OUR COMMUNITY IS UNDER THREAT. DO YOU LIVE ON THE NORTHERN BEACHES, SYDNEY???? RMS are proposing clearways 7 days a week, 6am - 7pm at Collaroy Beach, as well as Manly Vale, Dee Why, Narrabeen and Mona Vale. IN BOTH DIRECTIONS!! This is catastrophic for residents, businesses and communities. This means no parking on either side of Pittwater Rd. You won't be able to park outside your home, grab a takeaway coffee, pick up your shopping from the local IGA, get a pie from The Upper Crust, go to the post office, surf shop, chemist, beauty salon or bakery. Where do you park when you want to take your children to the park or to the beach/nippers What will this do to all the parking in your streets? Do you want to be crossing a 6-lane freeway when you can't park in your own street? Do you want your children walking next to a clearway? Local businesses will close and the strips will be ghost towns -look at Parramatta Rd and Victoria Rd. Who will sponsor your local sports clubs and surf clubs? How will our lifeguards effectively patrol the beaches? It's not too late but we have to move quickly. Voice your concerns by  emailing clearways@rms.nsw.gov.au or email your local MP.
