Jaein let his fingers run through Kinam’s hair. His hair was so soft. Jaein loved he could smoothly run his fingers through each strand of Kinam’s chestnut brown hair. Honestly, Jaein just loved everything about him. How plump his lips were. How easy he could fall asleep in his arms. So much more too. Jaein just ​loved​ him. But how come he couldn’t say it to him?

“Jaein?” Kinam said, laying his head back into Jaein’s lap. “Whatcha thinking about?”

Jaein snapped out of his thoughts and looked down at Kinam. His lips were so ​soft looking. “Nothing much.” He placed a kiss on Kinam’s lips; his lips slowly turned into a smile after he stopped.

“ Are you sure? I called your name like five times before you answered, “ He pouted and turned his body a little to the left. Now he wasn’t facing Jaein anymore. He was just resting his head on Jaein’s thigh.

Jaein moved down so he could talk to Kinam face to face. ​God, he’s beautiful​. He held Kinam’s face and softly gazed into his eyes. “ I’m sure I promise. “

Jaein didn’t want to admit it, but he was scared to say I love you. He knew he loved Kinam, but what if he didn’t love him back. That scared Jaein. Almost to the point where his eyes would water up.

It’s not like Jaein stayed up late at night thinking about how he finally wanted to say those three words to Kinam. ​He didn’t, obviously.

“ Want to watch a movie? “ Kinam asked, snapping Jaein out of his thoughts once again.

“Sure, what do you want to watch? “ Jaein said. He stood up and reached out for Kinam’s hand.

Kinam grabbed Jaein’s hand and smiled. He led him to the couch and plopped in his lap after they sat down.

Kinam plopped down onto Jaein’s lap and rested his head on Jaein’s shoulder. He tried to reach over to the right and grab the blanket that was there, but his arms were too short.

“ Jaein ” Kinam pouted and looked up to him. He always spoke in a soft voice when he wanted something, it almost always worked. “ Could you get the blanket please? ”

Jaein placed a kiss on Kinam’s forehead and nodded, he reached over to grab the fuzzy blanket. He placed it over Kinam and him, it fit perfectly.

“ What are you in the mood to watch? ” Jaein asked, laying his head back on the couch while his other arm was placed next to Kinam.

” Jaein ” Kinam whispered, staring into Jaein’s eyes. “ I love you ”

Jaein’s mind went blank and he opened his mouth, he wanted to say it back. But he couldn’t? Why couldn’t he say it back?

“ You don’t have to say it back ” Kinam smiled and placed a soft kiss on Jaein’s lip then pulled him into a hug.

Jaein’s eyes watered as he thought to himself ” I love you too.... ”

November 9. This day wasn’t a day that had much importance when you think about it. But to Tobias, any day that he goes to meet Soobin was special. Tobias found so much joy when it came to meeting up with Soobin late at night. The pair always met up at the park. No one ever went there, so it was like their special place. The park was the only place they could go and just be an average couple beside their own home, which sometimes isn’t even safe. The two needed a place where they could just be Soobin and Tobias. And not txt’s Soobin and blonde boy’s Tobias. 

These days Tobias rarely saw Soobin. They would text, but since Soobin was busy and, blonde boys were preparing for their comeback, they couldn’t meet up. So this day was special to Tobias. He wanted to make this day the best he could for both him and Soobin. 

He got up early today, Tobias wasn’t a heavy sleeper, but it was Monday. And he was exhausted. Despite that, he got up at 8 am and started to plan his day before meeting Soobin at 9 pm. He had the day planned down to the minute and was ready to begin his schedule until Kiha came in. 

“ Hey, can you help me find my keys? I need to go pick up my dry cleaners. “ Kiha peeked through Tobias’s door with puppy eyes. He was begging him to help. Tobias knew Kiha didn’t even look for them before asking, but he wasn’t going to say no to his best friend. 

Tobias groaned and threw his head back “ Fine. “ He threw his sweater on real quick and walked out of his room to find the keys. Tobias knew where Kiha had lost his keys. It’s the same place he always does on the coffee table under the lamp. He leaves them there so Eliot’s boyfriend Howon won’t mistake them for his. Kiha always seems to forget that, though. 

Tobias quickly walked over to the coffee table and lifted the lamp up to grab the keys. He held them up in the air and yelled for Kiha, who was in the kitchen on his phone. “ I found them. “ He was frustrated, so he began to become impatient when Kiha didn’t answer. Tobias stomped over to the kitchen and threw the keys on the table. “ Start hanging up your keys. “

Tobias rushed back to his room to finish getting ready, slamming the door behind him. He didn’t have to be this extra. He knew that, but he just wanted today to be perfect. Tobias shook his and cupped his face. “ Stay focused, Toby “ He told himself before going to pick out the rest of his outfit. In case you were wondering, he wore a sweater and basketball shorts with his mismatch socks on, While he was finding Kiha’s keys. 

Tobias skimmed through his closet, trying to find something that would match the sweater he just put on. Unfortunately for Tobias, most of his clothes were dirty. That was entirely his fault, though. He got lazy yesterday and didn’t put them in the wash like he was supposed to. Luckily for him, Kagenori wore the same style of clothes. 

He knocked on Kagenori’s door. He knocked so lightly that he was shocked when the door opened with no one behind it. Tobias took a peek in and saw no sign of Kagenori. Was he worried? Yes, but he wanted to find clothes first. 

Tobias walked over to Kagenori’s closet and took a look at the color-coordinated closet. His mouth opened in shock; he knew Kagenori took pride in his clothes. He just didn’t think it was this extreme. He shook his head and got back to finding an outfit he could wear. Eventually, after 10 or 15 minutes of searching, he saw something that he liked. 

Tobias wrote a little note for him, saying that he owed him one and that he would get these washed after he wore them. 

He went to grab his jacket and put his shoes on before he left to pick up the cake he ordered for Soobin and him to eat while they swung at the park. He slipped his shoes on and put his arms through his black wool coat. Tobias opened the back door and headed out.

He didn’t know precisely where the bakery was, but he had a general idea. Toby skipped along the road cheerfully. He had his earphones in, listening to his happy music. ( ex. Close to you by Olivia Ong ) nothing could ruin this day for him anymore. 

Toby couldn’t wait to see Soobin’s face when he gave him his favorite cake. Tobias had seen the cake shop in the corner of his eye and skipped a little faster so he could reach it in time for his pick up. 

He opened the shop doors and saw the shop owner look up and flash a little smile at Toby. In return, Toby gave the shop owner and small wave. 

Tobias walked over to the counter and said, “ Order for Dohyun. “ Yes, he used Cypher’s name, but it was payback for giving him 20 dollars the other day. Plus, no one knew Cypher’s real name; he kept that to himself. ( besides his group members, of course ) It seemed a little less suspicious when he got the cake that said ‘I love you, Soobin.’ Well, he might have seemed like a saesang, but others are named Soobin too. 

He shook it off and paid for the cake as fast as he could so he could start walking to the park. He was so eager to set up a cute little picnic date for Soobin. He rushed out of the bakery too fast that he fell down the shop’s front steps, crushing the cake.  

Tobias sat up. He felt his lip quiver, but he quickly sucked it up and picked up the cake trash. Tobias tried his best to clean his jacket off. Correction he desperately tried to clean the cake off of Kagenori’s jacket. 

He squashed his face, trying to prevent himself from crying right then and there. He started to walk home. So he could change and take a shower ( to get the cake off him and Kagenori’s clothes. ) He dragged his feet, thinking over the incident that happened moments before. ‘ Hopefully, I won’t be late.’

He unlocked the dorm’s front door and slid his back down the front door. Putting his hands over his eyes, trying to calm himself down. He needed to regroup this. What could he do for Soobin this close to their meeting. 

Tobias thought about this while he went to get a towel, and as he dried off again as he went to find replacement clothes. He even thought about it when he was rushing to meet Soobin. How could he let time slip while he was in the shower. 

Tobias was so done. He felt so defeated. Tobias didn’t even smile when he saw Soobin on the swings in front of him. He just sighed and walked over to him, dragging his feet so that maybe time would slow down and he wouldn’t have to face Soobin empty-handed. 

“ Hi, Toby! “ Soobin said, with much enthusiasm. Reaching his arms out for a hug, in return, he got nothing. 

Tobias looked down, he could return that enthusiasm, and he felt terrible about it. 

“ What’s wrong, Toby? “ Soobin reached out and pulled Tobias into a hug. He held him tightly, and Tobias just melted. 

Releasing all the emotions, he felt before. Tobias was sobbing into Soobin’s arms. He didn’t even have to explain himself. Soobin just held on to him tightly to reassure him. 

“ I understand. “ Soobin told him, in a soft voice. 

Tobias looked up to him, his eyes all puffy and red. Soobin leaned down and kissed him on the lips. Tobias felt like fireworks were behind him and that the day wasn’t so bad anymore. He was finally where he wanted to be, with Soobin. 

“ Do you feel any better now? ‘‘ Soobin asked, and Tobias nodded, snuggling his face into Soobin’s chest.

how did they meet?

[ XINMEI @ 12:28 ] “ i want to say the first we met was at a tennis court! back in 2017 after i moved to crystal media i wanted something to help me relax ” she took a breath and interlaced her hands together. “ he was there with i believe one of his groupmates, maybe eliot i don’t remember, but i do remember that i asked for his number at the end. ”

“ we talked for about six months before the last time i asked him out. i was planning that if he said no, i would leave him alone about it but he said yes! “ she hid her face in hands and laid her head on zexian’s shoulder.

did either of them try to resist their feelings?

[ PLUTO @ 12:57 ] “ i mean i guess i kinda did? xinmei was very persistent and asked me out every week, the first few times i thought ‘this girl is crazy’ but after awhile i started to fall for her… ” zexian’s face flushed red and he tilted his head to the ground. “ i don’t know why im getting embarrassed xinmei brings this up whenever she can ” xinmei’s laugh overlapped the last word that pluto said. “ it’s very important for him to know that i have liked him since day 1 ” she smiled, the corners of her eyes crinkling.

[ XINMEI @ 3:12 ] “ when we were just friends we out together a lot! well as much as we could with our schedules.” she paused to think, and for a second she looked absolutely confused. “ i don’t remember our first date as a couple... ” she said, in an apologetic tone while looking over at zexian. pluto smiled at her and reached over to give her a hug, “ don’t worry! I think our first date was to ink coffee in nanjing? remember because we went a few day days after blue lines promotions finished.” xinmei buried her head in pluto’s chest and quietly whispered a yes.

[ PLUTO @ 3:25 ] “ well xinmei’s birthday is march 17 and mine is february 18 so we are about 3 weeks apart? ” he looked over to xinmei for conformation. she nodded her head in agreement and stood up. she walked over to zexian and pulled his hand up, showing that she wanted for him to stand up as well. pluto sprung up and stood on the right of xinmei. “ zexian is 183cm so about 6’0? and i think i’m 163cm and that’s 5’3 so that’s a 20cm difference and 9 inches ” pluto rested his head on xinmei’s as she was finishing up her last words.

[ SOOBIN @ 8:O3 ] “ i just love when tobias holds my hand when i stressed or tired ” soobin leaned on tobias’s shoulder and let out a relaxed sigh. he looked up at tobias and tobias looked down leaving a little kiss on his forehead. “ i love you ” he smiled so hard that his dimple showed on his face.

[ TOBIAS @ 8:11 ] “ you know actually i have thought about this before ! ” tobias flashed his gummy smile and leaned his head to the right. “ when i think about soobin and i or just soobin in general i hear the song is the barbie and the 12 dancing princesses theme. something about that song makes me feel like im dancing in a secret garden , carefree and happy. that’s how soobin makes me feel ”

“ who’s more protective ”

[ SOOBIN @ 8:17 ] “ im definitely more protective of tobias , i have seen him in his lowest places. seeing that makes me feel so bad because i couldn’t do anything to protect him from it. ” he frowned, gripping tobias’s tighter. “ i just want tobias to be happy, that’s all i want. ”

“ what was their first kiss like ”

[ TOBIAS @ 8:2O ] “ it was magical , this is so cheesy but i felt like fireworks were in the background when soobin kissed me ” he laughed and held his hands together. soobin clapped his hands and held his head back “ what did the fireworks sound like ” he wiped the tears off his face and looked at tobias. “ they were like boom pow boom ” they broke out into laughter together. they stopped and just stared at each other for a minute. tobias leaned in a gave soobin a kiss on the lips “ i love you so much.... ”
