RPG Maker MV Announced for PC And Mac!

The next RPG Maker has just been announced by Famitsu, and will be called RPG MAKER MV. The tool promises to have grandiose developments. The points listed by the magazine suggests: Support for multi-platform. Battles included in sideview. Support for touch controls and mouse. Large increase in the limit of the database items. Automatically maps with three layers. Games will run for high resolution. A release date has not been announced.

It’s been super hard trying to work on the game since I’ve been back at uni, but I managed to fit in some time this weekend to update text boxes a bit and play around with the name windows. Here’s 2 tests I’ve made so far — still not quite happy but I’m hoping with some experimentation I can figure it out within the next few days.

Seems like I’ve been going through lots of quick and short games recently. Now with “When it rains, I want to disappear off somewhere” by Umeemee to roku de nashi. Not a big game, so it’s not much, but I found it somewhat charming. There’s three bad endings (that feel more like game overs), an actual game over, and three “ending” endings.

Though I’ve recently translated a lot of short and quick games, the next one, Re;member, will not be. It’s very been well-regarded, so I’m quite excited about it. I’m also very much looking forward to the one after that, Evil Lord Girl Elly, since I said a long time ago that it was my favorite RPG Maker/Wolf RPG Editor game. I’m not sure if it’s always going to be my favorite game, because I am also looking forward to ones like “Girls Carnival!” and “Chime” among others, but we’ll see.

I took someone’s advice and made a couch facing the TV, but I had to shift some stuff here and there so they are alligned properly. I think the area is a bit big now so I might make a coffee table or adjust the couches on the side so they are not as big.
