2020 has really been a long ass wildin' year but it's also brought me to a lot of realizations and conclusions regarding myself.

I feel like I'm ending this year on a note of understanding how I work more and how other people work as well. Being stuck at home for months on end was not really a new experience for me, but for the rest of the people around me it, it was. Having them around more often made me notice things I don't think I ever would have before and it's brought me a lot closer to some people, too (and unfortunately pushed me away from others).

Life has always been a struggle for me because I suffer from many different types of chronic illnesses. This year, though, it was extra hard for me because of those sicknesses. I lost myself quite a few times and thought my end was near. But thanks to the online friends I've made within the past 5 years or so, I've received a lot of support and love. Y'all really mean a lot to me and I appreciate the kindness I've been shown.

With that being said, I really hope 2021 will be a better year for all of us. I wish that all of us can grow past our insecurities and troubles, and move on to bigger things in life. I know everyone has a goal to achieve. Believe in yourself and be courageous. You haven't been the first to feel like the world is crashing down on you and you won't be the last. So connect with people who share your dilemmas and lift each other up. Don't give up so you can look back and be proud of yourself and how far you've come. You deserve that.

Let's enter a new year with a little optimism and positivity, yeah? 💕
