Good and evil : its true nature

HP Lovecraft was a famous horror story writer in the 19 the century. The stories he told were that of cosmic horror. Beyond the evil that human beings perpetuate on each other, a more sinister form of evil. His world was filled with monsters who lurked behind the fabric of reality. There was no god in his universe but there definitely was a devil. The underlying message was clear : there is something wrong with this world, the formidable darkness that encapsulates existence won't be solved by wiping out humanity. There are far more powerful beings at play, humans are insignificant dust. However one must remember that there were always humans who made use of such monsters : the heads of relegion.

They placed human beings at the centre being the anointed sons of the monsters. They told us that there was nothing wrong with the world because it was created by a benevolent God and that by leveraging God we can wipe out darkness : devil. In the writer Paulo Coelho's world God helps you to fulfill your dreams. There are no monsters underneath reality but rather monsters who you have yet not pleased. God and devil are two monsters, now choose who your' God' will be.

NEET 2024

True justice would have been administered if the toppers of the exam were given a retest. The exam saw a cohort of candidates who got a range of marks previously rarely attainable. Moreover it has been proved that leaks have happened in many centres in the country. The CBI investigation is ongoing, the Honourable Supreme Court has however instead of cancelling the exam altogether has decided to keep the tainted exam results alive. The reasoning is that if the exam is canceled then the lakhs of aspirants who gave the exam legitimately would be harmed. The arrests of those Cheated is being continued as we speak. The court has come to the conclusion that no large scale leakage has happened. It's more of a localized scam rather than a virus outbreak. However the cheating was spread allover India atleast North India. It could have been reasonably argued that there was a leak of significant size even though not widespread. It is unusual that the court is treating it as a small scam involving a few people when in reality the papers were leaked in such a scale that the average marks of the candidates increased. Therefore it is my humble submission that the court revise its decision. All students who got marks which were previously hard or rarely gotten must have a retest. Others should be left alone.

Rights of genuine toppers

When such a retest is given some genuine toppers would get lower marks .who is liable for all this Pain?

3) the coaching centers

4) union Of India

Conclusion

All of the above are responsible for the damage caused to these students, number 4 is ourselves, the citizen of this nation. all these students must be compensated for the wrong commited against them, including the genuine toppers .

John is sitting in the class. He is constantly tapping his feet.

We see Anna Washing her hair.

Then we see her tying it up.

She stops for a moment and looks at the tree

We see Anna staring at a tree with lot of leaves.

We see Anna looking up and she sees John walking by.

We see John sitting in the class, listening to class.

We also see Anna in the class a little away from where he is sitting.

John: I am fine, you? How is your studies lining up

Anna: hopefully, I will get a placement by the end of 4th year.

We see them both stop at the tree with leaves

John: good luck with your studies too.

We see both of them walking together

We see Maki and Endo as old people walking hand in hand.

We see a war field . We see people killing and getting killed.

We see a flower blooming into a fruits and and the fruit into a tree.

The tree being bombed by a fighter airplanes

Which transitions into a bunch for desperate army men looking at it like Jesus ‘S second coming.

We see stars and planets colliding into each other.

We see particles mixing to form babies

And that babies grown into humans who move in a crowd.

In that crowd we see Endo looking up

We again see that scene again of Maki and Endo laughing.

Endo(v. O) : I feel like if I have more moments like that I am changing the world.

Endo(v. O) : I am saving the world.

The sunlight falls on flowers

We see people playing jazz music.

We see animals and their babies

We see Mai and her man walking through the aile of a church.

Everyone in the church is overjoyed and clapping

Mai is speaking

Mai: I want to take this opportunity to thank my father and my mother who is responsible for everything that I am

Mai: they taught me the importance of being kind to others, being forgiving to others, to do everything in my power in my own way to reduce the pain i see in this world.

The music rises to a crescendo.

We are enveloped in a white light.

We see Roman with his child playing in the living room.

Roman: I figured out why Kai did not want his grandchildren near crime and violence.

Roman : what is the point of winning a war if you can't sleep in peace after words.

Roman : what is the point of ending suffering if it requires a million deaths

Omerta Chapter 5 Blue Darkness

We are inside a a train. The train is going somewhere.

Inside the compartment is Maki and Endo.

We see Endo looking at Maki as Maki looks outside the window.

Endo(v.o): I first heard about Maki a few years ago.

We see the courtesan house again.

We see water flowing in a river

We see the bright red sunset

Endo(v. O) : the highest rank courtesan of House Maya.

We see Maki dancing and customers watching.

Endo (v. O) : She was like the courteseans of the old. A beauty so talented that she did not have to show her skin.

Endo(v. O) : I later learned that this was what was expected of courtesans, but but somehow she had become the exception and not the rule.

We see Endo watching her dance in the flashback

Endo(v.o): I was starting out then, I heard from somebody that she had started working as a courtesans to pay for her little sisters medical expenses.

Endo(v.o) : when I heard that I suddenly remembered her. I had seen her before, infact for some period I saw her everyday. I went to work by bus during that time.

We see that flashback scene where both of them are in the bus, but this time it is from the perspective of Endo.

Maki is wearing a much simpler clothing

Endo(v. O) : I always saw a beautiful lady going to work everyday. I always thought she was enthusiastic. It was only when I heard that I realized it was her, Maki.

Endo(v. O) : she did not stop after her sister's hospital expenses were over. A customer challenged her idea that she could be successful without selling her body.

We see the bright blue of the water mix with the intense red of the setting sun to form the color purple and that purple transforms Into a radiant Maki in purple dress dancing.

We see the customers staring mesmerized.

Endo(v. O) : well the rest is history, she became the top Courtesan without the need for her body.

We see Endo and Maki walking through beautiful landscape.

They enter a quaint looking home

The house is well furnished like furnished as in fairy tales.

Infact the whole neighborhood looked like it was straight out of a fairytale.

Maki settles down on the sofa

Maki: oh this is good.

Endo: Remember that time you asked me what part of you I loved?

Endo :I was drawn to your sense of responsibility. The world changed when people took responsibility. Whenever I was in doubt I would remember your figure . Your stubborness, your grit. You are so beautiful

Endo closes in and grabs her face in his palms

Endo: During my bad days I was reminded of you and that gave me strength.

A single tear falls from Maki ‘ eyes

Maki kisses him.

Endo(v.o): what is my purpose here, yes I must reduce unnecessary suffering.

We see little Endo running through water at a beach

And a mother like figure watches him laughing.

We see Kai walking through his room

Kai: well Endo is dead. For all his talk about reducing suffering in this world, he is gone.

Micheal : what happens now?

Kai: same thing that has always happened, one person's don't change anything brother. We are back in business.

Kai: and as much as Endo was unique, there will be better versions of him.

Kai : life is afterall is just an endless cycle of disappointment.

We see Endo’s mother walking through the beach.

We see her getting on her knees and patting Endo’s head.

Seinna:listen to me Tatsuki, no matter how sad or how happy your reality is. But you should always have purpose. Without purpose your reality won't change.

Seinna : promise me that you will remember. Always try to reduce the suffering of this world. Always try to prevent cruelty. Heal people, promise you will remember that.

Endo : okay I promise.

We see him as a grown up by his Mom’s bed.

We see a gangster inside a shop extorting money.

Endo enters and slams his face on the table.

We see the shop owner thanking him.

We see Maki giving birth

We see his mother is outside.

Inside the hospital room we see Endo looking wonderstruck at his baby.

Through the window of room we see Sienna watching his son and his wife looking wonderstruck at their baby.

Sienna enters the room and pats Maki on her head.

And takes the baby in her arms.

Then there is darkness

From that darkness Roman emerges.

Roman pushes a button on the remote in his hand.

We see Kai sitting his room In a building.

Suddenly his phone rings, Kai picks up his phone

Roman: goodbye asshole

Kai: what the hell You can't disrespect your boss like that Roman

Kai: what do you want.

Suddenly the building that kai is sitting explodes and and starts crumbling.

Kai: wow an assassination.

Kai: I swear the young people today have no patience.

Roman : I am not aiming for your throne, with this I am starting the end of the Suzuki crime family.

Kai: oh

Roman: any last words?

Kai: curse you and your future generations

Roman: well I am marrying your daughter

We see Anna ‘s face.

Kai (v.o) : shit this is it for me, atleast Anna’s future is safe

Kai: well I take that back, listen, tell Anna that I did what I thought was right, but never let my grandson in the world of crime.

Roman is surprised

Roman: so your against crime?

Kai: if you think crime and violence will end by destroying the crime families, you are wrong.

Kai: Roman some part of my actions is wrong, but i can't put a finger on it. That's why I don't want my children there.

Kai: Try finding it out

Kai(v.o) : I think i understand now

The building collapses.

We see Roman walking hand in hand with Anna.

Roman: do you think what your father did was wrong.

Anna : well he always spoke about that reducing the suffering and other stuff.

Anna: but I don't think he actually belived in those things.

Roman: do you think the way adopted by The crime families are right?

Anna: No they are wrong, the initial idea is good.

Anna: everyone should work tirelessly to reduce the suffering of this world but the method they adapted is not my taste.

We see Kai and his associates engaging in violence.

Anna:I don't know, Roman ***you*** might frame it as Inefficient.

Anna: Yes the crime family idea is Inefficient. That is the right way to put it.

We see Seinna and a little girl playing in the beach.

We see Endo buying some ice cream.

And we see Maki taking photographs of Sienna and their child.

We flashback to Roman's phone call with Kai.

Roman looks a little troubled.

Jack is beside him.

Jack : sir shall we proceed.

Roman: yes

We see armoured police trucks surround many places.

And many people getting arrested by the police.

One of the detainees shout.

Detainee: do you know who we are?

The police officer kicks him.

Police officer : we know now who you truly are

Police officer : we got evidence right from your top brass that you assholes were engaged in human trafficking.

Detainee: but.

Police officer : we got videos , the primary thing that prevented the police from prosecuting you was the misplaced gratitude. Now we know your true colors , the age of crime families is over.

Detainee: but we never engaged in human trafficking.

Jack : that was very persusive evidence Roman, even though it is fake.

Jack : this was the only way of destroying the concept of crime families. To paint them as mindless criminals.

Roman : this was the only peaceful way, this charade is finally over.

Jack : what are you going to do now.

Roman: I am going to marry Anna and move far away

We see Anna and Roman in the present day continuing to walk hand in hand.

We see the old man of Highgate sitting

Old man: you want to fake your death.

Endo: I asked you if I can end Highgate.

Old man: and I told you can try to destroy it all you want, but Highgate is not limited to these buildings Machiners and human bodies.

Old Man: it is an idea a culture that has repeated through out human history. The Highgate is simply the human need to kill, to hunt.

Old Man : those ideas won't die out.

Old Man: but what are you planning to do, run away.

Endo looks at a distance

Endo: well In a sense you can say I am running away.

Old Man : let me remind you son, whatever you do the darkness of the world will still remain even after you and I die.

Endo : no I will make a difference.

Omerta Chapter 4 The Assault and The Home

We see small medival town, through the town we see the figure of Endo running through the buildings.

He has a gun like thing in his hand which he is shooting as he is running toward something.

A guard notices him. Suddenly Endo disappears from his view.

We see Endo on the walls, he jumps landing behind the guard. A knife manifests in his hand which he plunged into his neck.

Another guard in the distance cocks his gun at Endo from a distance.

Endo smiles, suddenly the building which guard is standing explodes.

As well as the adjacent buildings also explode.

We see endo running through the street as the bombs on the side of the buildings explode. The street explodes as he runs.

We see Jack in the Dawn building.

Jack: so your grand plan is to atack as a lone wolf.

Jack : you know you are skilled but you are no manga protagonist.

We see Endo with two knives slashing through the people.

One goes down. Endo rolls over as a guy with an axe drops a hit on him. He gives a forward kick to the stomach and jumps to his chest and brutally stabs him in the neck.

Then we see him stab through multiple people.

A few of them give him some work but all fall down in the end.

We see soliders flow into his way like a river. We see him ploughing through it.

Endo(v. O) : these people they only understand one way, one way to deal with them

Endo: (v.o) : showcase your strenght, move forward.

We see bodies falling and blood smearing on Endo’s face.

Jack ponders

Jack(v. O) : but is that right? To become a monster to fight monsters.

We see Endo still ploughing till in the end there is no one left standing.

We see gun to Endo’s head.

Endo is breathing hard.

Kisaki: you in my kingdom? What a way to make your entrance.

Kisaki :did the crime families finally adopt the way of Highgate, the right way that is.

Kisaki : strength is the only Benchmark for survival, not this necessary violence bullshit. What do you think Endo?

Endo : who knows, right now this absolute violence thing makes sense.

Endo ‘s voice is menacing

Endo : so I was thinking may be you are not fit for your throne.

Jack : wow you will become king?

Endo(v.o): there is no other way.

An old man appears from the shadows at the High Gate

Old man: that's right Endo But can you defeat us?, our best.

Kisaki gets in battle position.

Endo does the same.

We see Kisaki and Endo trading punchs.

Endo(v. O) : is this right?

Endo(v. O) : I know violence is the only way to deal with these people, but if I adapt this approach am I any different from the people I despise.

Kisaki jumps and drops a side kick on Endo’s face which sends him crashing into the floor.

Endo(v.o): no don't frame it like that Endo, this is necessary violence.

Kisaki tries to drive a knife through the fallen Endo’s stomach. Endo dodges and throws a jab which which Kisaki blocks with his hand.

Kisaki : you are questioning it are you? Your Morals and you are surprised at your own thoughts.

Endo :huh.

They talk as they trade blows.

Kisaki : we are all criminals in the eyes of most civilians. Atleast most civilians assume that what we do morally gray . But most criminals outside Highgate have resolved the moral dilemma they face one way or another.

We see Endo throwing a kick and kisaki cooly lands on the wall with his feet somehow sticking to the wall on which he landed.

Kisaki : the crime families resolve this dilemma with their necessary violence theory, which I need not explain. The idea that peace and prosperity can be found in the fine balance between violence and non violence.

Kisaki : what a load of bullshit.

We see a bunch of knives being thrown at him he dodges and lands on the ground. Simultaneously he picks up a rock on the ground and throws it at Endo at unbelievable speed.

Endo moves his head away quickly as he looks back Kisaki is suddenly in front of him and throws a heavy upper cut which throws him away.

Kisaki : Highgate resolves this through the Strength theory. That right and wrong is determined by our strength to carry them out.

Endo: I don't know what you are getting at here. But I am not you.

Endo wipes the blood of his face.

Kisaki :Huh but that doesn't diminish the fact that you are questioning your morals. I know you are because you just killed a hundred people.

Endo suddenly realizes something.

We see bodies of guards that had been victim to Endo’s knife attack.

We see the flashback of Endo mowing through hundreds of guards.

Kisaki : all that adrenaline is rushing in to your head. Your body has suddenly activated its oldest instinct, to kill, to hunt. Of course you are questioning your existence and way of life.

Kisaki : you just experienced what true strength can achieve, now you realize there was another way along

We see Maki dancing and Endo bowing down to Kai

Endo(v.o): shit I was wrong, this is different, this is not necessary violence, I am enjoying this. I must go back.

We see Maki again

Kisaki kicks him in the stomach and grabs him in a headlock.

Kisaki : you are realizing that none of that noble saving the world ideas really mattered. But more than that what is actually troubling you is the that terrible question, were you fighting and killing because you were trying to reduce the suffering of the world?,

We see Endo attacking and killing Jenki, we see him attack Silverline. We see him attacking Highgate. We focus on his face, yes there is a possibility that he was actually enjoying it.

Kisaki : or because you enjoyed fighting and killing.

Endo throws kisaki over his head and suddenly pulls out a gun.

People surrounding him also pull out their gun.

Kisaki laughs.

Kisaki : I cannot belive it you were genuinely under the belief that what you were doing all your life was right.

Kisaki voice is now menacing

Kisaki : let me tell you the truth, all this necessary violence is jut bullshit they use to cover up their true intent,

Kisaki : and that is to do what what they want with impunity.

We see Maki face on Endo ‘S face

We see the gun on the ground.

Endo: I don't know what is right, but I know one thing, I must get back.

Endo clenches his fist,

Endo:for that I must kill you.

Kisaki : that’s my boy.

Suddenly he is front of kisaki and plunges his face to the ground which breaks open the tiles.

Kisaki is not that easy to take down. He kicks endo which sends him flying.

Before Endo can recover kisaki sends down a barrage of punches. We can see the intensity of the punches have increased considerably.

Then we see Endo send punch to the solar plexus, which makes Kisaki go on the back foot.

He swipes Kisaki off his foot before Kisaki can grasp what bus happening a knife his lodged in his chest.

Endo drags the knife through his chest.

The onlookers watch on.

Kisaki is dead.

Endo stands there covered in blood.

The old man announces

Old Man: The Highgate has a new King, Tatsuki Endo.

Everyone bows.

We see Kai sitting in a room brooding.

Micheal : at this moment I am actually not surprised, I was pretty sure that Endo was going to pull something like this.

Kai :you know how many years it took me to just get their audience.

Kai : it was a long time after that I could enter into business arrangements with them.

Kai : I was expecting him, with his level of talent that he would reach the business arrangement stage with this one event.

Kai : that was my highest hope for him.

Kai : At least I hoped that Highgate would humble him, show how the world really works.

Kai: But to think he would be king, when did we teach young people such level of brutality that surpasses even Highgate.

Michael : Haven't you realized, we did not teach him these things and I don't think it's pure talent either. Talent can only take you so far.

Michael : this guy has a certain goal and an iron clad will. His conviction is so much stronger than the rest of us that he seems the exception and not the rule.

We see Maki sitting in her room.

Nora is standing there.

Maki : King of High Gate huh?

Maki : I hope you are still strong and know that I believe you even if no one does.

The old Madam enters

Madam : Maki, Endo has bought you off, you are no longer a courtesan.

Maki looks at her in surprise.

Madam : However as you know you can reject this offer, a transaction only works if both parties are in agreement. Moreover your time here is ending anyway.

Maki: I accept

The Madam smiles.

Madam: He told you to start packing things up

We see a girl running through the corridor.

We see Micheal getting off the phone.

The girl runs into Maki’ room

Maki looks up.

We see Missiles over Highgate.

We see people gathering over TV screens.

newsreporter : Today the World powers in a joint operation destroyed a terrorist organization called Highgate.

Michael : Kai, Endo is dead.

The girl starts crying as she hugs Maki

Girl : Maki Endo is dead.

Newsreporter : its Head Tatsuki Endo is confirmed dead. Intelligence agencies confirm that Highgate was behind Financing and facilitating international crimes such as human trafficking drug trade and terrorism.

Maki is emotionless.

Maki : leave me

We see the packed suitcases here and there.

The girl reluctantly leaves.

Maki: wow, you just reached here

Maki looks back

By the curtains we see Endo.

Endo: right in time for my death.

Endo hugs Maki and she is surprised.

Maki : at this point I am not even asking how you pulled it off. The explanation would be far too long and would just confirm my lingering feeling that our reality is constantly manipulated by few individuals.

Maki laughs

Endo : As the king of Highgate, I can do this much.

Endo hugs again. Maki is again surprised.

Endo : so much happened

We see the killing scenes at Highgate.

Maki: so is the Highgate over.

Endo : No, Highgate is not over, it will still be there. But this is the end of the road for me. I am no longer head of Highgate.

Endo :Also there is a software called Clean, I am wiped off every single database on earth, it is like I never existed.

Endo :if you come with me, you will be too. I mean if you want to come with me.

Maki pouts

Maki: you don't want me to come

Endo: no I want you to come, it's your choice.

Endo : its just, I just want to say I am still the same Endo that you know.

Maki’s face suddenly softens.

Maki:you big dummy, I know that.

Maki hugs Endo

Maki : I can feel the tightness in your chest, Endo.

Endo:let's escape this life and I will hear your worries till the end of time.

Endo: this tightness in your heart I will make it go away.

We see tears in Endo’ eyes.

We see immense in fighting in the town of Newline.

We see two kids running.

A mom calls out to them

Mom: you lot don't go out it's dangerous.

A jazz music picks up. By the side of the road, an old man starts playing the saxophone.

Luke points towards the sky.

The two kids look in wonder, but they don't stop running.

Luke: look Yura

Rockets burst like fireworks.

Yura : wow amazing.

We see Endo sitting inside the building.

Roman: so your grand plan to avoid responsibility was to kill the king and let them cause the collateral damage.

Endo : as if you would have opted for the second option, which was to attack the production units.

Roman : I wouldn't have taken up this job in the first place. Infact I am tired from all this gangster things anyway.

Endo : what do you mean you were born into the crime family.

Roman :say Endo why don't we abolish this crime family.

Endo: don't start talking crazy things in the middle of the night.

Roman :the families were established with the intention of preventing government monopoly on the use of violence. Because people understood that if a single entity had all the power in the would lead to abuse.

Roman : but now the structures that were created to establish peace has now became the cause of war.

Roman : Tell me, Tatsuki can't you see, it is not the existence of criminals that now warrant the existence of Families but rather we are criminals now.

Endo : you may be right, but there is no other alternative, you can say this is wrong and that is wrong but if you can't find a alternative to it, then there is no point talking.

We seem Roman getting up and leaving.

We see Jack emerge from the shadows.

Jack : so what is the plan, with regards to Dawn that is.

Endo leans back.

Jack : I think the only way to create peace is to create a monopoly.

Jack : with Dawn at the top.

Jack : now that Newline has fallen, the Silverline will take over Newline.

Jack :but we will take over Silverline as well.

Jack :thereby Dawn will have Monopoly over drug trade in Japan. Of course there will be trouble in the street, but not what we couldnt handle.

Endo sees an image of Maki dancing.

We see a lot of cogs turning in a machine.

Endo: that's is a good plan, but I have an even better one.

We see Newline burning.

We see it's residents outside.

Woman: some dude came and said that we need to evacuate and that God ‘S wrath is coming

We see a large camera crew in a place in town where suspiciously, there is no fire.

We see a old man come into the frame of the camera man

Old man: tremble in fear for this is the wrath of God.

We see Jack watching the same scene in the news

The old man speaks and the sound resonates

Jack : God damn!

Old man: think ponder, why and how did you brought this upon yourself.

The music rises to a crescendo.

We see shadows appearing in silver line.

There is a castle like structure there.

An young man sits in a bunker

We hear gunshots.

We see the man raise his gun towards the entrance of the bunker.

Oldman : for I tell you you bastards brought this upon yourselves.

Suddenly the bunker itself explodes.

Endo: uff, that was refreshing.

We see the men in army gear remove their masked masks.

One of them is Endo.

We see fire burning.

We see Endo with his hand on his head.

We see Maki dancing In her room

While dancing Maki speaks.

Maki : look I am no expert in solving world problems.

Maki: but I don't think it is expected of you to solve the drug problem yourself.

Endo looks up

Endo : then what is expected out of me.

Maki(inner voice) : well I am proud that you put a stop to drug production in Japan. It is just that I am surprised you asshole.

Maki continues dancing.

Maki :what did the boss say?

Endo : well apparently the boss was surprised as well. Apparently the government is putting pressure as well in addition to us.

Endo: the man said the Suzuki and the Japanese people are thankful of you.

Maki: why did you reject the marriage offer from Suzuki family.

Endo looks at Maki, again that stare that makes Maki feel on the edge.

Endo: what do you mean, I should have accepted?

Maki suddenly launches a flying at Endo.

Endo dodges.

Endo: are you trying to kill me woman.

Maki: don't play coy with me, why did you reject Anna, do you love me?

Endo throws a forward punch which Maki dodges

Endo suddenly pauses for moment breathing heavily.

Maki jumps at him and grabs him in a bear hug. Both fall on the floor.

Maki is on top of Endo looking into his eyes.

Endo: no its that we haven't done this before.

Maki(v. O) : the reason that I like you is beacause I saw you everyday on that bus.

We see a even younger Endo on the bus.

Maki(v. O) : going to work everyday, after school to help your mother. Whether it be hot or cold you will be there.

We see Maki staring into his eyes

Maki(v. O) : I was drawn to your sense of responsibility. The world changed when people take responsibility. During my bad days I was reminded of you and that gave me strength.

We see a young Maki looking at Endo.

Endo:you know…..

Endo: you know you didnt say if you loved me or not. Even if it's no, you can say it

Maki laughs. And so how that is beautifully surprising.

Endo looks glad, but is kind of embarrassed.

Maki notices

They both start laughing.

There is moonlight outside.

There is a light at the end of a tunnel.

From that light the figure of Kai emerges.

An old man named Michael is beside him.

Michael : well that was anticlimactic.

Kai: yeah tell me

Kai: I put him in charge of Dawn with the aim of humbling him, who knew he would actually solve the problem.

Micheal: what is going to happen now.

Kai: now is the time for glorious expansion, with Endo leading the charge as you know moving up is the only way forward.

We see Roman walking through a road, in luxury clothes.

Kai: I hear the exploits of Endo has grabbed the attention of the High Gate.

Kai: so I don't know, actually I am curious as to how Endo responds to High gate.

Kai: Absolute violence can destroy any idea, that is motto with which High Gate runs on.

We see Endo sitting in his room.

Jack gets off a call.

Jack : it is confirmed The High Gate has put a bounty on you.

Jack : the intention behind it is to meet you obviously.

Endo: The high Gate huh

We see images of large private armies and a young solider sitting atop a pile of Bodies.

Jack : I am curious why are they calling you out ? I know the drug mafia that we took down subscribed to many ideas used by High Gate, including absolute violence. But as far as I know High Gate does not have any finacial interest in Newline or silver line. Why are they after you.

Endo: it is conflict of ideologies Jack, The crime families belive in the philosophy that there is a need for necessary violence to maintain peace in this world. The ultimate objective for us is the reduction of unnecessary suffering. Violence is merely a tool to achieve that. If we adopted a strictly non violent approach we wouldn't be able to fight for our loved ones.

Endo:High gate is well, does not care about such philosophies, they think that a man's worth is determined by his strength. Life must be lived in such manner as to reduce weakness. If you can't protect yourself from absolute violence then you are not worth living. They live according to their on pleasure and displeasure not bowing down to anyone.

We see Presidents of nations, army general, film stars business men.

Endo(v. O) : they can do whatever they want, no law can't stop them, no people can elect them out, no press questions them.

Endo: why? Because none of the above can do anything in front absolute strength.

Endo: they are at the top of criminal hirearchy. To some extent they are right. But at the end of the day they are just mindless evil.

Endo:the reason they are calling me out. We'll thats just because they can. The crime families are alive because they deemed it to be. That is what they are thinking.

Jack : are they wrong?

We see the inferno that we see before

We see Ashfak his father Jacob, his Mother Sarah and his brother Tren.

We see a tiny Fathima running around the garden.

The Return Chapter 6.The Birth of Nation part 1.

We see a theater with everyone clapping.

The actors pause. The narrator speak.

Narrator : and so the tale of Joho and Modoru ends. A tale of darkness and light.

We focus on two seats with people.

Bella : I can't believe that they talk about our homeland after all these centuries.

Ashfak : I can't believe the fact I turned into a seat. I was a rose goddammit, a rose.

Bella :man I can't believe it we have been together for thousands and thousands of years.

Ashfak : yeah but it doesn't feel like it. When we were human our mortality gave us sense of urgency.

Bella : do you regret your life Ashfak?.

Ashfak : I don't know but I wished I focused on some things I hadn't bothered that time.

Ashfak :I avoided that sense of moratility when I was alive. I wish I lived each of my days as if it were my last.

General Gojo :what do you mean Park cut a deal.

General Gojo : He can't cut a deal, what the hell is happening.

Sein : Mr President, that man is a War criminal and now all of the sudden you are protecting him. Is this how USA operates.

President : listen Sein, don't throw that War criminal word around. Don't talk to me like an ignorant civilian. Based on the place even I have been called War criminal.

Shanti: it pained me a little you didn't have faith in me at that time. But I reconciled with it, Maybe it was the way things were supposed to go.

Park : do you think I was wrong?

Suddenly we are in vast space of darkness. We see two tiny particle floating.

Bella: wow that was surprising, we were alive for thousand years, thats it. I thought I was going to be immortal.

Ashfak : yeah in that thousand years I went from a rose to a seat and now we are truly dead.

Bella : we are going to meet our maker aren't we?

Ashfak : we are.

We see a million more particles join them. forming a white stream in the sky.

Ashfak : wait this is Dad, mom brother.

We see a flashes of people and Modoru, we see children and Married couples.

We see Bella with her family.

The Return Chapter 5 The Horizon At Midnight

We see a large number of Modoru common people walking relentlessly through the rubbles of a town.

We see an American news channel.

American Reporter : the conflict between Joho and Modoru took a dangerous turn yesterday when video emerged of Joho Military executing KYU while reportedly staging that KYU had escaped.

American Reporter : this has caused large scale protests in Joho with people asking if the primary intention of the government is to solve the conflict or keep it ongoing?

We see large group of people in Joho protesting.

American Reporter : Joho President has not made a statement. American foreign affairs military revealed that a large group of Modoru people comprising of men women and children are moving towards Joho.

We see aide1 watching something on his laptop.

Aide1 turns around.

Aide1 : call them, tell them its time.

We see the calm city of Joho. Suddenly missile warnings go off through the city.

In the city sky multiple rockets manifest.

They fall in front of kid, destroying everything.

The missiles continue to rain down.

The anti missile system of Joho seems to destory some of them.

But a large number of Rockets fall.

We see Sein staying down with his hands over his head.

Sein : what the hell is happening, how did they have the weapons to carry out a large scale attack like this

The bombs continue to fall and we see bodies strewn here and there.

Thousand years later.

We see a beautiful city. The people are walking happily and. We see couples kissing.

This is the city of Terui, formerly Joho and Modoru.

We see a couple of kids walking through the street

Jack : we were reading ancient history today in class and apparently Terui was called Joho and Modoru and they were in conflict over a piece of land.

Rachel : yeah I Remember hearing it and thought, its hilarious couldn't they just live together like this.

We focus on rose growing out of a concrete which is still there and beside it a plant. Both of them are still here.

We see Bombs and missiles being rained down.

President Ten is down in his bunker.

President Ten : what the hell is happening.

One of his aides call out

Yu: sir some group has hacked into our anti missile system.

We see the bunker shaking.

Yu : in addition to the rockets from outside our own missile system is now raining down on us.

We see a missile reaching a building.

Then we see the room in which Ten is there engulf in fire.

We see the destoryed city of Joho

We suddenly see Maria crying in the rubble.

A beat passes

She is holding on to her dead baby.

A beat passes

In front of her her husband and two of her children are dead, only one remains

Maria : my God my God.

A beat passes

We see Park sitting eating a sandwich watching TV.

On the news it is reading. Terrorists outfit RT0 attacks Joho and destroys the The city of Joho. President and his Cabinet is presumed to be dead.

Park laughs. Its is an evil laugh.

Park : finally!

Park : it is time to find common ground with your Modoru comrades.

Park : suffering is a great uniter of people.

We see platoon commander Peter with everything below his torso missing.

Peter : how did this turn out to be like this God.

Peter :didnt we suffer enough? Weren't our parents grand parents discriminated against.

Peter : why did you side with monsters oh god.

Peter :weren't we the Joho your people

We see him getting flashback of Bella.

Peter :no she is not correct . No no.

Suddenly a bomb explodes killing him too.

We see the large group of Modoru people gathering near the destroyed city.

We see one of them take the body of Ashfak and raise it over their head. Another guy takes up Bella’s body.

The man who took up the body is Kurin.

Kurin : I cannot belive that our saviour died for us.

One of the people look back at the destroyed city as, they leave with the bodies.

Jun: this is truly the end.

It is night a small light apears on the midnight horizon

The light near the midnight horizon expands into a new morning.

The light fall upon the ruins of the destroyed city of Joho.

Through brightly lit sky, two fighter Jets pass through.

Aide1 looks up.

Two fighter jets appear on the sky

Somebody yells

It's the Americans.

We see Aide1 running. Behinds him bombs drop. Breaking up the ground sending the debris flying and leaving many Modoru soliders dead.

We see Aide1 wake up.

He is breathing hard.

Aide1 : my god my god!

Aide1 : I survived, I was sure I was dead.

We see Park sitting at a table. He lights up a cigarette.

Park : sometimes I wonder if it wasn't better to leave our land and escape to someplace else. Somewhere more peaceful.

Park: sure it is our homeland. But comon one day it will become someone else's land. These people here are fools, they don't understand the consequences of war.

Park: my girlfriend understood the consequences and she tried to convince me to run away with her. She told me it wasn't about whether Joho was right or wrong. If we stay here, we would have to fight against them.

Park : and I would not like to be part of a war she said. Killing others, violence over a piece of land is not worth it.

We see a woman talking to Park

The woman : listen to me Park let's run away.

Park: but this is my home.

The woman : sure Park, tell me is this where you want your children to grow.?

Park : my children will be strong enough to deal with this.

The woman slaps.

The woman : you would do that with your children. You asshole your children aren't something to do your experiments on.

The woman : listen to me Park if we stay here would have to fight. Fighting does not sound terrifying right. But what fighting actually means is that we have to kill. Before long there won't be any difference between our oppressors and us. When one day after we win this war.we will look up and wonder was this all worth it.

The woman grabs Park’s face

The woman : Use your eyes Park I know you can see it, our victory in the end but can't you see the childhoods destoryed, the millions who died fighting over a piece of land.

The woman: is scaring, reducing your soul and the entire Modoru’s soul worth all this.

The woman hugs Park and starts crying.

We see Park sitting in the room

Park : of course all these ideas of hers seem radical to me then and I stayed back and she left. But of course she was right.

Park : but what is done is done. The war has ended.

We focus on the rose and the plant

The Return Chapter 4. The Dream of a Nation

We see Ashfak in a interrogation room.

He is having flashback.

We see bodies and corpses.

President Ten : what do you mean he is not fake agent of Modoru.

President Ten: this is like the oldest trick in the book. I was suspicious from the very beginning. This is guy is like a Trojan horse. He is here to mislead us.

General Gojo : That is the assumption in normal circumstances. But not this one.

President Ten looks on

General Gojo : we have multiple communications on the Modoru Military communication lines that KYU is Modoru Military enemy.

General Gojo : moreover the fact that they raised him on cross was seen by Modoru people. And it has angered Modoru them.

We see people at the refugee camp attacking Modoru Military.

General Gojo : infact all their refugee camps now do not have Modoru Military protection it's like they left.

Sein : are you kidding me, they are not simply leaving.

General Gosso : we also think they are not leaving, don't worry. What General Gojo is trying to say is that Inspite of the widespread public backlash, Modoru Military has not come out clarify.

General Gojo : we apprehended a Modoru solider and tortured him to death, but he still said that Modoru Military is against KYU.

Everyone in the room is shocked.

President Ten : what does this KYU say?

General Gojo : first of all he says his name is Ashfak. He is adamant that Park is the real enemy.

President Ten : Park is not dead?.

General Gojo : according to him, he is not. Moreover he claimed that Park did not like the fact Ashfak was the KYU and not him.

General Gojo : He claimed responsibility for the Attacks on 25th.

President Ten : wait this is good.

There is darkness. In that darkness light emerges like flame.

We see Ashfak in front of a press conference. There is a lot of people and lights.

Sein : Mr Ashfak please tell what happened to you in Modoru.

Ashfak speaks

We see a thousand people around the world and Joho and Modoru watching.

Park : this is time I won't be coming back kid.

We see Park walking through the rubble.

We see a flame spread into a wildfire.

Ashfak : I don't what transpired but I was deemed as KYU by Modoru Supreme Leader Park. He tortured me and put me on a cross.

Ashfak : I watched my whole town get wiped out. I don't care about KYU and I don't believe in the prophecy but one thing I can tell you as fellow Modoru, Park is not your ally.

Ashfak : He admitted to me that he knew an extermination was coming. He created this tragedy and this mess. I don't want anything I jut want this to stop. I want peace.

Sein : okay that's enough.

We see Park smoking. We see the a modoru kid dropping to his knees and praying.

Kid:all powerful God please please save KYU.

We see Anna and Maria signing a piece of paper with others.

We see Maria walking back to her home.

She purchases groceries and other stuff from the market.

They are heavy but we see Maria carrying them, moving forward.

We see at her home.

She is hugging her baby lovingly.

We see her watching you tube videos of cooking channels.

We see her cutting vegetables and breaking a sweat.

We see her children gathering around her and hugging her as she sat in a bed.

We see her serving the food to her children and her husband.

We see Bella running through the ruins of a town

We see president Ten on the television.

President Ten : Park has issued a statement that he is not on the side of KYU. He wants complete and utter destruction of Joho.

President Ten : I advice Supreme leader Park to realize that he is slowly loosing his sway over his people. The people of Modoru wants peace and You brought a war to them.

President Ten : Surrender now, your own army has abandoned you.

Park : what the hell is this asshole talking about.

The voice of Ten is cut off.

Park starts off walking in a direction. He is alone.

Park : I remember this land before you people invaded this place. I remember my father and his wife who couldn't speak . My mother.

Park: it is said that nature selects the strong and only strong survive to the next generation. In my life I have only seen that principle validated.

Park : all weak people die and their bloodline does not pass through. Nobody willingly want to marry a dumb woman. Infact My mother's father was surprised that man of my father's stature wanted someone like my mother.

We see Bella running. In the ruins of a town we see a helmet with Press written on it.

Park : all weaknesses is weeded out by nature. Yet I saw in my father something amazing. He fought against that very nature. He married my mother. My mother's blood runs through my veins.

We see Park going down on his knees

Park: Perhaps even the all powerful nature bends in front of love. The son of a dumb woman has become the greatest politician of his generation. Her voice which could not be heard in her lifetime will pass on through her children.

Park : I have become your dream mom dad. He looks up.

We see Bella picking up the press helmet

We see Bella running.

We see her approaching a big wall.

But before she can get close we see army men of Joho releasing someone from Joho. It is KYU.

Bella stops,

Bella : what the hell?

General Gojo : what do you mean release him.

President Ten :why are you surprised General Gojo.

General Gojo: That guy is the most dangerous person on this planet. If we release him, he will gather around a group of people that is far more dangerous than the current Modoru Military.

General Gojo : can't you see, he is a God.

President: exactly he is a God. Which means he is the hope of a people. To break hope we must kill a God.

We see people gathering around a fire in a building.

Citezen1: this was where KYU was held.

Citezen2:what happened?.

Citezen1 :some Modoru people helped him escape.

Citezen2: what?! he is gone?.

We see Ashfak being told to walk at gun point.

Bella: wait

Bella runs forward from the darkness.

Soldiers :Huh.

Bella : I have already sent the video of this whole show.

A senior looking officer looks at her

Senior officer : then you can die too

Bella : sure go ahead, this is live too. Motioning to the small camera on her chest.

They shoot both Bella and Ashfak. They fall into the ground.

Aide1 : what the KYU is dead.

Tenson is looking at the computer where we see the solders shooting KYU and then Bella.

Aide1: leak it to the Joho media.

We see a group of Modoru people marching towards something. there is women and children there.sll of them look angry

We see families in Joho watch the video in shock.

We see a wildfire. In the midst of it two pairs of feet manifest.

It is Bella and Ashfak.

Bella: damn did I just die.

Ashfak : finally some peace.

The fires have died down.

Bella: I really wanted to have children after what happened.

Ashfak : are you talking to me?

Bella : you seem awfully calm that your life has been cut short.

Ashfak : no listen all of them are here. My dad and mom.

We see them be silent for a moment and then their bodies break apart like a paper being shred.

We see these shreds of particles move through the darkness.

Towards some blackhole.

They get sucked into it.

A beat passes.

We see a rose growing out concrete and a small plant beside it.

We see the soil, the trees, flowers amidst the ruins.

We focus on the rose and the plant.

The Return Chapter 3 The New Wave

Ashfak moves through the destroyed town.

A person calls out to him.

Sinan: oye oye?

Ashfak turns around

Sinan: what are you doing here all of the survivors have left to south.

Ashfak looks drunk.

Sinan: how did you even survive bombings?

Sinan(v. O) : let alone that how the hell did you survive here , where there is no food and water.

We cut to a hospital complex.

This is T-11 Hospital complex . Modoru refugee camp.

Inside there are noises of people.

We see some people eating food

Some doctors treating some people lying on the floor.

Some kids laughing and playing with toys.

We see a truck with a red cross sign pull up.

The truck door opens and volunteers wearing that same red cross sign pulling out supplies from the truck.

An old man who was over seeing the whole process, remarks to one of red cross people

Old man: thank you for your help.

We see Sinan pull Ashfak closer.

Suddenly there is sudden outburst of noises in the hospital.

The old man is surprised and walks back to see what the commotion is about.

The children stop playing.

And the doctors look up

We see everyone gathered at the large screen in the big hall.

In the screen is Seraph.

There is whispers

It's seraph it's seraph

Seraph : yes, don't be surprised or scared. A saviour is coming. A young man who has seen a thousand deaths. Who will be put through intense suffering will emerge.He will be called KYU( pronounced kyu).

Seraph : He will carry the wounds of our people in his body and bring salvation to our people.

Cut to a large building that looks clandestine. There is a a small group of people there. They are getting a large number of phone calls.

This is Senso. Joho intelligence agency

Sensoagent1: who is this KYU, we never got any information on this.

We see a Joho news reporter in TV.

We see a group of Joho military men watching the newsreporter speak.

Among them is platoon commander Peter.

The newsreporter :the head of the Modoru religion made an abrupt announcement this morning, that a saviour will arise to save Modoru.

newsreporter : The head of Modoru religion holds a considerable sway over the Modoru people and was presumed to dead.His sudden appearance has surprised many.

We see Ashfak walking through the rubble with Sinan

We see Park sitting on top of a destoryed clock tower.

A military general looking guy walks through the destoryed town with Aide1

General Deku:you mean to say the Supreme leader is simply walking through the town with no security.

Aide1:I mean-

General Deku : He is supposed to be in the bunker. He is our last remaining hope.

General Deku suddenly looks up. On top of the destoryed Clock tower Park is sitting.

General Deku : you got to be kidding me.

Aide 1: sir I Will tell -

General Deku : no you listen to me, I am leaving this place right now. You tell him that his trust on his own intelligence is overwhelming and inhuman.

A beat passes

General Deku : tell him that I pray that his intelligence does not become his downfall.

We see Park walking down the stairs.

Park : let's even assume That he can actually revive the dead, I don't want a messiah like that.

Park goes through the list.

Park : wait a minute, who is this Ashfak.?

Park : He came from Terui? But there was no survivers there

Park : His eyes look dead and he doesn't seem to care for the fact that a entire town was wiped out in front of him.

Park looks up from reading.

Park smiles devilishly

Park : oh this is good.

We see Bella sitting with group of people. The place looks crowded.

This is Tensho refugee camp

Reize : this saviour would save us right

Bella is listening.

Bella stands up and walks through the hall

Everyone is whispering

Inside Bella ‘S mind the words of platoon commander Peter ring.

Peter(flashback) :If your children avenge their parents, then I will accept that what we did here is wrong

We see Bella continuing her walk.

President Ten : how the hell are we taking more casualties suddenly?

General Gosso : it is not much of a concern Mr President, they implemented new tactic.

General Gosso: they are giving terminal patients and old people bombs to act as suicide bombers. The casualties were caused due to the unfamiliarity with the new tactic.

General Gosso : But our soldiers have already adapted to it, so it won't be a problem again. However the concerning thing is that many of these suicide bombers seem to have taken up the job voluntarily.

A beat passes

President Ten : I have recieved the report from Senso, The supposed saviour KYU has already been captured by the Modoru Military and is now being subject to torture.

Ren : what?! who is it.

General Gojo: the identity is unknown, but the intelligence provided by Senso is ironclad. The Modoru Military has already captured him. However the fact that he is being tortured is at the present being hidden from Modoru public.

Minster Shanon: do they believe that KYU isn't on their side?

General Gojo : it is unknown what Modoru military sees in him. The situation is constantly developing. Everyone including our military and Senso is watching this KYU prophecy.

General Gojo: what is undeniable is that KYU whether fictional or real holds sway over the common Modoru people.

We see Bella outside the refugee complex.

A huge number of people are outside, chanting towards the sky

The KYU chants become deafening.

President Ten : what about their Supreme leader Park. He is dead right?

General Gojo : I think for all practical purposes he is dead. After all we wiped out every Modoru military town. Moreover if he was alive he would have made a move by now.

Sein : I remember seeing him at a conference a few years ago. He was referred to by the American foreign minster as The Problem. That man is weird. It is good that he is gone.

We see Park smoking alone amidst the a group of people.

Aide2: sir we have relayed the message that KYU has been captured and is now being subjected to torture on all our frontline communication lines. Which means that the Senso has already detected it.

Park:how much time before it reaches the common people?

Aide1: I think a day or two? Do you want me to tell the commanders to restrict the message?

Park : no they won't listen to me this time kid

Aide1 looks confused for a second.

We see Bella looking astonished as the KYU chants enter an even higher crescendo.

Park : a wave is coming. Larger than this place has ever seen. We can only hope to ride it.

Bella : All these people will die for this KYU guy.

Bella: is this it?!

Park : a new generation of believers is being indoctrinated as we speak kid

We see a few people bringing in Ashfak into the room where Park is sitting.

Park : this is the birth of a new age

Park for a second looks like a kid who got a toy.

We see Ashfak walking in. The people gathered around move away.

He notices Park sitting there

Ashfak (v. O) : what the hell is happening?

Ashfak (v. O) : isn't that the head of the Modoru Military, the Supreme leader Park.

Ashfak : you killed my family.

Park looks up

Park(v. O) : whoa this Kid is good. Using him will be much easier than expected.

He waves his hand and all but 4 people leave the room.

The four people look like guards.

Park :yes I killed them, not only your family, but every family that has now being killed was killed and will be killed was caused by my action.

Aide1 : no you shouldn't say stuff like that.

Park is angry

Park : you have not grown enough to interrupt me, you arrogant bastard.

Aide1 backs down.

Aide1(v. O) : you shouldn't say stuff like that even if it is for manipulation.

Park calms down.

Park : where was I? Yes I killed them. Infact many among our people argue that when I ordered that bombing on Joho on 25th Dec I did not know it would turn out like this.

Park : I mean who can blame them, for the all the crimes that the people of Joho have committed upon us for decades , our people would have thought that this was the least I could do.

Park : but as we all know common people whether it be in Joho or Modoru are stupid. The truth is that I knew that I was bringing forth an extermination when I ordered the Dec 25 attacks. The greatest lie, Mr Ashfak that politicians sold to their subjects is that a single person can't change the destiny of a people.

Park : for I tell you despite what anyone says, I am the one who created these circumstances.I alone.

Ashfak tries to throw a punch but as if preempting it Park punches him in the stomach.

Ashfak falls down.

Park : nice hah hah , now the torture of KYU has actually begun.

Ashfak : I watched an entire town full of people get bombed into bits

Ashfak looks up he is angry.

Park looks down at him

Park : don't look at me like that kid, I only did it because only I was capable of doing it . In this whole world only one person could bring forth the extermination of Modoru and that was not President Ten or God but me!.

Park : that's too much power not to use.

Ashfak tries to swing at him.

Ashfak : so you are the enemy

Park starts punching him suddenly. We see Aide1 motioning him to stop. But Park is continuously punching. We can hear Ashfak’ s screams.

Then he stops.

Ashfak now bloodied looks up.

Park : we are going to make a message out of you my boy. There is no KYU. Or rather KYU is non other Than Modoru ‘s supreme leader Park.

He grabs Ashfak’s throat

Park : remember that.

Park : take him.

We see them dragging him away.

We see a group of Joho soldiers walking forward as if in patrol. One of them notices something in the direction. He goes back to call his comrades

Solider1: Hey look there.

All of them look in shock at a distance.

A cross has been erected in the middle of the ruins.

The cross is covered with cloth, making the body hanging in it invisible.

One of soldiers pull of the cloth. All of them take a step back.

Solider 1: what the hell?!

We see a bloodied Ashfak lying on the cross.

Park is in the back of a van.

Aide1: the Joho have found him.

Park is silent.

Aide1 : the idea of anonymously leaking the clip of them discovering KYU was great idea.

Aide1: its probably playing in every TV in Joho and the world.

We see a family watching the news.

In it it we see the clip of KYU hanging on the cross. Everyone looks shocked.

The Return Chapter 2 Extermination and The Prophecy

We see two solders walking casually through a destoryed town.

They both carry guns around their shoulder.

Kevin : you know that movie by Quentin Tarantino called, what was it.?

James : which one?, damn it, what was the name?, it had a black and a white guy in it right?

Kevin : yeah exactly, I got it, it was called pulp fiction.

James : yeah what from it?

Kevin :you know how they talk about how Burgers taste different in America and in Paris.

We hear a shrill scream in the background. It sounds that of child.

Both James and Kevin Pause for a second. They look at the direction of the scream and walks towards it.

James : yeah I remember what about it?

James and Kevin start removing the rubble in front of them.

Kevin : I was thinking, how this burgers as a concept is overrated.

James : yeah right

Kevin : none of that shit that Americans say are delicious are as delicious as they say to be.

Both of them remove the rocks. And there we see a girl child.

Child: Help?

Kevin shoots at her, killing her instantly.

James and Kevin continue walking as if nothing had happened.

Kevin : I mean nothing beats our traditional food.

Kevin : there is something special in it.

Bella (v. O) : this is genocide. They are killing women and children.

We see a woman wearing a helmet with the word ‘press ‘ written on it. She is talking to the camera.

Bella: an entire generation of children have been killed. They say they are killing the suppose Modoru generals and military men. But that is a lie.

We hears gunshots and then an explosion. The we hear the camera falling and there is blackout.

The darkness slowly parts as Bella opens hers eyes.

We see the town that is standing is burning.

A pair of boots show up.

Voice : oh you still alive?

We hear the gun cocking.

Bella : remember me, I curse you and your descendents to eternal hellfire.

Another voice calls out.

Platoon commander Peter: Hell fire? Huh

Bella looks up to see a senior officer.

Peter : my great grandfather was tortured and killed, his entire family burned in front of him.

Peter : why!? Because we looked different,

Peter : or maybe because people simply liked to kill certain people during certain times.

Peter: my grandfather escaped and now I am here. Don't threaten us with hellfire pathetic Modoru, we are the revenant.

Peter : we have already been through hellfire.

Bella: no you have not!

Bella : your great grandfather would be rolling in his grave seeing what you are doing.

Bella : your hellfire is coming

Peter laughs

Peter : only the truth wins.

He cocks the gun at her.

Bella: really what if everyone is dead, then only your lie would remain right,

Peter laughs

Peter : you still think justice and truth is on your side eh?

Peter : then, I will give you this, I will not kill you here. Survive. Bring forth another generation of monsters from your womb. If your children avenge their parents, then I will accept that what we did here is wrong.

Bella looks at him as if dumbfounded.

Perter turns

Peter : no survivers here.

Let's move out.

We see a walled city. The roads are good. And there are people walking there. We hear children laughing

We cut to a table where a family of grandparents mother father and 2 kids are happily eating breakfast.

Through the window we see the city.

This the city of Joho.

We hear the news from the TV.

Newsreporter : The Joho defense forces have captured more areas under Modoru terrorist occupation. Many generals of Modoru were killed.

We see footage of President Ten

President Ten : we are making steady progress. We will not be stopped.

President Ten : if anyone questions our actions, they are not standing for those who suffered from the unprovoked attacks by Modoru on Dec 25 th.

We see ruins and bodies

President Ten : this is justice, not genocide.

We see the mother of the family washing up the plates.

Mother: see ya.

We see the mother leaving the house .

The family replies : see ya

We see the mother whose name is Maria walking hurriedly down the road

Anna (in the background) : Maria

Maria looks back

Maria : Anna

Anna:both of us are late, let's go.

They both walk quickly.

They arrive at place and there is a a small crowd of women of their age and a man is speaking

Man: so I thank you for your work. You take time out of your lives to make bread for our sons husbands and brothers who are now fighting for our great nation

Man :may God bless you all.

We see the mothers making bread , packing it and the breads rocking in the back of the truck.

Then we see military men eating it.

We see Kevin and James eating it

Both of them eat with satisfaction

Kevin : this is what I am talking about.

We see an old man with heavy priestly robes sitting In a room. His eyes are closed. In the room there are two young men.

They seem to be in a bunker. As we hear gunshots and bombs dropping above.

Suddenly the old man whose name is Seraph opens his eyes.

Seraph : you kids, listen to me

Both young men turns towards Seraph. They look surprised by the fact that he is talking.

Seraph : call him, call your leader, I have something to talk to him

One of the young men makes haste,

Young man #1: yes yes

He moves out of the bunker.

Seraph : it is time for the world of the future.

One of the young men is in bunker looking at someone or something.

We see what the young man is looking.

He is looking at an old man. But he looks more like a retired military strategist or general more than anything. His name is Park.

Park : Huh, The head of our religion needs to see me.

One of his aides is talking.

Aides1: sir leave this, we are facing an outright extermination

Aides1: what are we going to do sir.

Park : man it is being boring lately. My Brain

Aides1: the only reason we, or rather you the Supreme leader of our region survived is because the Joho army destoryed this place and somehow did not find you.

Park : my brain has not been stimulated lately. Maybe I should go and meet this old man.. Maybe we can see some breakthrough.

We see Park getting up and walking towards the door of the bunker with the aide and the young man.

Aide1: it is really a miracle that we managed to survive. I mean your hold over God is showing maybe.

Aide1: but even you have to admit this is shitshow  at the least.

Park : what is life but to find what is said to be fascinating in reality

Aide1: all of our top brass was like wiped out. These monsters, they are not aiming for self defense. Can't you see, they are using our attack as an excuse to wipe us out of the planet.

Park : what I need is a story.

The three of them are out of the bunker and walking on the rubbles of a destoryed town.

Park is walking like he is walking through a playground.

Aide1: you know when you planned that bombing on 25th December, did you expect this. No right? Or wait a minute, did you?

Park : a story is necessary for engraving our names into history, for a good life, for everything.

Park : what is my role, what is my role.

He raises his hands up to the sky as if asking God.

Aide1 : I remember what you said, we are in a stalemate. There is no movement. No friction. We need something. Something to move things. That is what you said.

Park  and the other two  people enter the bunker. Inside the bunker we see Seraph

Park: Seraph you old fool, bring me something good.

Seraph : you created this mess, Park. You brought forth this extermination.

Park : my choices alone doesn't determine the future Seraph. Everyone choices precipitated this situation. One can only hope that their attempt to change the world comes to fruition. But the truth is that the future which will come is ultimately shaped by the choices of all the people.

Park : in this situation, that would be The Modoru and Joho people.

Seraph : you are talkative as ever Park

Park : don't waste my time Seraph, why have you called me.

Seraph : I had a revelation from God.

Park looks on without saying anything.

Seraph : the circumstances have created a situation where God’s hand has to be called out. A prophet will emerge from our midst.

Park (inner voice) :oh this is good, I cannot believe the situation detoriated to such an extent that ‘messianic ‘ figure will emerge. Oh man I am getting the chills.

Seraph : a man who has seen a thousand deaths will emerge. He will be subject to torture. But in the end he will reestablish peace between Joho and Modoru.

Park : oh this is good Seraph this is too good.

Park turned around to walk out.

Seraph : you know people of this age would be sceptical of prophecies and such.

Park : but I am a politician Seraph. I know it is a land crying for help when random old people start believing a messiah is coming to save them.

Seraph : what are you saying?

Park : What I am saying is that the your messiah will surely come.

Telephone Tale chapter 2 :Curse

We see both Kafka and kaguya and granpa standing in the classroom.

Both kaguya and Kafka look at granpa in surprise.

Kafka : what the hell are you talking about granpa?

Granpa: listen it is both your parents decision.

Kaguya suddenly gets a phonecall.

Kaguya : it is dad.

We see kaguya going to attend the call.

Kafka : what is going on granpa?

Granpa :wait till kaguya comes back.

We see kaguya coming back to the hall.

Kaguya : Dad said to listen calmly to what granpa has to say, it is both of our parents decisions.

Granpa : okay listen to me

Granpa : there is a curse running through kaguya’ family. It arises from the fact that a certain princess kaguya (ancestor of our kaguya) denying an emperor her hand in marriage. This denial turned out to be a curse which ran through the family.it appears Every 10th generation. It was only found to be the curse that was created form that denial only during its last appearance.

Kaguya : what does the curse do.

Granpa : it results in the violent death of the first born child.

Granpa: last time the line was continued by means of adoption. Fortunately the curse does not affect adopted children.

Kaguya and Kafka who are visibly shocked

Kaguya : that is good.

Granpa : this is where Kafka comes in. As you know our family also has a curse.

Kafka : oh that one.

Granpa :our family has the curse of being too family oriented. Well in a sense.

Kaguya : family oriented? How is that a curse

Kafka : exactly right? The word curse has negative connotation.

Granpa : well this curse originated when certain ancestor of our family denied to go to war on behalf of his country. He belived that war only leads to pain and that his wife needed him to stay at home rather than fight a pointless war and die.

Granpa: He theorized that only a few things are worth dying for.

Kafka :He carved that into a stone tablet that is still placed at home.

Granpa: however this denial, also invited the curse that if there is a person who relentlessly pursue his dreams in the expense of family life. Both his family and his dreams would be lost.

Granpa : for generations people of our family has strived for a delicate balance between two, family and dreams

Granpa : but as we all know there are some dreams and dreamers for whom conventional family life is not possible. Granpa pauses for a moment as if remembering something.

Granpa : kaguya ‘s curse starts from this January onwards.

Kaguya : this is October. But wait a minute I won't be married and won't have children atleast for the next 10 years.

Kaguya : Iam only 20 now.

Granpa:only a curse can nullify a curse. Through the process of marriage, both of your destines are tied together. Both of you become one. Kaguya’s curse will be nullified.

Granpa : you can either take up this burden and end the curse for all generations to come Kaguya or you can adopt a child and the curse would continue

They both look at each other.

Kafka :you mean we have to both get married.

Granpa : I know you guys are just good friends.

Kafka : from this morning we are more than friends

Kaguya turns towards him as he says this

Kafka :but isn't this moving too fast.

Granpa : whether it will be cured? I don't know about that, but it is possible. One thing I can assure you though.

Granpa : I too carry the curse Kafka has, which means even if this arrangement may not give any advantage to him, it certainly won't hurt him.

Kafka looks at his Granpa

Kafka remembers Granpa’s words

Granpa (v. O) : don't close your eyes Kafka, don't close it.

Kafka sees in his mind kaguya sitting in classroom. Kaguya confessing. Kaguya giving birth.

Kafka( v. O) :see what others can't see Kafka.

Kafka : I have decided, I would marry Kaguya and protect her. I mean

Kafka turns to her

Kafka : I mean if your willing to accept me.

Kafka ( inner voice) : she has little to no choice in the matter. Knowing her she would accept this arrangement

Kaguya looks at him

Kaguya : yes yes I accept. I already intended to marry you when I confessed.

Both of them look at each other as if they were surprised by what was said by Kaguya.

# Omerta Chapter 2: New Empire part 1

There is a collective whisper around the room.

Even Anna looks at his father.

Kai : yes that would be appropriate.

Kai: all these years this family has removed itself from drug trade. But now Tengen ‘S family has also joined.

Cut to an empty skyscraper. The rooms and halls are empty. In the busy street outside Endo stands with man in suit.

Jack : they are very much ingrained into the system.

Jack :the suki cartel is based in Newline in the north. They pretty much control the law and order there.

Jack : there is wall between Suki and Kiara build during the meiji era.

Jack : the Kiara cartel based opposite to them, in the Silverline.

Jack : both of their geographies make for ideal places for making narcotics

Jack :they have operatives all over Japan. They form sort of a world of their own. They even got a name for it, it is called White Line. Complete with their own subculture, music the whole shebang.

Endo : you really went hard on the research Jack, good work.

Endo pored over a piece of paper.

Endo : do one thing, attack the productions centres near the outskirts of Newline. Don't attack the units near to the city centre.

He looks up a singular person drops down slowly as if he is a spider dropping down with his web.

As the person looks up the man who dropped down shoots him in the head.

He falls down lifeless.
