maeve will admit that the music being blasted on the grounds was top tier. parties weren’t her cup of tea but she enjoyed them from time to time. as usual, she found a spot away from the crowd. she had a couple of beers, maybe a shot here and there, but she was totally fine— or so she tells herself. she, too, liked to let loose sometimes even in her own little ways. maeve found herself jumping and dancing to the music, not caring that her hair was a complete mess and pieces stuck to her forehead. it was dark, who else was going to see anyway. though, she spoke too soon. “oh umm—” she cleared her throat, pulling down her shirt, and tucking her hair behind her ear; a sad attempt at looking well kept. “the music is really good. do you want a shot?” she at least thought to awkwardly offer them a drink. // @gallagherstart·

Some would say Jake was dancing among people, others that he was jumping at a pace that only Jake himself could understand, he wasn’t so short so he wouldn’t be kind of trampled by the other students. A few beers later and he was more drunk than sober when he stopped between songs to breathe and noticed the disheveled girl. “It is! I really do!” He responded by screaming because of the music, even though it wasn’t really necessary, he could just get close to her. “Your hair was cool like that!” He tripped over someone else and almost fell, straightening up to face her. “He was the one that almost knocked me down.”

     After an evaluative walk around the japanese garden and the cherry blossom orchard, Art decided to engage, in the party. Looking suspiciously at people as he crossed among passersby, he noticed the music playing in the background and frowned keenly. “Are they playing justin bieber? Are you fucking kidding me?” With a snort, he scanned the place looking for the dj just to find them near a tree. He moved towards them, but another student came into his field of vision. “Excuse me, you’re interrupting my intimidating eye contact focused on the DJ. D’you mind moving?” He motioned for the person to get out of the way, still not focusing on the person in front of him. @gallagherstart

  “You’re not intimidating anyone with that stray kitten look, Artkins.” Jake rested a hand on the boy’s shoulder and looked deep into his eyes, aware that he seemed furious, yet he wouldn’t attack him. “You look tense, do you wanna drink something? This song will end and soon it will be playing something more of your taste.” He smirked and nodded at the drinks table.

    THE GIRL NEEDED a break, a moment of recklessness. She found it in a familiar face. “Hey,” she approached Jake with a small smile. “I need someone to do a round of s h o t s with me. You game?”

  “Hey hey good to see you around!” Jake greeted her with a raised hand for a high five.“A round of shots? Are you kidding me, I’m absolutely on it, where do we start?” He immediately accepted looking around for the drinks.

@shenlongjam· — “hey, spider-man!” grace called out, a cheerful smile on her face. she made a beeline across the floor to give jake a quick hug and left her hand on his shoulder as she pulled away. “i haven’t seen you around in a while, and i remember i still owe you for that spider fiasco. granted, i never expected to hop on your back and feel like i was in a horror movie being stalked by a demon monster that was about the size of a thimble. still, it was as entertaining as it was traumatizing,” she recalled, chuckling at the memory. “anyways, what are you drinking tonight? or, i mean, do you drink?”

“Hey Gwen Stacy!” Jake smiled as he approached Grace, hugging her back. “It’s okay, I put myself in quarantine to make sure I wasn’t really becoming a spider boy.” He chuckled scratching the back of his head as he remembered the spider’s attack and how it all went wrong. “Don’t worry about it, as long as you’re not severely traumatized, and I take the responsibility for causing all that terror. Look on the bright side, at least you weren’t bitten.” He grinned. “I don’t know, I haven’t seen the options yet and yes, for sure. What are you drinking?”

    “HOW LONG BEFORE some passes out ─ or ‘accidentally’ sets something on fire?” Katerina proposes idly. There was something about Gallagher students. Although the picnic so far held a different aura than New Year’s for example, the brunette knew it was practically INEVITABLE the closer they got to nightfall for things to get wild and go awry. Speaking of─ “I wouldn’t drink the tea if I were you, by the way,” she quickly added, throwing a devious glance to the person next to her. “Not unless you want to get knocked on your ass.”

“Yeah, considering my ability to set things on fire unintentionally, I can promise to stay away from flammable things— Oh no, wait. My bad, it’s not gonna happen.” He shrugged, glancing at the tea. “I think I’m gonna drink two glasses full of it.”

 Jake couldn’t help but smile at her graceful smile. “Of course it is! You don’t have to thank me, I just told you the truth.” He sighed, relieved that she didn’t think he was crazy, but unwittingly nudged her waist, pulling his hand back quickly. “My bad.” He winced embarrassed, glancing down at Sakura. “Good point, not everyone is still under the wing of a parent like me. And I’m aware that it won’t be like this forever.” He sighed ruefully. “Wow, she is a mature lady. She acts like a puppy but I suppose she takes care of you too? Isn’t she jealous of you with other people?”

– “NAH, FORGET IT, I CAN’T FOCUS,” LOUIS SHAKES HIS HEAD, pushing his books away from him. he and jake have been working on this lab for over an hour, but louis has too much on his mind. normally he can lazer in on it all, but with impending graduation and a witness protection student to look after, it’s hard to think about a lab that’s due. “ sorry. i’m being no help today, i won’t be pissed if you want a new partner. ”

 As Louis gives up on work, Jake finally allows himself to yawn and leans back against the lab chair. “Look, I don’t blame you, maybe all we need is a good cup of coffee, I think we should take a break before we try again.” He shrugs, fully understanding that the class could be a little tiring for a freshman, imagine for a senior. “How about we go for a walk or play a game, you decide.”

I’m providing today.” He says with a glint in his eyes, patting his chest pocket where a small package sits comfortably. “All work, no play makes Jakey a boy.” Mars clicks his tongue in disapproval. Was it just him or was everyone in this school in dire need of stress alleviation? “You need to take a load off. You know, get some fresh air. Let’s go for a walk.” 

Jake nods taking a deep breath, he glances around just to be absolutely sure that his mom isn’t around. She wasn’t obvious but still. “Thanks dude.” He smiles looking back at Mars and his magic pocket. “Do we have a fan of The Shining here?” He asks, moving towards the door of the common room. “Let’s get out of here then. A walk, I love taking a walk in the forest.”

Her anxiety spiked at his aggression. Grace didn’t even realize she was holding her breath until he attacked the spider with his sneaker—which only seemed to aggravate the arachnid—and let out a sharp yelp at the sight of the spider jumping at him. “Putain!”

She didn’t care that she probably caused a hell of a ruckus outside her dorm, all she could think about what that thing now possibly crawling anywhere (like her leg, which made her physically squirm) and that her room had now become a free-for-all battlefield. Grace was unsure whether to grab onto him or skid backward into the hall, exasperatedly asking, “Wait, wait! What now?!”

 After the spider attack Jacob did not think of much except to push, as gently as possible, in view of the desperation of the moment, the blonde to the other end of the room taking a few little hops to make sure it wasn’t trapped in his foot. Comical scene if it weren’t tragic. Those bunker-style dorms really weren’t made for such a mess.

 Jake was cursing himself at that moment, he would like to be totally attentive to the ground and any movement that would denounce the presence of the invader but the fact that the blonde was in the same room distracted him. “Get on my back, to avoid the spider climbing on you.” He suggested thinking it was the best solution while taking off his other sneakers and prepared to really kill that spider crap. “I have to kill it, you’re not gonna sleep anywhere else tonight.” He informed determinedly still inspecting the bedroom floor, until he spotted the damn spider in his other sneakers, near the door.

when the uncoated paper stuck to his hand the way comic books did, his eyebrows rose. “ woah - ” he flips through it slowly, taking her time with them, reading them here and there. he puts it down slowly like there’s a possibility it’ll break if he drops it too fast. “ how’d you get into these ? ”

In the midst of his chatter Jake observes the way Camp handles his comic and approves. “My mom gave me one of those when I was younger. It was just one of her great ideas. Honestly, I can’t thank her enough.” The boy would never miss an opportunity to praise Rosamie.

          A long, tired sigh escaped from art’s lips, there were so many people everywhere. Was it possible that he wouldn’t find an unoccupied place to put his thoughts in order? And where the hell was his sister for God’s sake. He was getting mentally exhausted from wandering the halls and grounds, although instructive,the place was huge. Dissatisfied, he heads towards the next person he sees. “Listen, did you happen to see a girl, a few inches shorter than me, perfectly lined bangs, often have an unbeatable smile on her face?” His eyes narrow slightly, noting to each reaction of the person he asks, as much as he struggled to sound nonchalant, his interest was real. “If it helps, she always has a notebook that insists on dropping dry leaves. I hope you don’t know that but she kind of smells like lilies— ” He cleared his throat, clenching his jaw at his pathetic attempt to find her, that was too much information. He couldn’t stop himself from thinking about just ignoring the last few seconds and continuing to search by himself. Yet he decided to take the risk. @gallagherstart

  Jake was just looking for someone to annoy when the other guy approached him. Upon hearing the description of the alleged girl, a half smile was present on the boy’s lips but he still had doubts about who it could be, it seemed like a guessing game to him, obviously not to daddy’s little boy who seemed to be in a bad mood. “Hm, I’m not sure, tell me more. So far I only know she’s a cupcake.” He joked holding the other’s judgmental gaze on him, trying not to laugh. “My goodness, are you her boyfriend? If not, I’m interested.” He commented smirking this time. The description coincided with his roommate Roxy’s best friend, so he knew who she was and where she was.

“ i don’t know, if i had a time machine i’d do, like, facebook before mark zuckerberg… i don’t trust lizard people. ” she laughs, though she really did believe that theory that he was one. “ i don’t think there’s anything WRONG with saying everything, though.. not if you feel like it helped, anyways. ” cori shrugged, that was the important thing. “ if i could be any x-men it would be storm, i’m actuallys so gay for her. knife throwing seems essential, so i’ll go in with my fists, like, bam, bam, pow, pow ! and you’re behind like, p..ew ? what noise does a knife being thrown make ? shoo..shwip ? ” her brows furrowed, unable to figure it out. “ suicide pact it is, then. ”

     “Now this is a good use for a time machine. I’ll tell you, neither do I trust him.” Jake laughs shrugging his shoulders hoping she isn’t a hundred percent joking because he believes in some conspiracies. “Yes, of course, nothing wrong. I just wish I had thought of making things difficult for them. I’m fine, it didn’t affect me much, my sleep was never very regulated. I was more concerned about my friends and my mother being hurt. But everyone is fine.” He commented scratching the back of his head with a half smile. “I would be Wolverine. It’s self-explanatory. Storm is very powerful, a good choice. I think it’s more like a swoosh.” He replied laughing and shaking his head, quite amused by Cori’s way of thinking. “Okay okay I think we’re going too far. We’d better create a kind of revolution.”
