OFFICIAL CLOSING ANNOUNCEMENT
Dear amazing members and followers,
We're really sorry that you haven't heard from us in a very long time. A lot has changed in both our lives since january and therefore the revamp of our roleplay has been sidetracked.
In the very near future we don't see this changing. Although we still enjoy roleplaying ourselves, we don't think we will have the time and energy to be mods, since we've both discovered there is a very big difference between being a part of a roleplay and being a mod. Because we know, from experience, that every roleplay needs very active mods, we think it's better to stop setting up our own roleplay for now.
If the circumstances change, we would love to give it a new try in the future. For now we will enjoy roleplaying in a few amazing other TVD/TO communities out there and will dedicate the time and energy we have to them.
We would really like to thank everyone who has been a member of our group and we also thank those who have applied for parts. We wish you loads of amazing roleplaying adventures in the future and maybe our parts will cross again. We will keep this account around, so if you have any questions or would like to talk, feel always free to send us a message.

Graphics are updated!
A revamp asks for new graphics and right now all the graphics are updated, just like the url. If all went well, the navigation and everything should work and the first big step towards the revamp is made!
The next step? Updating our locations and storyline! As you might have seen, we will move our roleplay to a city, but what's going on there and what's wrong there is not completely determined yet.
Is there something you would like to see in this roleplay? Something you would like to try out? A challenge you would like your characters to deal with? An unique location you would like to see included? Feel free to let us know! Maybe we can use your idea to write an awesome storyline with loads of roleplay opportunities!

!!IMPORTANT FOR OUR CURRENT MEMBERS!!
Dear amazing handlers, dear amazing people, dear amazing characters,
It had been a joy to have you on this Island, to interact with you, to become friends with you, to explore with you. We're sorry to discover that the plot wasn't really working and that we have to close the roleplay while we're trying to create a better scenery and storyline.
We don't want your work to be gone forever, not your applications, not the character building, not the amazing love and thought you've put into this. Therefore, we would like to offer the following.
If you're interested in checking out the Roleplay again after the revamp, feel free to send us a message from your character's account with the username of the tumblr-account we can use to contact you as soon as we're ready. We'll be willing to offer you the same part, if you like the new concept, after the revamp without an application.
Of course, we totally understand it if you would like to find another roleplay in the mean time and even after sending us a message, you're always free to say no as soon as we're ready.
We hope that our paths, whether it's in this roleplay or in another, will cross again in the future and feel free to stay active in the OOC!

Temporary Closing of this Roleplay
Dear amazing handlers, followers and everyone else reading this,
We both feel very sorry to post this message, but we owe it to ourselves and our handlers to be critical towards our own ideas and to admit that the current concept is not working as we had in mind.
Therefore we'll be temporary closing this roleplay. We'll take some time to come up with a new idea, with a better storyline and with a better scenery that gives the characters and the handlers more room to play with.
Although we really enjoyed the hard work, the amazing writing and the emotional depth in every post, we agree that the characters are running around in circles and that there isn't a clear goal or something to work with.
What can you expect from our roleplay 2.0?
Another location and scenery, a clearer environment and more to do
A better storyline with clearer goals and positions for our characters
Monthly events that will really move the plot
What will stay the same in our roleplay 2.0?
We'll try to keep the bio's as they are now, just like we aim to create a non-supernatural roleplay
The rules, the help with writing OC's and our excitement
We'll both be available to answer questions and to read messages on the main, so feel free to ask us anything or to send us things you would like to see in our roleplay!
We hope to be able to restart our inplay very soon, but we want to make sure that this time the storyline WILL work and that we don't have to do this again. We hope that everyone will stay in touch with us and we can't wait to see you all back.

Dear amazing people!
Together with our amazing group of players, which we're really thankful for, we're evaluating our first month of roleplaying, how things go and what works and doesn't work.
At the moment it seems that the future of our current roleplay is a little bit uncertain. To prevent anyone from putting loads of time and effort into an application, only to find out that maybe this roleplay needs a well thought out revamp, we'll close the applications for now.
If anyone has suggestions, ideas, questions or worries: feel free to send us an ask and to let us know.
Our current handlers are of course totally allowed to keep on playing if they wish, until a final decision is made.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! (WARNING: ACTIVITY CHECK IN 2 DAYS FROM NOW!)
We want to wish all our handlers and all the people following us a very happy new year! We hope that all your dreams come true, that great things will happen to you and that only good things will cross your path!
We want to thank everyone for helping us to start this roleplay. We have a lot more things on store for the Island and we can't wait to see how that turns out!
We also want to remind our handlers that our first activity check of 2015 will be Monday January 5th at 8pm Central Eurpean Time. If you won't be able to be active before then and are not on the hiatus list right now, make sure to send us a message!
We would also love to see some new members on our Island before we start writing the new batch of characters. We will be able to accept in 9 hours if you want to. What about Stefan Salvatore? Or Elijah Mikaelson? Or what about any of our amazing Teen Wolf Characters like Allison Argent or Stiles Stilinski?

Every inch of the beach has been explored. Crates have been opened, treasures have been found. But there is one crate, lonely waiting for someone to find it. It had not arrived with the other crates. It has arrived just in time to be used for the festivities of New Years Eve and it's filled with fireworks in all shapes and forms.
When: The crate can be found right after the posting of this message.
Where: On the beach
Until: The crate will be empty by the end of january third in whatever timezone you are. Interactions that are started before then can be continued, but no new interactions based on this event can be started.
