Up and out early and #gettingitdone another successful run on the calf. Nothing spectacular stuck to my L2 HR zone on an undulating off road trail. Another big mileage week...over 45miles done. Getting back to some kind of normal high mile weeks, after my little heart scare 😳 Todays little run was a mix up of levels and paces. Also chucked a half decent 5km in there @ half marathon pace, not bad really to say it was windy and had 200ft of elevation. Good turn out by everyone from @teamacceleraterunning this morning...lots of pbs and a course record set by my brother @shelts200sx and closely followed by @harvey_martin1. Not a Pb for me but mine plan was slightly different plus I had hill reps yesterday 🤪 but 3rd wasn't to shabby. @voomnutrition thankyou for the latest delivery 😀 When people talk about sports nutrition, they all seem to talk about the big companies as that's all they see and lots of these companies are big multinational ones, seems that people seem to bypass the smaller ones for some reason !!! Well if you haven't tried the Voom bars you are missing out...as a person I never push or promote something because I'm asked or because its the perceived thing to do, but these guys at Voom are absolutely nailing it at the moment. #CloudBoom day 😊 First proper run in these @on_running shoes today. A nice and comfy, and easy L2 for 90 mins... What are my thoughts...WOW what a shoe, just brilliant ( where has this been hiding ). This will be amazing mara shoe. So light, responsive, snappy, comfortable, the carbon fibre infused speed board made the running really good and smooth...
