Imagine yourself finding a way to get up in the skies and on the courtyard where two very powerful celestial beings live.  You move around ever so excitingly to check out the majestic place.  You would visit their homes and eventually to the top of the castle. Somehow, so far, you haven't been detected!

Oh, what’s that?  You just so happen to step on Miracle Space?  Uh oh!  You’re in the doghouse now!  Both celestial beings, slightly perplexed, went to go outside and see what is going on!  Brighton first finds this interesting stranger roaming around!

They weren’t mad that this silly stranger is here – in fact, they’re feeling rather jolly and in love since they finally got married.  With wide smiles and good-hearted intentions, they simply both use their powers to lift you up.  A twister of shining stars forms around the miracle space and in between Brighton and Twila. 

Instead of sending you back home, however, they bring you to the inside of the castle – a special birthday party and a special cake with your name on is waiting for you.  And what better way to throw a party than hanging out with the silliest of party animals?  Somehow, someway, they just so happen to know or remember your birthday.

Also, I love adding Shine Sprites and Power Moons onto those two because I love associating those with Brighton and Twila respectfully! I made this more colorful than intended, but it worked out! It was originally going to be orange and blue themed, lol.

Alternative version of the ship meme that I did a few days, but one character gets replaced with Bowser.

As if BriTwi isn't already a rarepair as is due to how obscure those characters are, allow me to introduce an even more rarepair.

I have been talking to a friend that happens to be a huuuuuge (and I mean that very seriously) Bowser fan, and she just so happens to inspire me to like this ship.

Doesn't really help that I love to think that Twila happens to have some sort of connection (non-familial, ofc) of Bowser's army in terms of her items and her design.

She helped me out as to how Bowser would (mostly) act in a relationship. Might be a few here and there fanon ideas, but hey, I'm all for it since my take on Twila has a lot of fanon ideas. Guess I don't need to go into detail that my friend loved how this turned out, haha.

It's been a while since I drew Bowser and he came out rather nicely.

BriTwi will always be #1 in my eyes, but this pair is a pretty close second. :)

I spent at least a couple of days working on this ship meme.  xD I learned a lot about FireAlpaca along the way too!

The original template was mainly made for OCs, but I decided to use it here because why not?  It looked good!  I also added and removed a few couple of things that the original didn’t have, and I spent too much time prettying this up lol.

I think I’m probably only going to post this on my personal Reddit and Tumblr, though I might post it on Bluesky too.  Don’t really feel like it’s professional for my other social mediums.  Other places kind of expect more out of me in terms of my skills, but I felt like being on the casual side of things lately.  Don’t really feel confident in posting it in the BrightonAndTwila subreddit for some reason.

I had fun making this, nonetheless. :)

Might make another one like these with another ship that I like, hehe.

Yes, I do ship these two, clearly.  I know some of you prefer to keep them as friends or see them as siblings.  That’s cool, and if stuff like this bothers you, just block me lol. I also added in a couple of tags that can be blocked.  I don’t really like pointless discourse, and I think various interpretations of these two are interesting anyways.

I sometimes wonder if one of the developers for this game one day decided to drink a can of Sprite (or some other variant), took a good look at the can, and had a eureka moment and pitched in the idea for Twila's final design.

This coincidence will never not be funny to me.

I like to think that Brighton and Twila living in a castle in the sky, as well as them taking turns to host, is a reference to "rulers don't rule alone".

Absolutely loving how much references they crammed into these characters and this game alone. Shame it's the second least selling Mario Party game ever.

On another note, apparently boys used to wear pink and girls used to wear blue in the 1920s. That was the rule of thumb, so to speak.

And I think Nintendo designed Brighton's and Twila's robes that way on purpose, and I think that is extremely clever, besides them designed that way for having analogous warm/cool color schemes.

Which makes sense because they're based off of sun and moon, which are over billions years old. Which ties in more or less of old traditions.

While I am in no way religious, I do think the idea of Virgin Mary ties in with Twila's wearing blue thing too. That, and it's a reference of the phrase, "once every blue moon".

Also, I don't get why people get really defensive when you say something critical towards Mario Party 8. Blinded by nostalgia, I guess?

I guess it's one thing that you grew up with it, and that's the only Mario Party game you have ever played, and I think 8 is OK. Not terrible, but not great either.

I can't help but to think that there's like a generational difference when it comes to MP8.

I guess it's different when you grew up with the series since Mario Party 2, but it's not like I'm personally attacking anyone for liking the game, but they act like that I am.

Yes, the motion controls were bad. No, I'm fairly certain it could have been GCN-controller compatible if Hudson didn't rush through this game. The world-realistic setting and building clashing with silly Mario characters doesn't really help anything either.

If people don't like Mario Party 6 or whatever, that's cool. I'd be curious as to why, but I wouldn't get defensive over a video game.

I don't know man, sometimes I just find it funny.

Meanwhile, FireAlpaca is pretty close to feel like drawing in Paint Tool SAI, but with more tools at my disposal. Poor SAI only has the most basic transformation tools, and that can be a pain to deal with when trying to fix anatomy issues.

It's still king when it comes to painting things, no doubt. It's also a good thing that transformation tools will be released in the future for SAI 2.

Now I eagerly anticipating for FA SE 3.0 release. :)

Why is Ibis Paint X so weird to draw on? I can't get myself adjusted to it at all...

I hate that I can't because Ibis has really good tools. I spent a good chunk of the day trying to figure out its settings and nothing is clicking for me. :(

For some reason, I envisioned Twila having some sort of Irish dialect or accent.

Wish I can draw something like that, but I probably won't be able to finish it today.

Which would be kinda cool considering I have seen people connecting Brighton and Twila as if they have British in them.

Could also see Brighton having an Australian dialect or accent too. Who knows.

Okay, so at 01:30, I went out and noticed the full moon was turning into a half moon. I watched the moon go into red and darkness for about an hour an a half.

I was expecting the moon to be more red, but the fact that it was still a deeper and darker red when I watched it was really, REALLY cool!

I was and still am tired waking up this morning, but watching that happen for the first time was well worth it and would be down to watching it again in the future.

Certainly made up for not being able to watch the solar eclipse last year due to weather.

Gonna try and see if I can observe the Lunar Eclipse tonight. I took a power nap earlier, just so I can see it without getting too tired. Love to see it within my own eyes.

I have been checking off and on earlier and nothing has happened yet.
