Congrats!
I'm not sure about the weather where I am, but from what I'm reading on here, it's been very warm lately!
Make sure to stay hydrated! :)
I'm going outside today! Isn't that so cool? I have to pick out what to wear haha! This is so exciting!

If memory serves, my partner told me he once drank some ether for a "very stupid bet". (It was a long time ago, before we met, and he's not quite so reckless with his luck and health nowadays. I hope.)
It was harmless in the sense that his life was not in danger, but it did leave him with a horrible stomach ache. (And also rather jittery, apparently.)
Assuming my partner's experience is the norm, I would say that it is similar to an energy drink, but comes with the side effect of terrible stomach pains.
(I would still advise against drinking it, though.)
Do we think ethers would work like an energy drink on people? Since that's kind of how they work on pokemon?

You've been in a medication-induced sleep, so your responses being all over the place is perfectly understandable. No need to apologise.
I hope they know what they're doing. You're pleasant to talk to, and I'd hate for them to do something stupid that ends up with you hurt.
Or maybe I'm just cynical from being stuck in here for Arceus-knows how long?
Think I just woke up from a little tiny med induced coma. I don't think it knocked me out for as long as they wanted. Only out for 2 days. Still super tired though, may go back to sleep haha.

It doesn't sound like they're taking good care of you, if they're knocking you out for two days and think that wasn’t long enough.
I understand your condition can be. . . Unpredictable. But surely there are better - and safer - ways of monitoring you that don't involve knocking you out?

I miss the sun.
And the wind.
And the feel of dirt beneath my fingers and the scent of grass.
I. . .
I miss a lot of things.
I can barely remember them now.

Just some really quick doodles of the first things that sprang to mind.
They’re not very good, but. . .
It keeps my mind off of things, at least.
I wonder how Grim's doing. Hopefully not pushing himself past his limits in search of me. It’s a bad habit of his. Pushing himself too far. It’s a habit he’s only recently just started to break.

Oh, dear! I'm glad you got your mam's wedding ring back in the end.
My boy has a Haxorus of his own. Black scales, rather than the usual yellow. He's an intimidating fellow, but very gentle. He frightened Hydreigon at first, but they get along perfectly fine now.
I wonder how they're all doing?
I do not feel as though you are pressuring people into answering you, Lee. (May I call you that? Or would you prefer me to use a different name?)
You're confined to a medical wing with limited contact with people.
Asking questions seems perfectly reasonable to me. How else are you going to learn, if you don't ask?
I quite enjoy our conversations, even if they may be brief.
So, feel free to ask me questions. I have little else to do in here.
@shackle-and-door
Calling me Lee is completely fine, it's what most of my friends call me!
I like our conversations too, they're fun, though brief. I don't really get why this lot is all fussing over me being held 'hostage' while you are a literal prisoner to an evil team. Surely they should at least try to get you out before trying to 'save' the guy that's given biweekly massages.
As for a question for you, what's your favorite pokemon? And why do you like them?

I'm certain they are trying. My loved ones are a stubborn lot. So they'll definitely be trying to track the Frigate down, with or without police assistance.
At least Kyurem is safe. Plasma can't try to use them again. They're in safe hands now.
And yet, treating you like you're always about to level the building could cause you anxieties and stress too, right? So although I understand their wariness in this case, perhaps a more relaxed environment would be more beneficial for you all?
Ah, but I'm merely speculating. Waffling, even!
I - or rather we (for I am referring to Grim here, too) - have a Purrloin back home, too! He's a cute little thing, but has a penchant for stealing my hairpins.
Charizard are incredible Pokémon, from what I've read. I'd love to see one in person.
Have you ever interacted with Haxorus? They're usually rather gentle, but can be ferocious when protecting those they care for. Your description of Charizard reminds me of them.

The issue in my case is that, although the Frigate is very distinctive, it's remarkably difficult to track. It frequently changes location, which in turn makes it difficult to find me and stop Team Plasma. So it could be near Nacrene City one day, and move up to Opelucid the next. (I unfortunately have no way of knowing my location, only being able to tell when this damn ship starts moving.)
You are being held in that medical wing against your will and treated like you might rampage if you so much as sneeze wrong; your circumstances are different than mine, but you are no less a prisoner.
You. . . Remind me of some people I know, in a way.
They were confined to a space which appeared pleasant on the surface, but was in truth a. . . I suppose you could call it a "beautiful prison".
A gilded cage, I believe is the term.
Anyway!
My favourite Pokémon?
Hm.
I'd say Skitty. They're so cute, and their fur is so soft! I have a soft spot for all feline Pokémon, but Skitty is my favourite. (Amusingly, I have been compared to a Delcatty several times in the past!)
What about you? What's your favourite Pokémon, and why do you like them?

Humorously, my dear Grim is actually a bit awkward when the cameras and media aren't around! He can talk all day about marine Pokémon, you know. He's so passionate about them; it’s adorable, seeing his eyes light up in a way they never do when the cameras are around. It's nice, seeing him be silly and not needing to maintain appearances. Quite different from how he portrays himself in front of the media!
I get what you mean, yes. Life can be hectic! I think I'd prefer staying in a room like yours than the one I'm in, though. I miss the sun.
Hm. . . I should look for Skitty videos and pictures. I love that little Pokémon. (I love all cat Pokémon, but Skitty is my favourite.)
Do you have a favourite Pokémon?
Hello. Erm. I'm not really sure what to say.
I. . . Suppose I just wanted to say hello.
Sorry, I'm not very good at this. There's not much for me a start a conversation with in here.
Anyway! I. . . I just wanted to say hello and ask how you are, really.
It can be hard, reaching out to people.
@shackle-and-door
Hey there! It's completely fine, not knowing what to say. I've been in that situation more times than I can count! Between you and me, I still get totally tongue-tied whenever I talk to the champs and gym leaders I grew up watching, so it'd be hypocritical if I ever got annoyed with someone not knowing what to say!
I'm doing pretty well myself, how about you?

It's funny, really. My partner is one of the Unova Elite Four, so you'd think I'd pick up some social skills from him. Evidently not!
I can't really complain, despite my current situation. It might sound strange, but the lack of anything happening is actually a good thing.
I'm mostly bored, really. There's nothing to do in here. Attempting to make music by rattling the shackle's chain doesn't count. All it did was give me a headache.
Well. Aside from Rotomblr, of course. For some reason, this phone that suddenly appeared in here only connects to Rotomblr. (No idea how it got in here, either.)
I'm glad you're doing well. :)

Aah, that's a shame. But Snowy's health is a priority, so putting it on hold is more than reasonable.
Goodness, no wonder you haven't been on a hike for a while! Your life certainly is busy! It must be a wonderful breath of fresh air for all of you when you get the chance to go on one!
Settling in for a nice weekend, since looks like the hike planning attempt probably isn't going to pan out for a bit.
So what's everyone up to this weekend?
