How you feel is how you feel. Do not base your sense of self on people you don't know. I have been struggling with self-doubt about recently discovered kintypes (dandy's world kintypes). I convinced myself for a second that I was somehow lying to myself about my connections and that I was just being silly. And I still feel like that. But it is harmful to ignore it in order to feel "valid" in the eyes of everyone. How I feel is how I am. And I am learning to accept that.
