This is my own summary of art in 2024, I decided to add the best arts of this year in this post.

Frankly speaking, despite I started improving my techniques, I drew really rarely this year, unfortunately. And now I'm even experiencing some kind of creative crisis.

So, the only objectives I'm going to set for the next year, and not only year, are:

- to love my hobby,

- to feel comfort from doing it,

- to search for new ways of considering it like some exciting game, not exhausting work.

That's what I need the most. Because I've found out that any brand new hobbies feel uncomfortable for me. Thinking I should give up on it makes me extremely sad and feeling empty, so I should find comfort in this activity again. I hope I'll manage to do this eventually.

Also I wish the same to all who have any struggles with their creativity. May there be strength in you to overcome all the difficulties you face. ❤️

My 2024 Art Summary!

I’ll be real, yall, this was not a great year for me for a lot of reasons, art included. I had huge stretches of time where I didn’t draw anything, times where I’d sit down to draw and wondered why I had even bothered, and times where I seriously questioned whether or not I should even still be trying to make art at all.

I have gotten the sense, through talking with friends and in hearing similar struggles online, that this was a pretty common issue for people this year. Mental health, burn out… these things get everyone. And its tough. I dont like to be especially personal online, but hearing that other people in my life were dealing with similar things made the issue feel a little less like some kind of deep, personal failing.

Its okay to not draw for a while. Its okay to need to take breaks from personal projects. Its okay for those breaks to last longer than you expect.

I hope yall have a safe rest of your holiday season, stay warm, and that the new year is a little kinder. Or at the very least, that we are a little kinder to ourselves.

It's the first time when I present my ParaLive OCs, so I'd like to tell a bit more about them before revealing their profiles.

Young man's name is Tooru, he's a leader of RED陰陽 (RED Yin Yang) hip-hop unit. Lady's name is Akane, she's 2 inches higher and 2 years older than Tooru.

Most of all ParaLive units they are connected with BAE and cozmez. Akane admires Ann a lot because of their style and the sense of inner freedom they shows. Tooru is a big fan and supporter of cozmez (and actually hates Allen :'D).

Tooru lives a Hannah Montana life. For his dad he's an excellent student at marketing and management college but at the same time he craves to be a popular phantom rapper, that's why he trains himself out secretly doing music and performing on paid phantom rap battles, achieving the fame of a strong conqueror and always winning rebel. He has gloomy personality, he smiles rarely, but he really values and respects self-made phantom rappers who rose from the lowest of the low and became popular despite everything.

In her past, Akane had some kind of gender identity crisis after years of being abused by her father and working in strip club industry. But now she doesn't work there anymore, and doesn't live with her family for a long time, doesn't even communicate with them. Her life is more happy and content. She is an informal style model, successful phantom rapper, her hobbies are makeup and jiu jitsu, and she has strong feminist vision.

Tooru and Akane have different goals, but together they are good friends and a strong team. I hope those who'll see this post will like them!

My friend @tombstoneinfire and me created ParaLive OC who makes Shion Kaida much better as a character, in our opinion.

Please give a warm welcome to Shion's mother, Yukari Kaida-san.

Here's a bit about her background and today's life:

— she gave birth to Shion prematurely and fought for his life, had been barely recovered from the childbirth;

— she heard the question “Is he contagious?” about Shion more times than she can count;

— she used to work as an escort to earn money for bringing her son up;

— all her romantic experiences were extremely unlucky, since most men saw her as a sexual object, especially when they had found out about her job;

— she went to prison after she killed her boyfriend in self-defense;

— even before going to prison she had treated other girls who had been working in her job sphere very well and sisterly, and her will to help other women became only stronger in women's prison;

— she has started a blog about her life and experiences as a former escort and prisoner. In her posts she warns young women against life she had before, highlights the stories her subscribers share with her, and organizes charity fundraisings;

— she loves her son by all her heart despite everything. But she deeply regrets she couldn't be with him at very important moments of his growing-up and couldn't protect him from many terrible incidents and mistakes;

— now she works at a domestic violence shelter and plans to found her own in the future because she believes there should be more such places in Japan;

— she actively blogs and supports GokuLuck by attending all their performances and helping guys at the backstage.
