people of Maeovis

Elves - the most human-looking race. They can have a variety of skin colors, most ranging from a pale color to a dark tan. They have long pointed ears that can move independently of each other. (Marcus)

Ahuatl - tan or dark-skinned humanoids with pointed ears and thin tails. They are shorter than most of the other races, at about 5 feet on average.

Vityr - tall and pale-skinned humanoids with blue markings on their face, torso, and arms. They are about 6 feet on average. (Erin)

Vishi - typically pale skinned humanoids with dark hair and scales on their arms and back. Their most defining feature is their long tail. (Khani)

Kobolds - short, round-faced humanoids with pointed ears and long, thin tails. They typically have tan or dark skin. (Russet)

Sukhets - dark-skinned humanoids with long pointed ears. Typically, they have spots on their back similar to a hyena. (Kit, Teca)

Sirens - grey-skinned merfolk with tails similar to sharks or dolphins. They have the ability to gain legs when out of the water. (Atia)

Magefolk - elf-like beings with magical abilities. Many of them have scars caused by the magic they wield. (Jordan, Katherine)

Summary Erin seeks out Katherine, a skilled magician, to learn about the magic of the world. What she learns sends her on a mission to destroy the world. Seven people from all over the world discover this, and they group together, ready to do whatever it takes to stop her.

Characters Kit - A desert elf (she/her) who lives in Aves with her adopted daughter Russet. She is a confident and charming treasure collector with a strong moral code.

Russet - A kobold (she/they) who lives with Kit in Aves. She is a stubborn and chaotic girl who is always ready for adventure, no matter what kind.

Teca - A desert elf (she/her) who lives in the Elysian wilderness. She is a confident but stubborn leader with a mysterious past.

Atia - A siren pirate (she/her) who lives on the Blue Beauty, a pirate ship. She is a brave and chaotic pirate looking to make a mark on the world.

Marcus - An elven acolyte (he/him) who lives in a chapel in the mountains. He is nervous and strict, and wants to help the people around him.

Khani - an elven researcher (he/him) who lives in Siniva. He is a kind-hearted and worried scholar who knows a lot about the world.

Jordan - A charming magefolk (they/them) who travels the world. They are a skilled magician running from their past.

Katherine - an autistic magefolk (she/her) who travels the world looking for magic. She is awkward and smart, and is always looking for new things to learn about magic.

Erin - a goliath warrior (she/her) who is determined to return the old magic to the world. She is powerful and cold, and will stop at nothing to achieve her goals.
