The Stunning Scarlett in Venice.
Scarlett Johansson 'Under the Skin' Premiere 70th Venice International Film Festival
If you happened to miss these gorgeous pictures of Scar in Venice recently you're missing out!
I've always been obsessed with any fashion featuring off-the-shoulder beauty; as demonstrated perfectly here at the annual VIFF.
Teamed with a gorgeous technicoloured gemstone necklace, highlighting the female décolletage. Versace, you've done it again!

Midi me.
This is what we love about style; the smallest changes can transform a look in an instant! Midi rings are a perfectly trendy example right now, of how a small addition to your fashion ensemble can instantly reveal that that Summer indie-chick look we all know and love! For those of you who haven't had access to the internet during 2012 (yeah, right haha), midi rings are thin metal rings worn on the mid-lengths of the finger. They come in a variety of metals including silver, gold, rose gold and chrome, as well as some super cute "kitchy" styles inc. infinity knots, crosses and poetic words (such as "love"). Midi rings are superbly versatile, from casual day looks to formal evening styles, and even have a "slimming" effect on your fingers! Add some midi rings to your perfect Serillo outfit today!

2013 Golden Globes Fashion Wrap!
We’re so proud to share this new feature on Serillo! This snappy, brilliant and slightly snarky fashion review has been popular with our guest blogger’s network for years now, so grab a drink and let’s get started!
A few notes before we begin. Our guest blogger doesn’t cover every dress, but she comes damn near close. Instead, she ignores most of the ‘meh’ choices in favour of the polarising ones. This isn’t about pretty. This is about fashion.
Most likely to be growing up ... TAYLOR SWIFT

Fresh from her 27,000th break-up, Swifty is bringing her big-girl game to the Golden Globes. No fringe and no curls are a big statement for the 23 year old. This Donna Karen Atelier dress is on-trend colour wise (remember it’s winter in Hollywood), and daring for the good girl. The only complaint is the creasing in the front from the limo ride. This is not limited to Swift and the stylists need to figure a permanent solution out (a clothes steamer in a tent at the start of the red carpet?).
Most likely to have admitted the need for stylists, now they are hosting the show... TINA FEY and AMY POEHLER

What gorgeous women. Both of these dresses (worn during the show’s opening) were smashing on their respective wearers, and complemented each other beautifully. Their red carpet arrival outfits were nowhere near as good as this. Props also to Fey’s lush, full hair.
Most likely to be stuck in a rut ZOOEY DESCHANEL

We’re over it now Zooey. You’re a beautiful, quirky girl with a great body for fashion. Stop wearing strapless, sweetheart necklined, poofy skirt dresses in different colours. OVER. IT.
Most likely to know her place but still bring the haute fashion SIENNA MILLER

She wasn’t the big star of the night, but Sienna still knows how to BRING IT. Not everyone’s cup of tea, but really, who else could wear this Erdem? Note the creasing in the front again from sitting in the limo. FIX THIS STYLISTS, PLEASE.
Absolute WORST make-up NICOLE RITCHIE

What has happened here?! This eye make-up is so incredibly ageing, it’s a distraction from her interesting dress. Ritchie has made her name as a fashionista, so these bloopers are even less acceptable. Also, why is she here? Because of her reality TV show ‘Fashion Star’? Really?
Best Armani OLIVIA MUNN

I don’t care who else Mr Armani dressed. Munn chose the perfect dress. Simple yet striking, she’s not the belle of the ball but she recognised the amazing networking opportunity the Globes offers up-and-coming actresses.
Most likely to bring her a-game to the after parties (even though she was not invited to the Globes) MIRANDA KERR

Naww… look at who coupled up to prove the naysayers wrong. Miranda is a model for a reason: she looks like this without the bright lights or Photoshop.
Best example of hitting her stride LEA MICHELE

Lea has really been smashing it out of the park lately. This is perfect on her petite frame and the emerald earrings provide a great pop of colour near her face. The lips could have used some sheer gloss, but that’s all.
Most likely to think taffeta is a viable evening gown fabric JULIE BOWEN

Oh Jules. You were a winner last year in lemon-lime, holding your precious trophy. This is just not good. Bleugh.
Most likely to have stopped off at the ice-skating rink on the way to the awards JENNIFER LOPEZ

Dear J-Lo, pretty sure you’re approaching cougar status. You’re still uber-hot but you need to reassess some of your choices. This belongs at the Winter Olympics or on the set of Dancing With The Stars. Plus, you brought your tacky backup-dancer lover (not worthy of including in this column). EWW. DON’T YOU REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENED TO BRITNEY WHEN SHE HOOKED UP WITH HER BACKUP-DANCER?! SHE WENT CRAZY.
Best I-have-the-flu-but-I-am-still-here JENNIFER LAWRENCE

This starlet has MASSIVE things ahead but the poor thing is celebrating her win for ‘Silver Linings Playbook’ with the flu. The dress is great on her tall frame, and the belt is divine, but I have some issues with the way it fits around the bust. You have the rack Lawrence, so get the dress fitted properly. I want to be blown away by your Oscars dress in a month, so BRING IT.
Best unknown ANNA GUNN

The ‘Breaking Bad’ actress is making waves in this. She looks INCREDIBLE. Love the neck detail.
Best pink AMY ADAMS

Ms Adams is a red carpet pro. She hasn’t put a foot wrong at the big award shows for years. This Marchesa is (surprisingly) elegant, understated and puuuuurty.
Most likely to make me nervous about the Oscars ANNE HATHAWAY

You were a winner tonight Anne. This is a disappointing dress on a winner. I need more from you. I’ve seen more from you. You are going to the Oscars in a month. I need an Oscar-winning dress. Just because it’s Chanel, doesn’t mean it’s enough.
Most surprising first-joint-appearance-by-a-couple-at-an-awards-show DANIEL CRAIG and RACHEL WEISZ

These two had a whirlwind romance. They’re now married but they usually stay super low-key and private. They look cute. The top of that Louis Vuitton dress is fab, but the skirt could have been better – maybe more sheer fabric so it was more voluminous?
Most *meh* CLAIRE DANES

After the highs of Danes’ pregnancy fashion, this is disappointing. Versace, and nice enough, but meh.
Cutest couple EMILY BLUNT and JOHN KRASINSKI

Squee! So cute! Fresh from their Mexican holiday with Jennifer Aniston and her fiancé, these cute marrieds always cut a fine figure on a red carpet.
Best cut-outs and best attention to detail EMILY BLUNT

From a distance, you think ‘meh’. But then you zoom in… and it’s the earrings, the face, the hair. Well done Blunty, well done.
Best kicking it for the older ladies GLENN CLOSE

Simple, refined, classy. As is the actress, as is her fashion.
Most likely to rock it like a 30 year old HELEN MIRREN

Yowzer. What a fox!
Most improved but WORST hair Heidi Klum

This is certainly an improvement on what she’s worn recently. Remember that awful teal lace-up thing? But who is doing these foils? Fire them immediately! A FORMER SUPERMODEL SHOULD NOT HAVE TIGER STRIPES.
Best red carpet fixture ISLA FISHER

Our little Aussie export was there supporting her husband Sacha Baron Cohen (who was presenting), but doesn’t she look totes gorge in this Reem Acra? Although my identity as Serillo’s guest blogger must remain top secret, those who know me know I LOVE a bit of cheeky sparkle/bejewelling. I even like the distinct lack of eye make-up.
Best dress colour and second worst hair JESSICA CHASTAIN

This dress is amazing. Chastain deserves this Calvin Klein. She is climbing towards the peak of her career, she was a winner tonight and she’s a serious contender for the Oscars in a month. However. I have a problem with this middle part. She is too young to be greying. She is too young to have this done to her head. Brush it out Chastain!
Most likely to be wearing what a nominee or winner should have been wearing JULIANNE HOUGH

I know she’s Ryan Seacrest’s lady and he basically runs Hollywood these days, but how did she get first dibs on this?! Imagine this on Anne Hathaway with that amazing short dark hair… Oh well. Hough does it justice too. She looks great.
Most likely to break away from the pack KALEY CUOCO

AMAZING! Such a brave make-up choice, dark lips and dark eyes, but it pays off in this shimmering dress. Love the cleavage and love the bow showing off the tiny waist.
Most likely to pick the absolute best dress to suit her style LUCY LIU

This skates the fine line of nanna’s curtains and haute couture, but on Lucy Liu, it’s divine. The fishtail braid brings it into the land of irreverent and fashion-forward. No one could have worn this like the ageless Liu. This is a dress that makes waves for the actress as she promotes her new show ‘Elementary’. Bravo.
Best sex appeal KATHARINE MCPHEE

PHWOAR. The ‘Smash’ actress indeed smashes it. McPhee is a singing-dancing-acting triple threat and this dress says ‘HELLO I’VE ARRIVED’. The side boob in this dress was phenomenal. The messy hair completes the frisky look.
Best black NICOLE KIDMAN

Our Nic brings her a-game as a nominee and the wife of a nominee. Neither her or Keith won, but this statuesque beauty rarely gets it wrong on the red carpet. I am deliberately ignoring the continuous messing-with-the-face.
Most wasted opportunity SOFIA VERGARA

Ah-but-you-but-I don’t-what is-ahhhh… Sofia’s SLAMMING body is wasted in this dress. It’s basically the black version of what she wore last year. Boo.
Most likely to make you say 'awww' THE FOX FAMILY

Michael J Fox and his wife and son look so lovely together. Youtube the awesome joke Tina Fey made about Taylor Swift preying on Fox Jnr if you’ve got two minutes.
Second worst SARAH HYLAND

You’re so young Sarah. You’re on a super popular TV show. It’s time to upgrade. You’re better than this tacky hair, harsh black and cougar cleavage. You look like you’re attending the Brownlow Awards, NOT THE GOLDEN GLOBES.
Absolute worst HALLE BERRY
What has happened here? Who OK’d this? Awful pattern, awful split, awful sheer panels, awful colour combo. All on such a beautiful woman. And she’s engaged to Kylie Minogue’s ex, French actor Olivier Martinez. Surely a French fiancée means better clothes? This is Versace. How can they have made such a huge mistake?
And drumroll please, as we have our first ever tie for BEST DRESSED!
The best dressed non-nominee... KATE HUDSON

O.M.G. This made us draw a sharp breath in, hold it, and then exhale loudly. Hudson smashes it out of the park over and over again. This is amazing. The hair is amazing, the peek-a-boo is amazing, the shape is amazing, the collar is amazing. We bow in your presence Ms Hudson.
The best dressed nominee... NAOMI WATTS

Well if this is what Ms Watts brought to the Golden Globes, it’s almost UNBEARABLE to think how fabulous her Oscars dress will be. This is an absolute stand-out design from Zac Posen. From the front: elegant, refined, right-on-colour trend, the blonde finger waves perfectly framing the ox-blood coloured dress. And then she turns around. And BANG. There’s diamond backless amazingness, and a train. The best red carpet red in a long time. The best red carpet blonde in a long time. BRING THIS TO THE OSCARS WATTS!
We hope you enjoyed this years fashion wrap of the Golden Globe Awards! - Author: Secret Guest Blogger
