Nothing to do with my previous post but every time I see this video I think "Damn, Akira looks awful" or "I can't believe I tried to imitate the Persona style and it came out so horrible" and I get depressed and curl up in a ball in my bed.

No, I'm not joking.

Context: it's basically all a parody of "The Servant of Evil" by Vocaloid, with Akira killing Sumire because Akechi saw how Sumi stole a kiss from Akira (Basically, Akechi, in his jealous rage, sent Akira to kill her, you know the things Goro does. And they (Akira and Sumi) are childhood friends and Sumi has had a crush on Akira ever since)...

So everything was normal and canonical until Goro died of depression next to Akira's grave and was reincarnated in the world of P5 that we all know (but without the powers) and Goro realizes that Akira and the others were also reincarnated as children and Our Little Crow he makes sure Akira is always by his side.

Honestly, when I first joined the P5R fandom, I thought Goro might have been a kinder, less destructive person if what happened to Shido and his mother hadn't happened to him. (2 years ago)

But now, with time and my two months of university knowledge of psychology, I realize that he would never have been a nice child, let alone someone moderately polite, if nothing had happened to him. He will continue to be the resentful and jealous child he has always been, only his outbursts will be based on small actions. Well, maybe he won't be as violent as I describe him, maybe he will be kind but with that resentful side still present.

His MAOAs are few. Upon witnessing his mother's suicide, his first reaction was to decide to dedicate his life to killing his father, whose actions led to that outcome.

Which makes sense given his age, but over time, everything else passes and life becomes complicated, as if he doesn't want it to end, because he knows it's the only thing he has, and after that, he'll have no goals or dreams. For starters, he has none.

Until Akira/Ren, but Goro was trapped in his own chaos of bad decisions and didn't realize he could have a better future. Definitely an example of how genetics can be a disaster, and the environment you grow up in can bring out the worst in a person who already exhibits parasocial behaviors by default.

While I feel I should take a closer look at Goro Akechi, give me a few months and I'll update my analysis of this guy.
