another surprise box is a box of letters.Any card will do -it can be a poem,a song,or a personal message from the heart.Everyone starts with the belief that they are saving money when they begin to create their own cards.While this is definitely true in the long run,an initial investment must be made on tools and supplies.The real reason for making greeting cards is to fulfill ones own need to create something wonderful for someone special. Knowing this makes the time and effort a person put into a project more precious(Barker,2004,p. 11). Trying some shirt ideas is also fun like folding,dyeing or cutting.Folding is easy because all it needs is tucking the excess cloth and a little sew here and there.Dyeing is also enjoyable.Dyes are available in stores.Any color will do like blue,red or yellow.A rainbow color is fabulous depending on the taste of the person.
DIY gift ideas can be given in different occasions like Holidays.Christmases and New Years are included of course.Founding anniversaries,couple anniversaries,and wedding anniversaries aren’t exempted.Birthdays are very common so anyone will never get wrong with that.To whom can these DIY gifts be given?To everyone, of course! It can be given to family members,friends,close friends,best friends,classmates,teachers,etc.One must think about the style of the person he/she is planning to give a gift.Have they mentioned an item made that they love?What color and textures do they like?For instance,one might not want to make a hat for someone who never wears hat(Beach,2015).
