The irony of this new breed of self-righteous AI hunters on AO3 is that they're all just copy and pasting peoples fics into AI detectors, which are all operated by AI and therefore THEY are feeding people's work into the algorithm without their consent and in some cases no doubt circumventing the locks people put on to avoid getting scraped...

Don't copy and paste anyone's AO3 work into third party websites, you're not the good guys in this situation?

So many people really did not get it before January. They thought there wouldn’t be dire consequences to letting the far-right fascists control all 3 branches of government, or that there was some secret trick to stop it all, and Republicans somehow wouldn’t be able to wreak havoc basically uninterrupted until the next election. This has all been baked in since November 5th, 2024, and that’s why some of us were inconsolable for months. We knew it would be nonstop misery until they could be voted out again. People should have made better choices in November, what can I say?

sometimes i think about the history of coffee culture in islam and how it spread like it’s so funny
