Cain seems to notice that, and returns to minding kits own business— speaking of which, she was starting to get a little pissed. What kind of sick joke was this whole scheme, anyways? Killing criminals with heart attacks, or some kind of inexplicable supernatural act— what was it all for? Gho makes a ticking noise, face scrunched up as gho stares at ghosts screen.
*Woag. There's been a wave of deaths sweeping Yokohama, all convicted criminals, suddenly dying of heart attacks in prisons or right after escaping, or even while in the process of committing a crime. Although they seemed to be natural causes, i.e. sudden heart attacks, most of the prisoners had no history of medical issues relating to the heart, and by the sheer number of them dying, they were clearly linked, and this was clearly the work of a serial killer*

Fortunately, this was just the case Cain needed to focus on. She had nothing better to do, and this was perfect. Kit was bored out of kits mind on kits little Yokohama trip. He found a cafe to hide in the corner of, clicking away on his brightly decorated computer through the details he’d scrounged up on the deaths.

Ghosts attention is briefly drawn to Kris, given hxr… interesting look, but gho tries not to stare. Key being tries. He’s not spectacular with social etiquette, and finds himself repeatedly looking up at Kris.

Cain does, in fact, get kits croissant! And a slice of strawberry cake. Or three. Kit pulls kits laptop out again, gnawing on the croissant idly as it scrolled through more case details.

Yeah, Cain was following shortly behind Kris. Not intentionally or anything, gho just wanted a croissant now. Obviously he was still thinking about the case she was making in his head, but the croissant cravings were pretty distracting.

Lovely! Cain sighs as he tucks his computer into his bag, walking out of the cafe. Gho walks down the street, brain running in circles. Okay— something supernatural, someone committing murders, someone- damn, she wants a croissant. He takes a deep breath, wandering the streets to try to clear his head a little.

Hmm. Cain messes with one of her braids, blinking at the screen. In looking through the victims, gho began looking into whether or not the victims names were broadcast publicly.

…interesting. Cain chews on ghosts thumb as gho scrolls, perplexed. It had to be a series of murders, kit knew it. Someone was systematically killing people, because this many people having heart attacks just couldn’t be coincidence. What could be causing this? Something supernatural? It had to be.
