Sherlock and Pirate

Gift work for @7-percent, who's stories contain young Sherlock and his horse 'Pirate'.

Those stories are among my absolute favourites and this is a thank you to 7% for sharing her amazing writing with us. I often return to them for comfort reading, especially to 'The Shooting Party'.

Remember to be kind to each other my lovelies, in whatever fandom you reside. Falling into a fandom, at least for me, feels a lot like falling in love for the very first time. The agony, the ecstacy, the entirely consuming passion. The obsession. When it is at its best, it's a revelation; a discovery of self and truth and life. But sometimes we can find ourselves altogether lost in it - sucked under, sucked into - and in that losing, take misteps and make mistakes. But for all that loving and losing, missing and mistaking, there is, at its core, the joy of joining and discovering, of being and being a part of, and it is, for me, one of the greatest feelings in the world ❤️
