August 6th, Newport OR
Made it down to Newport. Today the Pacific northwest had a rain storm. Not too heavy, but enough to screw up Portland traffic.
Stopped at TA in Oregon for diesel. Filled up at $3.94 a gallon. Then down I5 to Corvallis and west to Newport. Highway 20 was really nice until the last 15 miles. Then it got narrow, curvy, and more pavement issues but we did fine.
Got to Pacific Motorcoach Resort just after noon. Rain had stopped but we had this foggy mist all afternoon and evening. Cold and wet just as you expect on the Oregon coast.
The site we have has a big yard surrounded by hedges so Brooklyn can run free. Next to the pool that suddenly is torn apart for repairs the next few weeks.

August 4th, Sequim
Foggy in the morning but sunny and Breezy in the afternoon.
Took Brooklyn back to the same beach to play this morning. Low tide but she didn't care, just fun to chase rocks.
We walked over to the Oak Tree Cafe for a great lunch. Split a Cajun Turkey sandwich. We don't know how her parents missed this place when they lived here, but it was the first time for us.
Tomorrow we start heading south to Newport Oregon. Will stay in Woodland WA for the night at a new RV park.
