Brightly Coloured Summer Flowers

Had a walk at Iona Beach and took pictures of the happy summer flowers. I like the bright yellows, oranges and reds. The app tells me they are common blanket flowers :)

Looking Up

A different angle, looking up at the curved patterns of the VPL building.

The downtown Apple Store will do photo walks now and then and best of all, they are free! We joined one late last year, a bit of extra practice with the phone is always good and fun :)

Saw that they sometimes do them in Richmond too, will have to keep an eye on the schedules.

October Rain ☔️

Not November rain, October rain. We were driving back from Whistler and it was raining. Had some fun with the patterns of the raindrops on the windshield.

Raindrops on Magnolias

Was walking by and there was a couple of low hanging magnolia trees, easy to reach and flowering. They were covered in raindrops to make them extra pretty :)

I did actually go back with my big camera, but by then the raindrops had dried. Still got some nice flower shots, but the raindrops were just with the phone. The camera you have with you is indeed the best camera :)
