just saw the news about ikemen vampire. one of the first cybrid games i had played and that bought me into this community and expanded my love for otome. even if i ended up putting less attention on vamp compared to other games, it is still sad to hear since i have had the game since the beginning. thank you cybrid for the localization and for holding out for as long as you did. i’m at least glad we get galilio’s route before it ends.

i also understand that many people are upset about this decision, i get it, but please let’s remember to watch what we say. my take and reminder:

- do not negatively drag in other games just because you are upset. just as you enjoy ikevamp, many others also enjoy ikesen, ikepri, and ikevil. it is hurtful to see anyone bash something you love and to see your game get blamed or be talked down on in comparison is not nice and fair. let’s not bring down others of our community. we can be hurt but do no hurt others along the way.

- blaming it on the console or them creating a new game is NOT right. this is their work. they HAVE to keep pushing out new ideas and new projects. would you not dislike it if you were hated on for wanting to try new things but people are too busy sticking to the past? if they’re passionate and excited in a new game, even if it’s sad, it’s not something we should hate on them or the game for.

- the employees are people too. just because they worked there doesn’t mean that it was fully their decision. this is a project they have put their time and dedication to for years. just as how we do not wish for it to be gone, i am sure many staff members are upset and having a hard time as well. we can still criticize about what they did that went wrong of course! just something to keep in mind before we send stuff to them or spam tag them.

- one of the most important reasoning is that we need to keep this in mind with a business standpoint. shouting out that it’s their most popular game or that it is what made their other games so popular does not help in this situation. yes, vamp had their moment years ago and thanks to it, cybrid benefitted a lot and were able to push out newer games. but as of late, it’s not as comparable to the others. it’s a competitive world. they could not keep up and the players couldn’t either. if people don’t spend on the game then it does not matter how popular it was back then, it can not keep standing now. that’s just how it works. they need the profit to pay their employees and everything else that goes into the game.

- that said, i am not discrediting f2p. they are still important because they interact with the game and many people can also talk about it on different social media platforms; however if you look at it, yes lack of whales are a problem but so are lack of players. statically, it has just decreased exponentially compared to before. fewer mentions on socials as well.

- it’s very sad and any of our other games could be next but let’s look at the player base too before blaming it all on cybrid. yes, i know some of that has to do with how they handled things, but if people enjoy other games more and move on, then cybrid has to create new ones to keep up. we make the game continue with numbers. if it falls short then we have to accept, as sad as it is.

- even if they have done many wrongs or if we feel like they do not care about the game, we should also keep in mind that they still worked on vamp for years. they didn’t have to but they gave us an en localization. we all knew this was coming for a long while now but they continued to push it as far as they could, even willing until galilio’s route. let’s not focus on the bad side only but also be thankful for their hardwork throughout the years.

just to be clear, you are free to express your feelings, they’re all valid. we can feel like they did us wrong or did not care about the game. i’m not writing this out to start any issues so i apologize if it is taken the wrong way. it’s a bit of a bittersweet feeling for me. i truly did love these characters. they’ve brought me so many good memories and i will always be thankful to them for existing at the time i needed them. we can shout and we can cry but at the end when it’s all done, let’s look back on the game in good memories! <3

We were lying on the grass. Alfons persuaded me to join him, saying that he would like to take a nap with me. The chirping of birds in the trees, the soft buzzing of insects and the warm sweet scent of flowers in the air. Everything seemed soft, peaceful, and lulling. But… something felt off. I looked at him, and, indeed, he wasn't sleeping, but was looking up at the sky.

Alfons smiled a little shyly, like a kid caught in the act, and turned to me.

I thought… that happens after death.

The thought of death crossed his mind quite often, so I wasn't surprised. But… I've never really thought about it myself.

To die without being remembered by anyone… how tragically poetic it is, this curse of mine.

Hearing that must have made you so very sad, did it not? You were always one to take everything so earnestly, though that made toying with you all the more enjoyable.

I no longer hope to be remembered. This hedonistic way of life was all I needed to indulge in until the inevitable arrived. At least, that was what I had surrendered myself to believe. Yet somehow, even if the world forgot my existence, my scent no longer lingers in the wind, and my words no more than a lost language, I foolishly yearned for you—the one person my heart could not bear to be forgotten by.

I suddenly found myself with this deluded desire. Wishful thinking would get me nowhere, I know that full well, because a dream will always end.

However, deluded as I may be, your voice that told me you would never forget me, and your eyes that refused to look away, afraid that I would disappear—well, when they were adamantly directed at me, it seems I could not deny your unshakable confidence and passionate love. Even if it were lies, they were lies I was happy to hear. Cursed as this life of mine was, like a fairytale, you broke the spell… now I am just a man cursed to be forgotten by everyone, everyone but you.

I quite cherish these memories of our time together, and just like promised, our love sworn, until death do us part.

Ikemen Sengoku: Eternal Bonds quick update:

- sen’s outdated interface will be revamped into a new app.

- gameplay will be similar to ikepri/ikevil.

- routes will be moved to the new game over time, with new sequel releases for the characters.

- plot regarding their past, present, future. includes stuff like their childhood and even a route ending were mc and suitor gets married.

- standard cards that are being implemented will look like below.

- currently, no precise update on what will be transferred from our previous account. just “assets will be transferred” has been stated.

- beauty and glamour from old account will have an exchange reward in the new one. (it’s not much)
