My IKEA shelf is like a little plush hotel. Hah.

I hand-sewed the plushes in the first three units.

Putt-Putt - Completed in January 2023. The hardest one to design and sew (I only made him because he’s my favorite). There’s a removable voicebox that places various voices clips from Putt-Putt Saves the Zoo. I plan to add another one that plays his horn when you press his horn button.

Ryou - Completed in April 2023. Arms, legs and torso are posable and he can stand on his own. He’s about 15 inches/38 centimeters tall, designed to be proportional to Putt-Putt.

Moth - Completed in August 2018. First plush made. Has attachable sword. Easiest to make and relatively simple in design. Also the most cuddly.

Butterfly - Completed in March 2019. Pretty hard to make, second hardest definitely. Requires wiring to support his head, antenna, and arms so they are somewhat poseable. Don’t know if I can easily make again as I didn’t follow my templates completely.

Vi - Completed in January 2021. Antenna and arms are wired, so they are posable. Comes with some expressions that are changeable, such as annoyed, sleepy and winking.

Also last unit has a Donkey Kong and Inkling plush, not made by me obviously.

Today is April 15, the birthday of my second all-time favorite character, Moth from Creepy Castle. The two candles are supposed to mean he's in his early 20s.

What if Moth from Creepy Castle meets Team Snakemouth from Bug Fables.

Vi would be a tsundere little sister figure, secretly jealous that Moth is older than her yet Leif finds him. She’d refuse to think of him as an older brother/uncle.

Moth is smiling but probably thinks he’s not ready for this responsibility.

Also regarding my crossover universe, Vi and Moth probably already met before, but Moth somehow wanders into Bugaria and meets Kabbu and Leif. Vi comes home and becomes shocked.

Here’s the cover of my Bug Fables fan comic, Missing Bee Child. I didn’t expect to work on this, but I realized I’m quite motivated to work on this.

This takes place after the events of Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling so there will be spoilers for the main story, as well as Vi, Kabbu and Leif’s Requests.

This is my first comic series and I’d say my art and writing skills are still at an amateur level. Constructive criticism is appreciated. If your suggestions fit or improve the comic, I can either try to update the panel, implement them in the future parts, or implement them in a future remake (once I have better skills).

Summary:

Vi, the youngest and most ambitious member of Team Snakemouth, disappears in the Lost Sands after accepting a seemingly simple quest. Her teammates and close friends, Kabbu and Leif, swear to find her at all costs. As well as bring her home safe and sound. It is much easier said than done; the dangers in the lands outside town are numerous for explorers, especially those who venture alone.

Genre: Mystery, Adventure, Hurt/Comfort

Rating: PG

I got the impression that Vi appreciates prettiness from the spy dialogue with Madame Butterfly. Not that she’d admit that to just anyone.

For a bit of context, Vi’s outing with Chubee was cut short because of a theater emergency. Kabbu is exploring the Lost Sands with Professor Neolith while Leif took Tod and Chompy to a Spy Cards tournament.

Comics take a lot of effort for me, so not sure if I’ll post much.

It took a while since I never modded pets before (besides a dog), but I added the secret member, Chompy.

Now it’s a full Team Snakemouth party.
