This was quite a bit easier than I was expecting.S and E were already there, T and H come easy, and the diagonal on the Z was made from reversing the one part of the R.

This one wasn’t nearly as difficult as anticipated. Very lucky break on the H already being in place.

I wanted to put the heart over the I but it already had wings, plus the caption gets in the way. Maybe that caption needs to be removed altogether.

I like how I perceive not as really easy, even though I had to free-hand most of the smaller letters. I also ran into some trouble with the U, with the end of the right inside curve that I’m not happy with.

I consider this my thus-far magnum opus, even if it didn’t garner as much attention on TheShizz as others have. Even tough the F became a T very easily, this was a long, messy road otherwise. But I’m very pleased with how it turned out. If I were to adjust anything, the Zs on the right maybe climb too high.

This is the happiest I’ve been with the Zs on anything. It’s unfortunate that the S doesn’t quite fit with the lengthening of the M.
Unfortunately, you can’t get the framerate on the animation on the web that you need. I spent a while grabbing the colors by pausing an emulator and advancing frame-by-frame.

This was reeeeeaal easy. All I had to do was make H and Z. I’m not happy with how the S looks at the top. I guess I could lengthen that since it’s only shorter because of the interaction with the T in the original.

Robocop aka. Human Security Officer was the choice for the Shizz’s MAGFest 2017 shirt. This should come as no surprise due to it being Robocop and also the art quality.
I some shit about copyright from the first shirt printer that I went to about the design, even though they have a whole section with parody designs. In the end, a friend tipped me off to www.legacyprintingco.com who did a perfect job on 55 shirts of diverse base colors, and for the perfect price.
Instead of providing just the original, I’ll put my “working” sheet. You can see how I build a large H before realizing that I needed a smaller one.

For once, making the Zs was one of the easiest parts. The S was a nightmare, the lighting/shadows of which still needs fixing. If I were to fix stuff, I would do that and maybe rework the goo in just about all of the places.

I was very excited to work on and complete this, which took a while considering how much free-hand needed to be involved. I’m not happy about the amount of plain space on the H to the left of the I, but I’m happy about just about everything else. There are a handful of potential details changes that I would put to a committee if this were to be used for anything.

In my research of fonts, I’ve found there is almost anything you could ever want freely out there in a web application. I got this one here: http://www.dafont.com/barbarian.font?text=Shizz.%3E&psize=l and simply adjusted the jankeyness.
I originally wanted to make a logo using the NES Conan game (a shitty reskin of Myth) title screen, but this was so much easier and better.

This was a real test. I had to free-hand a lot of it, though online font research helped a bunch with Z and S. Notice that the letters have to get a little smaller going from left to right.

I consider this one of the best, potentially will be a shirt one day. Still not 100% happy with the Zs. I’ve added an alternate Z form.

This turned out to the best easiest one. All of the letters were already there!

Pretty pleased with this considering how early on it was. H was worked out of the Ns rather easily, and the Zs were free-handed pretty well. There is a little bit of jank to the middle of the S, made from the big C, that I would fix if I were to use this for anything.
The only trouble is how lopsided it is to the right, since the words are shorter. I toyed with making tail to the right turn down right over his head, but it didn’t look good. Maybe a different layout, with the dude on the left, would work better.....
OK, so I just gave that a shot, and even fixed the S jank that I was talking about. The 3rd image shows the result. Luckily his jacked has a symmetrical letter.

T, E, and I were already there. Pretty simple due to the sheer low number of pixels I needed to manipulate, but you can start to see me getting confident (and even succeeding!) in free-handing some stuff.
