1. Find a doofus with a (un)reasonably kind heart and some power

2. Give them homework and join the existing status quo, and pretend to be corrupt and evil

3. Important: Hire an unbeatable bodyguard that no one can take seriously

4. While pretending to be evil, don't be loyal to any existing evil parties in conflict. That'll be easy because evil people are never loyal

5. Watch them go down in flames as you make space for your gullible doofus

6. Prepare for contingencies. Now that doofus is in spotlight, everyone will want to take them down. Identify your enemies in advance and zero on their weakness

7. Take them down. Find like-minded people to help (a cause might help here but it should be rock solid and based around justice). You can even hold favours over their head (because masses are inevitably fickle), but like in a non-threatening manner

8. Prepare to confront the king. If you've done the above steps right, you now face a king with hardly any allies (cz they are dead or implicated) while you've a network of supporters

I just finished watching this brilliant Cdrama, and I think it's so inspiring to watch especially when you're living in times of absolute moral and political corruption. It also suggests that it requires humongous effort and planning to upturn such a mad, self destructive paranoid system.
