Different Things Harry Does as a Boyfriend Headcannon

𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐤♡

When you’re sick Harry goes into somewhat of a momma bear mode, first checking to see if you have a fever, asking you what hurts, or what’s bothering you

He’ll get you pain killers and cold medicine first thing when you wake up, helping you take them if you need it!

Harry will get you a water bottle with some cold water and leave it next to your bedside along with some tea, ginger if you’re stomach is bothering you, honey and lemon if your throat is sore and scratchy

Usually you’re quite clingy when you’re not feeling well so Harry is all onboard for cuddles and snuggles as long as you’d like

When you’re hungry, or even if you aren’t hungry he’ll get you some broth or soup and crackers, something easy to digest and fill your stomach with nutrients

If you have a fever Harry will run you a bath to get your temperature down, if you’re cold he’ll fill your hot water bottle and tuck it against your stomach, making sure the covers are pulled all the way up

He’s like your own little personal nurse

𝐢𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐚𝐝/𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐚 𝐛𝐚𝐝 𝐝𝐚𝐲♡

The first thing Harry does is meet you at the door, already seeing your text explaining your hard day, or telling him you’re not feeling like yourself

He’ll pull you into a hug, holding you close to his chest, whispering sweet nothings into your ear

“i’m sorry today wasn’t kind to you, i’m so proud of you” “i love you so much baby” “let it out, I’m right here”

Harry will have put out some comfy clothes for you to change into, a bubble bath most likely set up to surprise you, and of course he’s more than happy to join you if you’d like

If you’re not in the mood, and just want some space alone, he’ll leave you be but not before pressing a gently kiss to your forehead and telling you he loves you

Harry will ask you what you want for dinner, but he’s usually already sure he knows what you’ll ask for, and you both end the night cuddled up on the couch watching your favourite shows or favourite movie

By the end of the night with the love and kindness Harry’s given you, you’re usually feeling a bit lighter and happier than when you got home

𝐢𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐫𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞♡

It’s no surprise you can’t go on every adventure with Harry and he knows that, but that doesn’t mean you don’t make time for one another whenever you can

Harry will call and facetime you as much as he can, constantly wanting you to be involved in what he’s doing, he loves including you in his days

You’ll send Harry photos or videos of what you get up too, or if you see something that reminds you of him, even if it’s as little as a cute strawberry pin you found at a local craft fair

Both of you are used to sleeping next to one another and Harry knows some nights he can expect a call your tired voice saying “I can’t sleep without you…will you talk to me until I get sleepy..?” or “can you tell me a story/sing me a song?”

Harry is more than happy to sing you a lullaby or read you some of the book he’s working on, and most times within 5 minutes he can hear the sound of your breathing deepen, little snores escaping your lips

You both text throughout the day too, so realistically even if you’re oceans apart, you both feel so close together

𝐨𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲♡

Harry will wake you up with kisses across your skin, whispering a soft “happy birthday baby” or “happy anniversary my love”

You’ll spend a little more time in bed cuddled up and just talking quietly both of you still a bit sleepy despite getting somewhat of an early bedtime the night before

If it’s your birthday Harry will bring up breakfast for you, usually your favourite followed by a few little gifts despite you telling him not to get you anything

If it’s your anniversary you’ll both make breakfast together, or you’ll make it for Harry depending on how slow or fast you both get up

You’ll do gifts after eating together both of you getting each other a few small yet meaningful things

For either celebration you’ll usually either go out for dinner or order your favourite take out, watch some movies or a bit of tv on the couch, or if there’s a musical, or play happening in London, you’ll both attend one together

You always end the night tangled up amongst each other whether that be intimate or not, and you get a little chance to look back on the year and feel even more grateful you’ve gotten to celebrate together once again

𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬♡

Some of the little yet very sweet things Harry does for you seem small to others but to you mean the world to you

He’ll leave sticky notes around the house, words of affirmation or cute sayings to help boost your mood and start your day right

You never run out of any period products or your favourite skin care items, Harry constantly keeping an eye on the cupboards where you store them, refilling anything you might be missing

He’ll cook meals and bake little snacks for you, packing them up for you to take to work, or just to prep something easy when he’s away, knowing you most likely won’t be in the mood to cook

Harry brings you flowers every friday, a tradition that started when you both first got together, he’ll walk in the door after being at the studio, a beautiful bouquet in his hands, greeting you with a sweet kiss and a big hug before holding them out to you “flowers for my beautiful y/n”

Most of all, Harry tells you he loves you any chance he gets, and yes that may seem small, having someone as loving and supporting in your life as Harry is to you, will always be something you’re beyond thankful for

Harry truly is your soulmate and you’ve never felt luckier than you do with him♡
